Our Daily Spread for May 8, 2011

Is this the first time you come here? Well …

HOW TO USE THE MATERIAL WE HAVE FOR YOU HERE. Read the sentences, and pick out the ones that seem to apply to you, to the people around you. They are a Tarot analysis of your day’s circumstances. As the day (or several days) unfolds, you may find the information is relevant. The question is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.” Often, your adopting the attitude you feel in the blog works for your day!

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean even contradictory things. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are less specific, more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. Especially when a pronoun is in parentheses, feel free to substitute.

The Advice section sums up a general meaning of all the sentences.

Remember to share your experience with a comment here if you have words for it … I spend two or more hours each day writing these, and I love it.

Photos of the animals that the people who call me support are in with the articles I wrote for you. Enjoy them too!

And you can call me at the 800 99 3 6 9 12 number from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day. I analyze business situations accurately too. (Testimonials are on the web site.)

Four of Pentacles

Two of Pentacles, Three of Cups, Empress

Meanings and Illustrations:

Same pattern as yesterday: The first three cards are, in Rider Waite interpretation, consistent with a party, celebration, being glamorous. The last card means to be short of (anything), to be on a budget, to have a secret, even to inhibit or repress feelings.

Two of Pentacles is expressing a kick-your-heels-up levity today. He can’t help it; it’s the company he is in. His illustration shows a juggler in an amusing get-up – red, of course – dancing while he swings those balls in a loop that means ‘to go on indefinitely,’ in math language.

Three of Cups is the party girls celebrating together, sharing freely with one another, toasting their prosperity. Nothing not to like here!

Empress has many meanings. Today she is the Goddess, the sexy woman, the spoiled beauty, Lady Bountiful, the pretty girl. Her illustration suggests any of the fertility goddesses. She has a valentine with the symbol for female next to her lounge chair.

Four of Pentacles is about not having, or not being, enough. He is about repression, secrecy, holding onto what little you have, being on a budget. He is pictured in the Rider Waite deck as hugging his money to himself, sitting outcast on the outskirts of the city.

Advice says that being broke is no excuse not to enjoy life, celebrate with friends, and party down. Friends can share expenses sometimes when they are ‘in the chips.’ You can feel rich and live rich when you are on a budget. The little bit you have goes a long way with good feelings. It also suggests that a good-looking woman can party for free. You can be broke and feel good about life.

Sometimes you share beautiful times with people like yourself, even when there’s not much of that.

Whatever you are short of, you have plenty to celebrate with friends every once in a while.

Oh, you have shortcomings, kinda, but we, your girl friends, think you are Lady Bountiful.

He shares what little he has, every time, with the woman he loves.

She is sexy and glamorous, she can go from broke to the good life.

Friends can share expenses sometimes when one of them is ‘in the chips’ and one isn’t.

A woman who downplays her looks gets along better with women friends.

Sometimes when you are short of money, your friends get together and make you feel special.

Best keep it secret when you are dating several desirable ladies.

Spoil yourself in secret going out with your girlfriend.

Being generous with your friends while being on a budget is tricky.

Yes, a pretty girl can balance her budget and party often too.

  1. One way to appreciate what you do have is to imagine losing it. If your house burned down, you would be remembering your coffee pot fondly! Buddha said — and I remember this from my childhood spent in the Carnegie library — “There are two ways to have everything you want. One is to go out and acquire all the things you desire. The other is to desire only the things you have already acquired.” (Of course, he was speaking before the days of credit card debt.)

  2. Anna

I sooo need to do this

    • You know, I lay out these cards, and interpret them not knowing where they are going. They really do speak with a voice of their own.

  3. Win Freeman

Guess I’ll try to let go of what I have to enjoy that which I am…

    • Well, you don’t have to let go of a lot.
And, I know you will be happy about THIS: I have permission of US Games to use the images (which Stefanie did not) and Billijo (my able bookkeeper/assistant) has downloaded them onto my computer.
Now to get them on here! Billijo and a friend and maybe friend’s husband (and me) will put our heads together to achieve this task! I trust.

  4. Tina G

Well, I knot hte ‘partying’ type of person or someone with alot of friends to go ‘hang out’ with but I get the message – enjoy what you have, have fun and when you get lemons – make lemonade.
    gotta it!!

    • Tina G

I have 2 misspelled words (not and the) sorry about that

    • Partying can be a conversation over the phone, or having coffee with a neighbor. Partying is enjoying life; and you don’t have to quit enjoying because you are short on disposable income. As a mater of fact, enjoying life is likely to attract income, indirectly. People see a person who has an attitude of enjoyment as successful.
