Our Daily Spread March 21, 2012 Wednesday©

Guidance The worst of times often inspire the best of times. Nothing like hitting bottom to bounce back. We see opportunities most clearly when doom is looking in our window. A direct correlation between energetically pursuing success and getting the heck out of the way of failure. That’s all we are about today, except some pithy observations about fast women on the road to hell.

Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions?  –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Wheel of Fortune
Moon – Knight of Wands – Three of Cups

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Clouds with Silver Linings (Moon + Wheel of Fortune)

Miraculous outcome to celebrate regarding a disability: You’re on your way.

People who get themselves out of the ghetto go on to greater things and associate with people who are good for one another.

Just when things are at their darkest, a wonderful chance to network on the fast track.

Your cloud has a silver lining, you will be celebrating pretty quickly.

A supernatural miracle whizzes by when you are engrossed in social life.

Chances you take when you are desperate pay off quickly.

I am so happy for the miracle that got me out of the trouble.

Happy for my chance to get out of here before it gets worse.

Pursuing Opportunities (Knight of Wands + Wheel of Fortune)

The best thing we ever did was get away to make it on our own.

You can freak out and run away or you can join us for an opportunity.

After what we have been through, let’s team up and make something good happen.

That was the best time we ever had together, it was GREAT; the man is running scared.

Our joint venture gets out of the doldrums fast and pays off handsomely.

Pursue the opportunities you meet when times are worst.

Women in the Fast Lane (Knight of Wands + Three of Cups)

Pursuing her was a mistake that did happen.

His big chance to chase all the wrong women.

The road to hell is paved with fast women and fast money if you’re lucky.

The best days of his life are the time he spent with those women: He got out of addiction.

A horrible thing is wonderful because it got him out of his partying.

The girls’ vice is gambling at the racetrack.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Say hello back!  Comment!  Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it.  Read others’ comments.

Wheel of Fortune
Moon – Knight of Wands – Three of Cups

These four tend to get in the way of one another: Over and over, I discarded sentences because one card or a pair canceled out the meaning for the rest of them.

Moon and Wheel of Fortune mean the worst and the best, respectively of course. Doom and luck …. Knight of Wands is to speed ahead (or to run from) with great energy – to be gung-ho or to flee. Three of Cups is to enjoy, share, celebrate together.

The story is obvious: Get out of trouble, pursue an opportunity to share good times with good people. I’ll drink to that with the Three of Cups.

Moon The Left-hand Path is depicted. The full moon illuminates a coyote and dog howling together (coyotes kill and eat dogs), a purple lobster going on a land journey, two towers associated somehow with evil … a bad scene that could be titled the road to hell (Left-hand Path). So Moon means horrible, wrong, sickness, vice, the worst, evil …. “The worst card in the deck.”
Knight of Wands is ‘getting out of Dodge’ or pursuing – either one. He looks more like he is fleeing: See his expression, and the fact his horse is rearing up? Today he usually means ‘get out of,’ fast, chase and pursue.
Three of Cups Sharing good times with good people. Profiting from one’s labor and sharing its proceeds with coworkers. Depicted are girls sharing the harvest of their farm they have worked on together on. They also are party girls you meet on that road we speak of.
Wheel of Fortune Chance and opportunity are its frequent phrases. Miraculous, miracle, wonderful and lucky are runners-up. Today we have some newish ones: greater things, silver lining, best thing we ever, something good happen, best time, it was GREAT, pays off handsomely, best days and gambling. It isn’t meaning ‘destiny’ today. The illustration is as occult as Moon’s: The wheel (presumably of reincarnation) has the Hebrew Name of God (which figures prominently in some forms of magic), and ‘ROTA,’ an occult word. (Promise I’ll look it up someday.) It has various occult creatures, several of whom have books. The red lizard is a bad guy.

Well, I just want to say, I like Tarot Talks more and more, and I hope you do some more of that, Emily. I am really starting to get it, looking at your sentences and the meanings. I had done a self tarot reading tonight, and I can see that one of the meanings is “thinking does not get it done”. And you know 3 of the cards I got, just with that sentence. I need some more card meanings though, and is an 11 card spread too much for interpretation? As for your flu, have you tried boiling fresh ginger and then drinking it as a tea? Usually works for everyone, but the sooner you do it, the better. May take a few times now. Hope you feel better.

    • As to ginger, I eat the candied ginger all day every day, and I put ginger extract in honey and lime (with cognac at night). (Did you know pineapple absorbs ginger flavoring when you cook the two together? – great in rice.

I will start doing Tarot Talks. No one commented there, and it is work, so I quit. Will do it and see if people participate there. Someday I will have a video class that teaches Tarot Verbatim.

As to a full spread, I think that is too involved for the casual reader, and someone would have to set up the format, the template, for that to happen. There is more to it than you would think, especially in my system where it’s a 13-card spread divided into three sentences that repeat and support one another to the degree the answer is accurate. That brings up theme cards … more than most people would ever want to contemplate!

Midweek and todays spread hit a homer.

    • A homer on hump day. Thank you for the report. Tomorrow is Luv. Stories, situations, frilly mundane stuff.

I think Sue said as I thought it.

    How are you feeling?

Hi Emily. The spreads are changing. Lately it seems like the guidance section has turned almost into philosophy more than a prediction. I like them and I think that’s good, but maybe first people want to see something more concrete like a weather report. Maybe something like:

Today things are going to go downhill. There are going to be setbacks, but it’s setting you up for something good, so don’t worry. It’s temporary. Be careful of going too fast today. I dunno though. Any news on the dogs?

well, that’s what today’s messages are about: Miraculous outcome to celebrate regarding a disability: You’re on your way.

Your cloud has a silver lining, you will be celebrating pretty quickly.

After what we have been through, let’s team up and make something good happen.

“The worst of times inspire the best of times.” That’s what that says – it’s about bouncing back.

I am reading the Rider Waite Tarot illustrations literally and verbatim, so rephrasing is limited.

Tomorrow is ro-mance. Sagas. No philosophy. I suspect some of the philosophy is about conditions we are living through regarding the cannibal bankers and et cetera.

Two of the dogs were turned in anonymously to the pound when I put a report on our one radio station everyone listens to. Tina the black puppy is still gone. Louise’s collar was stolen, and someone cut some of her fur off (attempted grooming). Ginger hid for half a day when she came back. Louise has some nicks where she may have been in a fight (a short one: Louise is incredibly fierce when aroused).

My flu is still hanging on. No one has picked the medicine up at the pharmacy.
