Advice A vision that what everybody is convinced of is not true. He does not have the same ideas as the folks do; he is mindful of that. I don’t want to be any type of people, my focus is higher consciousness than that. Sense how organizations block our individual ambitions. Realize you are not family to this ruffian. Group consciousness isn’t focused. Not going to be stubborn about it, realize most people are like that.

Is this the first time you come here?   Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Readings below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Hanged Man
Knight of Pentacles – Four of Wands – Four of Cups

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Not Belonging to the Group (Four of Wands + Four of Cups)

Very strong focus or awareness that I don’t belong, I am not one of them.

He does not have the same ideas as the folks do; he is mindful of that.

The people who have this consciousness make sure they don’t admit it.

Not going to be stubborn about it, realize most people are like that.

One thing is for sure, you instinctively reject the whole social-register bit.

I don’t want to be any type of people, my focus is higher consciousness than that.

Adamantly refuses to join the organization, just has a feeling about it.

Deliberately keeps an open mind and isn’t a member of any camp.

You have to deny you are psychic when you are around the family.

He has an intense desire and ambition to renounce his citizenship.

Aim to keep an open mind and not join the clans.

Very focused psychic impression that you are not going to divulge to them.

Realize you are not family to this ruffian.

Groups that Reject/Obstruct (Four of Wands + Four of Cups)

Realize how these people are in the way of what you have in mind to do.

Realize you are not going to get the family/the people in your circle to see it this way.

Sense how organizations block our individual ambitions.

The Establishment focuses on you not being aware.

You have a feeling this obsessed guy isn’t your kind.

The people are against his self-promotion, they are aware.

Realize one thing is for sure: The social-register folks reject you.

Those types of people are strongly against this, I can feel it.

Realize you are not family to this ruffian.

Group Consciousness (Four of Wands + Hanged Man)

Psychics as a class do not have drive and ambition.

Focus on what the mainstream is not aware of.

Group consciousness is not a driving ambition.

Group consciousness is not about just one thing.

Group consciousness isn’t focused.

A vision that what everybody is convinced of is not true.

Those types of people are strongly against this, I can feel it.

The people who have this consciousness make sure they don’t admit it.

Not going to be stubborn about it, realize most people are like that.

Aware most people reject what you believe ardently.

He Knows How to Make Them Say ‘No’ (Knight of Pentacles + Four of Cups)

He has a feel for knowing what will motivate the masses negatively.

He zeroes in on whatever he intuits people don’t want to hear, and only that.

Motivating people to reject an idea instinctively.

He is the first person we all don’t want to think about.

Realize people are either all-for or all-against things.

Obsessive People (Knight of Pentacles + Four of Wands)

Everybody denies being obsessive, based on their own perspective.

He is a dedicated member of the Whatever, his mind is not open.

If you feel you are fanatic, you are not one of them.

My feeling is that everybody but me is obsessed about this.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Say hello back!  Comment!  I spend two hours a day or more writing these to you.  Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it.  Read others’ comments.

Hanged Man
Knight of Pentacles – Four of Wands – Four of Cups

Knight of Pentacles and Hanged Man are both about awareness. Knight of Pentacles is a bit of a ruffian who is obsessive about one thing, whereas Hanged Man has acres of open mind waiting for landings of unidentified craft. Knight of Pentacles has bought into some issue ‘lock, stock and barrel’ whereas Hanged Man is still tuning in to the whole subject. Knight of Pentacles is the fanatic, is self-interested and driven.

The next two cards taken together mean people (Four of Wands) aren’t interested, want nothing to do with it. Four of Wands is a group of people who have a group consciousness, a ‘we’ feeling about whatever their affiliations are, especially people who consider themselves the cream of their society or superior in some way – you know, one group has the right flavor of God and gets to look down on those other ones that don’t believe the same way, and so on. And Four of Cups is rejecting no matter how many times it comes up.

So that is our main theme here today: people-groups and their consciousness; but of course we also speak of persons whose focus is to not get into this kind of mentality, who aim to keep an open mind and not join the clans.

Knight of Pentacles Here’s the campaign manager, the fellow with the religious pamphlets, your neighbor that missionaries for beer and wants you to buy his brand of vehicle next time. He is full of himself, energetic, focused to the obsessive point, very strong and the physical type – Don Johnson. He often looks sturdy, dark and short with an energetic voice, just as he is pictured here, and just as his horse is pictured here. You see him on infomercials and see him in webinars as the marketeering guru.

BUT this is also the persistence, the strong focus, the being mindful and even stubborn when you know one thing is for sure and you adamantly, deliberately have to. This is the individualist’s ambition and drive. This is zeroing in. This is the pioneer. Pioneers don’t belong on the assembly line.

Four of Wands The institution or organization and its members have a ‘we’ consciousness. The society wedding pictured in this Rider Waite Tarot card has a public aspect, an outdoor show. Its members could have a lot in common with Knight of Pentacles, the True Believer in … anything.

Four of Wands is the ‘us’ in ‘us and them.’ Four of Wands is citizenship, belonging, people who are ‘family’ to one another. It is also the Establishment, the mainstream, sometimes even the masses.

Four of Cups isn’t having any. “I don’t drink,” as one glass after another is offered. Not going to. Reject. What part of ‘no’ don’t you understand?
Today Four of Cups is ‘not a member,’ doesn’t have the same ideas, doesn’t want to be . Doesn’t want to divulge. He renounces, he does not join, is not a member of this family, ‘I’m not one of them.’ He isn’t your kind, is against this, and is blocked as an individual. ‘Everybody but me.’ He also stands for the ‘negatively’ of ‘negatively motivate. He is also being rejected by the folks; Tarot is almost always reversible in actions.
Hanged Man usually simply means ‘realize.’ Aware. Tuning into and being turned on. The business of consciousness and awareness as a pursuit. Higher consciousness, psychic impressions, telepathy, sensing and having a feeling or gut (visceral) instinct about something. Intuits. Instinctively. One’s perspective. Feeling, feeling you are. An open mind that operates as a vacuum.

The curious illustration on Hanged Man is about the feeling you have when deja-vu or eureka realizations hit you, or you have a sudden vivid realization full blown: You feel upside down, feel reality distort as your brain sorts and sifts everything around to accommodate this file.

  1. Sue

    Hi Emily,
This fits better than you could know. Tonight’s stuff was about people we’d consider criminals. But they seemed strangely innocent to me, like a herd of wild animals who just happened to prey on society. They were warm, bringing food to hungry children, caring for each other. They even sprayed to mark their territory, like a dog or cat.
Yesterday we were at one of those start up cookie companies in a nice section of town, the kind run by a mom who’s trying to look after her kids and work at the same time. She got frustrated and snapped at them. But Mr. criminal’s kids messed with things. He laughed and told them to stop so gently.
They die young and go to jail, but they’re trying to support their families, and it seemed like they were doing it for love. They’re used being bonded together in a herd. I don’t think they could be happy with a “civilized” life, at least not the way it is over here.
So they seem wild to me, not the crazy wild of somebody who parties too much, but wild like a pride of lions or a wolf pack.

    • You write poetry, Sue. That is a beautiful story, the contrast there. Thank you. You should have a journal that you write it. It would sell. I can help you do it. This could be expanded into a short-story article. Your book will be called Sue’s Shorts.
