Our Daily Spread for December 1, 2011 Thursday ©

Advice Fighting mode is a motivator.  Whether it’s a fight with the wife to get out of the house,  or a woman whose focused ambition it is to have a home of her own no matter how much effort it will take,  the struggle is a precursor to arriving at the chosen success.  What gets our blood moving indicates where we are going in life.  If no blood is moving, there is no life.  It could be as simple as:  She is trying to get married again,  this time to a man with some ambition.

Five of Wands – Knight of Swords – Queen of Wands

Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice above which is a summary of the Messages.  (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It  is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific, accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little,  or a lot,  about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works?  If so,

*Go to Meanings and Illustrations:  Observation of the Spread section below.  This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together to mean things.

*Go to Meanings and Illustrations:  Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It describes how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Say hello back!  Comment!  I spend two hours a day or more writing these to you.  Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it.  Read others’ comments.

Five of Wands –  Knight of Swords –  Queen of Wands

Five of Wands and Knight of Swords both involve a lot of energy.  Five of Wands is a big effort,  is struggling or fighting,  is a competition.  It is also being combative.  Knight of Swords is all-out pursuit,  is turning around,  is being in a big hurry.

Queen of Wands and Chariot are both respectable people who are responsible and who are in charge:  managers.

Five of Wands shows five fellows either fighting or competing in a game,  whacking one another with boards energetically.  Its meanings are just that:  fight,  struggle,  energetic effort,  competition or compete.

Knight of Swords is to pursue full speed ahead,  make a U-turn and race back in the other direction,  speed or rush,  and even to flee,  which is not consistent with the illustration that shows a knight in full pursuit of some battle.

Queen of Wands Here is the wife, the respectable woman, the manager, the woman with some common sense and a home of her own to run. She has a flower in one hand and a board in the other, and the eagle-eyed look of a teacher of young children.

Chariot is the successful person in charge,  the manager and strategist,  the one who gets ahead by sheer willpower.  He is pictured controlling sphinxes with a wand who are in a position as if hitched to his wagon.  He is performing magic to get ahead.

  1. On going battle at work.. why can’t people get along and do their work or let those of us that do work do it in peace? Hahahah no matter what they do I won’t go down

    • When I worked in a political type job, I wrote a fiction diary about the types and how they interacted with one another. I was one of the characters.
Try that. It is good therapy … and who knows? … it might make a nice little EBook. You could dedicate it to the characters.

      • Sounds intresting… but honestly I don’t want more work. I’m a single mother of two running my household… that’s just naming a few. I don’t like drama but others do and its because they r bored w their bored. Thanks Emily. I’m just gonna wish em happines.

  2. Anna

Yeah, I energetically kicked him to the curb

  3. jules

wow! – mine today. I’ve been considering that if I’m in “fight for it”
mode so often lately, and we repeat what we get some sort of satisfaction
from (even if in the unconscious),then what gives?
Motivation … interesting. And with that clarity, maybe other choices of how to get things done. (or maybe not:)
    Thank you Emily.

    • It sounds like the blood is moving.

      Yours is good.
