Guidance Meeting The One is scary. Running away happens. But what a life a loving romantic man has with the woman who has it all, when he does pursue. Let’s gun the engine and get over that scary hump. We speak of getting help over the hard part in love and in business.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

The Empress

Knight of Wands, Knight of Cups, The Moon

Know how you pay especial attention to someone who ‘looks like trouble’? Yesterday, Five of Swords showed up; he’s ‘one of them.’ Well, Moon is considered ‘worst card in the deck,’ and ‘worst’ is one of its core meanings. Problem. Trouble. A malefic. Knight of Wands + Moon, for example, could be ‘the road to hell,’ speeding on it.

Moon is not in bad company, other than its own, today, so its worst meanings are still in the trunk.

Knight of Cups is the Good Guy. Empress (among her many other titles) is a laid-back (easygoing) person, the kind of basically well-intentioned personality that grows up in good places. So Knight of Cups and Empress make a healthy couple – the sort of couple where he adores his beautiful bride/goddess, and she is spoiled enjoying all that.

Knight of Wands is to pursue, and sometimes to run away; it mainly means hurrying, speeding, and putting energy and gusto into (whatever).

So our story is about the couple, and about getting out of some difficulty, unless the boy is running from his love of his honey.

Knight of Wands About pursuit and energetically getting ahead; conversely, about escape and leaving. Put him next to a beautiful woman (Empress) and he majors in pursuing – especially when the Boyfriend card is right next door too. His picture is of a knight whose horse is rearing up as the knight is in such a hurry. He looks fearful to me.
Knight of Cups Color him Boyfriend. “He’s sooo cute,” girls coo. This is that guy. His horse looks like a merry-go-round one, and he has Mercury’s wings on his helmet. He extends the ‘cup of friendship.’ He is the communicator, the good guy, the helpful friend or assistant.
Moon illustrates ‘the Left-Hand Path,’ which is an occult-speak euphemism for evil. Dog and Coyote together, Lobster on a land journey (purple, too), and those towers are bad news items from some story. Moon instructs a reader to use nearby cards’ darker meanings. (Today’s cards are exempt.) Its main words are problem, trouble, fear or scary, bad/evil, difficult/difficulty, bad times.
Empress Fertility goddesses had (like all gods and people) their good and their bad sides. Empress is all those goddesses lumped together: the ideal woman and the slut, the resource and the kept woman … and so on. You look to see who she’s hanging out with to know who she’s being today. Today she is the laid-back easygoing good-looking female counterpart of the Good Guy.

For the MOON, I normally think–delusional, confused, things aren’t what they seem, a Cancer, etc… but nothing too nefarious. Is it really the worst card in the deck?? Worse than 10 of swords, 3 of swords & DEATH?

    • First of all, it depends on the deck you are using, and the system – because there are as many ways of reading Tarot as there are people who do it – maybe more.
Yes, Moon means the things you mentioned.
In Rider Waite, the illustration is clearly about The Left-Hand Path, which is as close as occultists commonly come to saying ‘evil.’ (Picture the Left Hand Path as the road to hell.) One of its main meanings is ‘wrong.’
In my system, Death is almost invariably a negative modifier to one of the other cards (no, not, isn’t, doesn’t, don’t, never, etc.)
Three of Swords is bad. Ten of Swords is at least ‘failure.’
Moon wreaks of a wrong choice or direction that persists.
Now, if you’re in the Marseilles deck, Devil is a mischievous fellow like the Norse god Loki (Mercury-esque).

    Good news.

  3. Jules

Could apply to my situation(s)… both possibilities are represented equally.
Who knows how things will turn out, patience is a virtue, I guess.
