Our Daily Spread for August 26, 2011 Friday ©

Advice is about riding on a cloud of chaos to have your kingdom in order,  about being forced to deal with craziness,  even your own,  to succeed and succeed in your own style.  It’s about making upside-down things turn out right however it must be done.  It’s about having sane life in a crazy world even if you are insane too.  Entrepreneurs succeed in different unrelated fields.  Entrepreneurs win when things are wrecked.

Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do:

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.”

The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days, if there is one.

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

Oh,  this is an interesting lineup.  In the center is crazy out-of-control Seven of Cups (which also means an assortment of unrelateds).  To the left is a Nine of Pentacles woman in control of her orderly life,  business,  kingdom or whatever,  who is moneyed and successful.  To the right is a Chariot man who is in control of his orderly life,  business,  kingdom or whatever,  who is successful,  ambitious,  purposeful (and presumably moneyed).

And over them all is the by-force-by-golly,  all-one-way Ace of Swords.  It means absolute,  an order,  a victory,  and so on.

Interesting,  huh?

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT

CARDS

Nine of Pentacles has her life in order and is the captain of her soul.  She lives the life she wants,  has the things she wants and is ‘alone’ in the Greta Garbo sense of the word.  She don’ need nobody.  There she stands with her falcon in her vineyard,  a snail before her to indicate she does things in her own good time.

Seven of Cups are things gone awry as in the Sorcerer’s apprentice or as in Pandora’s Box.  Scattered,  shattered,  in pieces,  shocking nonsensical shape all over the place. A “What the ___?!”  kind of experience.

Chariot has everything –  I mean everything under control.  He is the crafty strategist on the respectable side.  He will get ahead using the very things that prevent him from getting ahead.  He has hitched those stubborn steeds so that the one that will go only left is on the right and vice versa,  so they will get him ahead in spite of themselves.  He and Strength have a lot in common;  they should make babies to populate this sad world.

Ace of Swords does not take ‘no’ for an answer.  That’s an order.  It’s absolutely one way and absolutely not the other.  It is victory for one side and defeat for the other –  no half measures.  That hand is holding a blade crowned with the laurel wreath of victory.
