Our Daily Spread March 31, 2012 Saturday©

GUIDANCE:  Do you want to have fun, or do you want to be taken seriously?  You can’t always have it both ways.  Do you want to be in on the deal you have to do your part in – or out?  Are you aware that people who don’t know about doing their part are dealt with as kids in the grownup world?  There comes a time you realize the distinction and decide (one way or the other).

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Three of Pentacles – Nine of Cups – Page of Cups

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

What relationship? (Three of Pentacles + Page of Cups)

This is such a satisfying relationship, why would I leave?

I don’t know why I want to have a relationship with such a baby.

Me in a relationship with someone who wants a kid?

Now why was it I wanted to leave the relationship?

What’s this about a relationship? – I just want a fling.

What kind of a relationship do you want with (your) child?

They want to have a relationship and be free of it too – strange.

Wanting Out (Nine of Cups + Sun)

How can I get out of doing my part and still get what I want?

Why would you want to get out of such a profitable deal?

What kind of settlement do you want, for you to be the one to leave home?

What would make you happy; what do you want to settle the case?

Glad to be free of dealing with idiots.

I guess what I really want is to be free of dealing with them.

Name your price in a lawsuit about an impaired youngster.

Wanting In On the Deal (Three of Pentacles + Nine of Cups)

I’m so happy, I can’t believe how well we made out on the purchase.

I guess you’re happy: You got your price at the real estate closing.

How charming do I have to be for people to want to include me?

Everybody wants to meet the funloving goofball.

What I really want is to put the stupid stuff behind and be on the team.

Your kid has the strange idea you agree to whatever (he) wants.

Why do they want to meet after I leave the place?

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Say hello back!  Comment!  Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it.  Read others’ comments.

Three of Pentacles – Nine of Cups – Page of Cups

Lighthearted stories. Right in the middle is having exactly what you want, Nine of Cups. (Hi, Nine.)

To the left is the Three of Pentacles relationship or deal or agreement or meeting (or contract) – people who deal with one another taking one another seriously, and who do their part in whatever it is they all have in mind. (Grownups.)

To the right is the Page of Cups, a ‘duh’ card that often puts the material into question form, that means a goofball or idiot or impaired person. We are not using its other meanings.

Over them all is Sun who is free, released from, happy, a brat or charming-baby-boy type playboy, who is leaving. (We aren’t using some of his other aspects today.)

Three of Pentacles The architect demonstrates to his clients that he followed the blueprint for their building, the final inspection before his final and largest draw (payment). This card is about settling up, making a deal, agreeing, each party doing his part, being one of the team, a contract, or, most often, a relationship.

Nine of Cups This is the guy you want to see: Your Wish is Granted – in any deck. Here we have the rotund safunsified fellow who ate and drank it all and is happy and satisfied. I got it my way.

Page of Cups Huh? Duh. Page of Cups is dressed in a miniskirt with boots and carries a fish in a cup. A scarf hangs from his foreign headgear. Yes, he is a defective unit, a strange fellow. He often puts the surrounding Rider Waite Tarot cards into question form.

Sun Happy to be free of the house rules, having slipped into the horse pen naked to play recklessly with the evil-eyed pony. Yes, the kid is having the time of his … short … life. This is the playboy, the ‘I just want to have fun’ fellow, the spoiled child.

Good advice….guess sometimes we must state the obvious! This is especially true for me!

    Hi Emily,
The March 31 spread was very illuminating for me. I asked how a close neighbor felt about me and was quite shocked at first; after a little contemplation it made some sense. I decided that I had butted in where I shouldn’t have. Glad to learn the lesson today instead of later. It was really great to have tarotverbatim speak to me like that. Thanks for your help.

Hi Emily, I sent for an email reading Thursday the 28th, I was wondering what the response time is.

    • Tomorrow. I have a backlog of them because of the flu. Each day’s blog takes a whole day (between tasks) to do because my concentration isn’t what it usually is. (I’m usually two or three days ahead of blogs.) Also I get really sleepy and take naps.
I think tomorrow I should be able to do the emails and a blog. It’s been three weeks now!
Thank you for your patience, Candy.

      • Ok. But I wanted 2 tell u its the 3rd email. The love question, thank u and I hope u feel better a 100%.

  4. Sue

Haha : ) today’s spread is making me more responsible already. Thank you Emily – I want to have fun doing my part.

    • This is so true. When a person’s perspective does not match the world view of the people around him or her, those people wall themselves off from the … weirdo, or bookworm, or whatever dismissive label they choose to apply. The person ostracized often does not know – at least fully consciously – that “I’m not one of them.”
