Guidance  Today is about the image or face a person adopts as his/her public persona, and how real or not-real it is. “Be a grownup man and see that it’s time to leave the tennis-pro image behind.” “He has the guts to tell you the truth before he leaves.” The official story told by whoever is in authority tends to head some other way than  the facts. “I’m bigger than you, that’s why,” parents used to say. Are we avoiding standing up like a grownup for what we can plainly see?

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Six of Swords – King of Swords – Hermit

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Not that Type of Person Anymore (Six of Swords + Page of Wands)

Be a grownup man and see that it’s time to leave the tennis-pro image behind.

He is not the unbending type he used to be; his style is now realistic.

He is an old man, not his strong young self anymore.

Don’t be authoritative anymore, just assume a supportive stance.

I’m not good-looking anymore, I’m an old man now.

Watch the young fella go through the phase of being a grown up man.

Avoid being the nice-guy when it is wiser to take authority.

Truth be told, the manly man no longer has a good reputation.

Used to be a sober upstanding powerful man.

The Official Story (King of Swords + Page of Wands)

People don’t say it the way they see it anymore; they look to The Man.

The power people say something is true, and people head off in that direction.

Authorities avoid telling the truth.

Tell it like it is after the boss-man leaves.

We avoid standing up like a grownup for what we can plainly see.

When the power people say that, you can see it’s time to move on out.

What the authorities say has enlightened us to go the other way.

It’s a fact the police did tell (us) to leave.

Authoritative Guide (King of Swords + Hermit)

He is the man who knows and can tell us how to leave the past behind.

He has the power to tell you the objective view, putting all else aside.

Authoritative guide to going out of body.

The doctor says you will get better, and he is the authority on that.

Police (King of Swords)

Police say he evaded the surveillance.

Authorities search for the body of someone who was left behind.

Telling honest people to avoid the police.

The young man has left town and the authorities are looking for him.

The leader who is leaving shows the apprentice the way.

Went on with my life the wiser leaving daddy and son behind.

He is man enough to tell you the truth before he leaves.

Leader left to go look into something, the spokesperson says. (“fact-finding mission”)

Now, Part Two,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Page of Wands
Six of Swords – King of Swords – Hermit

Guys galore in today’s message: the cop (King of Swords), the monk (Hermit) and the tennis pro (Page of Wands).

Both Six of Swords and Hermit are traveling. Six of Swords is leaving this dismal place for something better, and Hermit is coming to help. Six of Swords can be by boat and Hermit can be by foot or by land.

Both Hermit and Page of Wands are honest types. Hermit is on the path, is associated with truth and honesty, and is virtuous. Page of Wands is the clean-cut well-spoken and well-dressed good-looking young man type. He is the young apprentice; Hermit is the seasoned veteran. He is the student; Hermit is the teacher.

King of Swords is the military man, man of discipline, the grown-up, the cop or authority or soldier (or commanding officer) – the manly man. King of Swords is the leader of the man-pack, the man most men want to be.

Six of Swords is putting something behind you and heading into something else. Usually, you are leaving a bad scene and better times are ahead. It is traveling over water.

The truth … to stand up for it … authority … to head the other way: Those are the four cards today.

Six of Swords Leaving a place or a life or a person behind, better days being ahead simply because they can’t get worse. The picture says it all: A dejected woman and child are passengers in an open crude boat in shallow water. Phrases for today are: time to leave, not the __ he used to be, not his self __ anymore, Don’t be __ anymore, go through, avoid, no longer, used to be, don’t __ anymore, head off in __ direction, After __ leaves, time to move on out, leave the past behind, putting all else aside, going out of, evaded, left behind, left town, went on leaving __ behind, left to go.

King of Swords The military man, man of discipline, the grown-up, the cop or authority or soldier (or commanding officer) – the manly man. King of Swords is the leader of the man-pack, the man most men want to be, the man other men follow instinctively.

Hermit The monk casts a light on his path as he searches for travelers to help them. The phrases today for him are see, realistic, old man, supportive stance, watch, wiser, truth, sober, the way they see it, something is true, like it is, you can see, it’s a fact, man who knows, objective view, guide, doctor, surveillance, search, honest people, looking for him, shows the way, look into something.

Page of Wands A good-looking well-dressed young man earnestly speaks, standing up straight, with a pole in his hand that might indicate he has the right to talk. He has a clean-cut honest appearance, and is looking vain. His phrases today are: tennis pro, his style, his young self, assume a stance, good-looking, young fella, nice guy, good reputation, upstanding man, say it the way, say something, telling/tell it/say that/tell us, body, apprentice, son, spokesperson.

Did a city council meeting today. Could totally see this.

  2. Billijo did not put the cards on today. Probably Monday’s will post late in the afternoon when she gets to work here … evening for most of you.

And today did not get posted because the widget did not change to April 1. Grrrr….

    • Lori

It’s ok Emily, gave me something to look forward to 🙂

    • Anna

Glad to know you’re all right and it was just a widget thing. Cards are accurate today.

      • Thank you, Lori, and thank you, Anna, for your concern. Today I am sleepy and tired … for about the third or fourth day. This congestion is trying to mark a turf here. So clumsy! Takes all day to do a blog, but today I did two! – progress.

To those of you I owe Email readings to: I am headed there now.

Tina, I think, is gone forever. We have looked, and it’s been too long for her to be surviving in the wild. So she’s either adopted or deceased.

        • Lori

          So sorry about Tina Turner!

          • Thank you, Lori. I had the feeling that she would be gone from here as a puppy. She never left the yard and was a member of the dog pack in good standing, so I doubted the feeling. Flukes happen: She ran after Louise when Louse went on a tear. Tina would be here if she had not gone with Louise that day on Louise’s run. (You don’t ‘walk’ Great Pyrenees.)
