Guidance The distinction between physical and other planes may be too finely drawn: Actions oftentimes arise from psychological (mental plane) and intuitive (spiritual plane) inspiration. When what we do is informed by a more whole reality, we are likely to accomplish our purpose with less effort, expending less energy. We may find ourselves saying just the right words and touching just the right nerves without any deliberation we are aware of.

Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

High Priestess
Strength – Magician – Six of Swords

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Spiritual Victories (Strength + High Priestess)

Getting yourself to do something when you are procrastinating is a spiritual victory.

When you act on the spiritual plane, you bypass handling the physical issue.

She overcomes on the spiritual plane, doesn’t take any physical action.

She triumphs over adversity through spiritual expertise without doing anything herself.

Applying psychological force, avoiding direct actions.

Make it happen by spiritual means, by clearing opposition out of there.

She Doesn’t Physically Take Action; He Does (High Priestess + Magician)

Passive lady, active man, she doesn’t lay hands on things.

As the expert, she got him started, and he is on his way.

She put him up to doing this when she is safely out of the way.

She knows what he does, but she doesn’t handle it anymore.

He voluntarily does for her so she doesn’t have to handle it herself.

She knows he is doing it; she doesn’t have to do it herself.

He is the one who puts her behind him, but she prompted him to do it.

She keeps him from harming her until she isn’t there any more.

She gets him to leave the other woman.

As long as she is there pressuring him, he will avoid doing that.

She won without doing anything herself.

The passive lady has the upper hand by avoiding doing anything at all.

The dominant female doesn’t take any direct action.

She can do (it) herself but she avoids being assertive.

She is passive, she avoids asserting herself; he does that.

He executes her concepts, she avoids the hands-on part.

The Lady Handles the Problem (Strength + High Priestess)

The lady handles the problem, the man doesn’t have to do anything.

Her quiet victory: He isn’t around anymore.

She doesn’t make him do anything anymore.

She deals firmly with him for what he did when she was out of town.

She makes him leave; she stays.

She quietly stifles (their) opposition to what he is doing until it’s over.

She is doing what her man is not there any longer to do.

The covert opponents withdraw when she takes direct physical action.

She solves the problem by getting him to leave the other woman.

The passive gals assert themselves before it’s over.

She waits for him to act; when he avoids that, she takes over.

She acts for herself and avoids pressuring anyone else.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

High Priestess
Strength – Magician – Six of Swords

Both Strength and Six of Swords are about avoiding a bad scene. Strength nips opposition in the bud, and Six of Swords is leaving to survive another day, escaping. Both these cards are reassuring: Things are going to be okay ahead.

Strength and Magician each is actively achieving a project. Strength has her hands on something that would have been a problem to prevent it; Magician is in the act of getting something done, also hands-on.

Magician and High Priestess complement one another: Magician as the male principle is active; High Priestess as the female principle is receptive and means knowing or expertise. (This distinction harkens back to the concept in occultism that to be active on one plane is to be receptive on another in order to connect the two up, to get something done.) In a reading, what usually happens is: The guy is doing something the woman is behind in some way, or she knows what he is doing.

Strength and High Priestess are spiritual cards. (They are also both female, of course.)

Strength is about being so strong of character that you repel trouble – kind of like how you walk assertively enough on a potentially dangerous street. Strength prevents. It is true that mooches and bullies read people to decide who to lunch upon.

High Priestess isn’t physical; she is the scholar, the guru, the expert or teacher. (She is knowing itself, just as Magician is action itself.) In a reading, she is staying in a place, she is sedentary, she is ladylike, she is quiet, and she is keeping knowledge to herself, or keeping a secret.

Strength, Magician and High Priestess all are associated with higher-plane activity. That cluster is unusual.

Strength fixes a situation, hands-on. She nips opposition in the bud by being who she is: a person capable of handling this situation. She makes people or entities harmless if they are a threat, she makes people behave according to her standards. She is take-charge and strongly associated with the spiritual plane. The lion came at her to roar and stayed to purr because she is Strength.
Magician sometimes simply calls up the male pronoun or the word ‘man’ or ‘male.’ It also evokes all forms of the verbs ‘do’ and ‘make.’ You can think of this card as ‘male who does’ or ‘make it happen.’ It means action and activity too. To bring about or create, to bring down. Illustration shows the upraised wand in the hand of the magician, the tools of the ceremony on his table, depicted as the suits of the Tarot.
Six of Swords There’s only one way to go when you’re all the way down, and that’s up. That is the core meaning of Six of Swords: leaving the dismal scene for a better day, a better place. Withdrawing to fight another day. A friend drives her and her child out of there in his boat, as refugees: clothes on their back type thing. Its most common words are ‘avoid’ and ‘leave.’ ‘Delay’ and its synonyms are common as well. Here are some of its today meanings: procrastinating, bypass, clear out of, on his way, out of the way, doesn’t anymore, puts behind, isn’t there any more, without doing anything, out of town, until it’s over.
High Priestess High Priestess as the female principle is receptive (passive) on the physical plane, and means knowing or expertise. She is active on the spiritual (and mental) plane, and therefore often means ‘spiritual.’ It often calls up ‘she.’ This is the quiet woman, the person behind something, a backer. Emphasis is on knowing and knowing secrets. Illustrated as a seated woman with a spiritual book and all sorts of occult symbols around her. She is the knower, the expert, the guru about anything. She is quiet, she stays and is sedentary. She waits. That last meaning somehow calls her up to the ‘the other woman’ in love spreads.
