Guidance  To give ourselves the loving home life we deserve after the day’s rat race. If we cannot do that, what hope is there for public life? Today talks about the debris that detours our personal paradise, about getting back to (or getting to) a normal and comfortable life-after-work, about the quality of evenings we share with homefolk. The problems that push aside the life we choose have themselves to be pushed aside the same way we wash dishes.

Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

Six of Cups
Justice – Knight of Wands – Eight of Cups

Both Knight of Wands and Eight of Cups are leaving. Knight of Wands is pursuing too. Knight of Wands is high speed, rush, a lot of energy, whereas Eight of Cups is taking a detour or shortcut, running off the road, quitting before it’s over. It has an ‘end of one thing, beginning of another’ spectrum to it, and it means to abandon course or to disappear or give up.

These two cards are as close as we come to action today.

Justice talks about justice matters, police and courts, of course. It often (not today) means ‘should.’ ‘Normal’ and balance also belong to Rider Waite Justice.

Six of Cups is sweet life, good old days, children or child, romance, giving a gift or favor.

These four cards tend to get on one another’s way and limit one another.

Justice Well, his meaning is obvious, huh? The sword displayed in one hand and the scales of justice in the other, he sits very upright and keeps a very straight face like judges must. Anything legal, should, balance, normal – those are its main contributions to sentences.
Knight of Wands Energetically flees or pursues and is in a rush. High-speed chase or departure. He carries a club but is wearing armor, and his horse seems clumsy but is flying.
Eight of Cups Fork in the road, detour, run off the road, unexpected departure, premature or aborted, abandon, vanish, quit without notice. A person cannot continue on his journey because of the terrain. There’s a suggestion he will be back on course when the obstacle is passed.
Six of Cups The good old days, the way things used to be. Old friends, old lovers, old memories. Sweetness, love gifts, lovingkindness. Children and romance. Depicted by a little boy giving a little girl flowers in front of a large old-fashioned building. They are dressed old style.

It is those times that are not steady….and they should be.

Tidbit for Emily. Guess what? Cerberus means spotted. So people have been calling dogs Spot for thousands of years.

    • Ha-ha. I’ll name the next puppy that. (Tina is gone, never returned in spite of all our efforts. Terry has spent about fifty hours searching for her in the wilderness on the ATV.

Thank you Emily. Now everybody, go out and have a beautiful, satisfying, and meaningful day. : )

    • Thank you. I wrote another ‘Don’t worry, be happy’ blog. Apparently, this is the message the Tarot has for visitors.

Everybody: Share the blog with friends. The more people come here, the more new people may come and become clients, so the animals eat. If we don’t have enough (serious) money to buy hay and grain, we have to kill them!

  4. Lori

Wow, yesterday and today really speak to me. I need to let go of the past and allow the present and the future to be pleasant. Too much grief and loss in the last couple of years, it is time to enjoy what is rather than pine away for what is not.
    Thank you again Emily!

    • Well, the reading of the 7th is very similar. In fact, it has both Queen of Cups and Two of Pentacles in it! You will treasure that one, Lori.

A newsletter is going out soon to the clients who are on its list. So, if that’s you and you have changed your address, do us both a favor and call. Also, if anyone wants the newsletter, call the number on this blog and give me your address and name.

Remember Rooster Roux and his twenty virgins? Well, everybody is laying now, and one Rhode Island Red hen not only did set on her eggs but hatched them and is mothering them: following them around protectively, showing them how to find food. This is unheard of for that breed: Commercial nurseries put Rhode Island Red eggs under Bantam chickens or in incubators.

We have four babies, one blond and the others black. They are two weeks old. This is very early in the season too.

These chickens are incredibly friendly with the dogs and cats. They come right up to people and talk to them too. But to peck at a napping dog’s feet … chutzpah galore!

you know, washing dishes cleans real good under my finger nails too. I always pictured “justice” to be a female, silly me. I do not know how you do it, but,,, your writings allways make me work in a good way thru the day.

    • Glad that is true, Win, and thank you for telling ‘the world.’ (I appreciate the fingernail side effect too!)
Justice could be female, it’s not that clear.
