Our Daily Spread for January 13, 2012 Friday©

Advice  Family always has pasts,  doesn’t it  –  happy times and not-so-happy times,  bereavement and celebrations,  moving in and out of houses and places,  children welcomed into membership and miserable childhoods.  Weddings to celebrate and the parental house to gather at.  Togetherness is the hallmark of family life,  togetherness even when the whole scene is depressing to us.

Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –   You are done now –   See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Six of Cups
Five of Cups – Four of Wands – Three of Cups

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT READING  Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Marriage and Sad Feelings (Five of Cups + Four of Wands)

The failed marriage makes this romance a shared celebration of life.

He is depressed about the baby making their happy union a family.

Mourning the past marriage even as life is so good.

Having kids makes his happy marriage depressing.

If only he had married his childhood sweetheart, how good life would have been.

Miss the happy loving home we had together.

He is homesick, so he marries the woman he can trust who is fun to be with.

Married with children is the good life with some depressing times.

A childhood so miserable this marriage is happy to you.

Family Togetherness (Four of Wands + Three of Pentacles)

Our family has been together in both good times and bad times.

The whole family pitches in to comfort the bereaved.

The couple is happy to have a child after the loss of one.

We are all happy, in this family, to give one another what each lacks to be happy and prosperous.

The members of the family get along well, even the children, in spite of their sad past.

Company in Bad Times (Five of Cups + Four of Wands)

Camaraderie working here at headquarters, and always has been, even in the bad times.

The Company distributes money to us in good times and bad.

Past losses make a good year for the Company now.

Company had a loss but it still gives us all a bonus.

Shareholders of the Company lose the dividends.

Happy about Home (Four of Wands + Three of Cups)

Homesick for the old house even as we celebrate the one in the good neighborhood.

Losing a house but happy to be living in an old, quaint, or cute place.

A housewarming gift and a party while still haunted by the past.

The loser is a kid happy to share in his parents’ home.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Say hello back!  Comment!  I spend two hours a day or more writing these to you.  Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it.  Read others’ comments.

And you can call me at the 800 99 3 6 9 12 number from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day.  (3-6-9-12 like a clock.  It makes a pattern on the phone as well –  easy to remember.)   I analyze business situations and personal relationships accurately from both Tarot and practical perspectives.  You enjoy it.  (Testimonials are on the web site.  http://EmilysInsight.com.)

Six of Cups
Five of Cups – Four of Wands – Three of Cups

Both Four of Wands and Six of Cups are about house and home, and both are happy in mood. Three of Cups is also happy, and it shares the ‘togetherness’ theme of Four of Wands, since it is about getting along and sharing.

But Five of Cups, which shares the meaning of ‘past’ with Six of Cups, is a downer to all the good vibes of the other Rider Waite Tarot citizens. Five of Cups is the regrettable sad past, is even bereavement, and Six of Cups is the sweet past. The damper Five of Cups puts on the party is very pervasive. We are left with a theme of togetherness, sharing camaraderie in family or company or romance, with some kind of pall over it.

Five of Cups Haunted by a past I just can’t get over. Counting the loss rather than what is left. Missing the deceased and not caring about life as it goes on. Wishing you had or had not done something in the past. Five of Cups should be titled ‘If Only.’

In Rider Waite, it’s one of those cards whose picture says it all: On a gray day, in a desolate sparse landscape, a bent and black-robed figure contemplates what is spilled and has its back to what is full. It takes time to back out of these episodes, doesn’t it?

Four of Wands doesn’t stop at meaning the married couple and the family; it goes on to be any human organization – neighborhood, city, county, state, nation, organization or company, public building, headquarters … whatever. It has political overtones but its illustration is a society wedding which, when you think about it, is a community event.

Three of Cups One for all, and all for one – togetherness and camaraderie, sharing and pooling resources and effort, partying and having fun, celebrating the harvest. It is one of the ‘meeting of three people’ Rider Waite Tarot cards, and it is very, very happy: These people get along and trust one another.

Six of Cups also is about trust and togetherness in a different way. The sentimental romantic nostalgic past; children or child; a gift (the giving or the receiving); a house, particularly an old or quaint house. These meanings arise from an illustration of a little boy giving a little girl flowers in front of a large quaint estate or apartment building.

Well I’m not sure the reading reflects the advise for me…but Friday the 13th it was for me…bad luck in all directions.

Losing a house but happy to be living in an old, quaint, or cute place.
Well that describes my move, which will be complete this weekend (finally!)

The failed marriage makes this romance a shared celebration of life.to me says that another romance is already here (and I can even feel it) even if it hasn’t started yet…

    • Tarot is following your life events right now in a group reading! When you have that feeling that something is brewing, it is. The new person the new environment makes you attracts a new style of relationship. (If you have not read the article here about the ‘Warm Puppy,’ it explains this sort of thing.
