Advice  Here we contrast opposite directions in life:  Dropping out of active life for the contemplative or spiritual path, and no longer taking the easy way out but getting energetically involved in some difficult enterprise.  We talk as well about no longer being competitive or combative and being cooperative instead.  So what we are talking about is turning points.

Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions?  –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT CARDS READING
Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Quit Fighting Love (Ace of Cups + Five of Wands + Eight of Cups)

Better days ahead for love; no more fighting.

Getting to be unconditional love, no more resistance.

Abandons all effort to get out of being in love.

No longer avoiding the big effort love takes.

When you quit fighting love, it gets better.

Being in love means giving up the action all of a sudden.

At the last minute, doesn’t leave after all, but makes an effort to be loving.

The Spiritual Path (Ace of Cups + Eight of Cups)

The fight is out of (him), he is going to be a man of peace.

The path of godliness is a big difficult gradual change.

No longer am I avoiding the good fight.

I fought against the religious path until I put all these things behind me.

Putting effort into the journey of a religious pilgrimage.

Won’t be doing some activities any more, gave them up for the spiritual life.

I’ve been out of the action for some time now and into spiritual realities.

As I become contemplative, I get out of being active.

Drop out of the rat race and head for the simple life.

My path is to ease out of the comfortable ways and jump into the battle.

Trying to get away from it all, drop out and be spiritual.

Quits struggling and leaves for a peaceful place.

The hard part is behind you; you are into peaceful waters all of a sudden.

Making an effort to be good is making a change for the better.

A sudden change for the best as I try hard to put the past behind.

Quit Trying so Hard (Five of Wands + Eight of Cups)

Get out before they start fighting, and you’ll be fine.

Don’t even try: It’s so easy, it’s over with before it begins.

It wasn’t even a competition, it was easy to put them out of the running.

Quit trying so hard and things will be much easier from then on.

(He) isn’t being cooperative anymore, he just quit trying.

It isn’t easy anymore, so I don’t try.

Easing into better times and not fighting it anymore.

Drifts into being cooperative and quits fighting it.

Gave up being good, dropped out to fight with the boys.

Difficult when you first start (Five of Wands + Eight of Cups)

It’s really hard when you first start but easier as it’s almost over.

Difficult to break into and easy to flunk out of.

Hard at the beginning and easy phasing out.

If you just quit fighting it and go with the flow, you will survive it.

It was easy to get out of there but beginning over will take some doing.

Drop out of the competition and do something easier from now on.

So easy to put this behind now that the fight is over.

So easy to put this behind now that the hard part is over.

Changes for my Health (Ace of Cups + Eight of Cups)

Won’t be doing some activities any more, gave them up for my health.

Start exercising for healthier times.

Getting into relaxing and out of being combative.

Health is going to be better; the struggle is over.

Health isn’t as bad as it was – am making a huge effort to change my ways.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Eight of Cups
Ace of Cups – Six of Swords – Five of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Two of our panelists are on their way out: Six of Swords is phasing out of a difficult situation, is in the process of putting it behind (and is easing into better times); Eight of Cups makes an abrupt change of course and drops one direction for another.

So what do our other two representatives have to say? Ace of Cups has several chapters to its dictionary: Mainly ‘all good and no harm.’ It is one of the Christian-based cards from the Middle Ages: See the wafer and the dove? The flow of divine spirit enlivening one’s five senses is less obvious, but that is what that is all about. This fount you see there is probably from Ste. Teresa d’Avila’s ‘Interior Castle,’ the premiere tome of Western mysticism according to most university textbooks. So Ace of Cups brings up God, spiritual life, godliness, health, goodness, cooperation, a flow, love and unconditional love, religious path, contemplative life, peace and ease. By extension, relaxation, going along with, for the best, easy.

The other representative on our panel, Five of Wands, is putting energy and effort into activity. Up comes, by extension, trying hard, fighting, struggling, battle, competing or competitive or competition. Sports come up right here, don’t they? Something is hard to do, as well.

So we have trying hard versus relaxing and going with the flow (Five of Wands vs Ace of Cups. We have leaving vs cutting that short (Six of Swords and Eight of Cups). We have love vs fighting (Ace of Cups vs Five of Wands). We have ‘quit trying’ in Eight of Cups + Five of Wands and we have ‘not being good or not cooperating anymore’ in Ace of Cups + Six of Swords. A lot of room for contrasts today!

So Ace of Cups brings up God, spiritual life, godliness, health, goodness, cooperation, a flow, love and unconditional love, religious path, contemplative life, peace and ease. Six of Swords Phasing out of a difficult situation in the process of putting it behind is easing into better times. Is that a widow and her child leaving some conflict in the boat paddled away by a kind stranger, or is it a refugee family escaping? The worst is over, the future will be better but will be better because the past was sooo bad. The word ‘anymore’ comes up a lot for this Rider Waite Tarot card in the Tarot Verbatim ™ system. It reminds me of an old old country song that howls ‘It don’t hurt anymore.’
Five of Wands throws energy and effort into an activity. Trying hard, struggling for or against, fighting for or against, a battle. Those five guys whacking one another with boards could be doing it for sport or competition. Something is hard (difficult) to do (effort). Trying and trying hard. ‘Action,’ including its slang. The rat race, being combative, being against.
Eight of Cups makes an abrupt change of course and drops one direction for another. Drops out, gives up. In the illustration, the change is due to external circumstances: The road doesn’t go that way right now. So this change can be temporary. The change is abrupt and defined: It is not a gradual phasing out or a considered option but is a sudden change. Something is over, and we are getting into something else – out of one thing and into another. An end and a beginning: See the two phases of the moon conjoined there?

Everything you wrote under Quit Fighting Love applies to my situation. I saw him yesterday and indeed, he looked like he was giving into his feelings . Thank you.

Better days ahead for love; no more fighting.
Getting to be unconditional love, no more resistance.

    That would be lovely!
    Have a wonderful day everybody!

    • You too, Lori.
Today is a consciousness of turning points. I feel human consciousness and human history … those are very related … this past week went into a major turn. Synopsis: The good guys are winning but the cheerleaders have not been called in quite yet.
