Guidance  Things get to you – the job, the children – but the good life goes on in spite of whatever aggravates or grieves you. Haunted by the past, you work it out day by day. Your childhood, or other childish or dependent people, are stressful. We contrast your good life to your aggravations over and over until we get it.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Six of Cups
Nine of Swords – Eight of Pentacles – Eight of Wands

Six of Cups is so flexible that it makes for many sentences. It means children, romance, trust, the good life, an old house, to give or receive, favors and gifts, memories and nostalgia … the good old days. Its positive influence is very strong.

And all that good feeling is magnified further by Eight of Pentacles and Eight of Wands. Eight of Pentacles, besides meaning work and things related to that subject, means over and over, steadily and working on something. Eight of Wands also means over and over, and besides that means more and more.

Party-pooper extraordinaire Nine of Swords just blew in the door to skew our lovely scene. Well, it’s now about carrying on a good life in spite of stress, grief, aggravation, worry and lack of sleep.

Nine of Swords gets to you. Up nights crying. Grief and stress and aggravation. You don’t need the book to see its meaning. There’s a dude or dudess, hands to head in the classical headache position, sitting up in bed in the middle of the night.
Eight of Pentacles Work, workplace, employee(s), labor, working at or on something. Doing something over and over, steadily and deliberately. Keeping at it. The carpenter is at his bench producing one pentacle after another, a patient and attentive look on his face.
Eight of Wands The boards flying in the air look like text lines, and this is about any kind of communication. It is also about one thing after another, repeated (in spite of the fact this particular batch of boards were released at the same time).
Six of Cups shows Little Boy giving Little Girl flowers in front of either an estate or an apartment that is an old castle-like building (with a sagging roof). The colors are pastel, the sky is clear blue, the children are well-dressed for cool weather. So by Six of Cups, we mean children, romance, trust, the good life, an old house, to give or receive, favors and gifts, memories and nostalgia … the good old days.

Hi you guys. I wish I had something to report, but I’m too tired to think. Maybe it’s the spread applying itself.

    • The spread talks about stumbling through life feeling ‘down looking up’ as the up part is a program running in the background, which we can catch up to later when we … grow up?

  2. Anna

I don’t know if the crying one about a potential love affair is him or me 🙂

    • Whenever we wonder
      which of two
      we need include
      ‘both of the above’
      ‘neither of the above’
      in our choices.

This is one of the shards of wisdom I encountered in my younger meanderings.

“The good life goes on in spite of it”, great words!

    • It’s a good perspective. Bumps in the road are part of the structure of life, so to speak. Today’s message fascinated me.
