Our Daily Spread May 21, 2012 Monday©

Guidance Oh, the trauma of removing a person from our lives, whether it is a divorce, or moving out of the parental house, or something else. Sometimes we miss houses more than the people we shared them with, too. Revisiting an old scene after recovery is a nostalgia all its own. Our theme is about the traumas and the recovery regarding exits.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

 Six of Cups

Knight of Swords – Tower – Ten of Wands

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Going Back to the Good Life (Knight of Swords + Six of Cups)

There’s a break, an immediate and total return to the sweet life, that wholly changes everything.

Just wait; all of a sudden there’s a breakthrough, and life is good.

It takes forever to turn around, divorce, and be in a loving relationship.

Suddenly all the difficulties are over and life is sweet.

Is back to loving her and being slow to anger.

The good old days are coming back so fast we are overwhelmed.

Happy times are here again, the burden is suddenly gone.

Revisit the childhood home I no longer have to put up with.

It took a long time to break through, but trust is returning again.

So exhausted, I hurry home and crash.

A rebellious child is suddenly too much.

Tearing yourself away from a comfortable house is so traumatic.

Eventually, I got around to giving him/her a present, and it was immediately rejected.

Finally, the kid leaves home and makes a clean break of it.

Have always had and always going to have this quick temper.

Going Back to (Knight of Swords)

Break with the past you eventually go back to anyway.

When the kids bust out of, or are taken or thrown out of, the home they go back eventually.

It’s a slow U-turn after a confrontation with my honey.

We move back into the house that is destroyed eventually.

I’m sick of the temper tantrums, go back to being sweet.

It takes a long time for a rejected child to turn his/her life around.

He/she erupts and goes back to being affectionate eventually.

Divorce, Separation (Tower)

He left when the going got tough, and there you were: divorced with children.

A divorce when we are getting along: That’s a radical change that is so hard on you.

Life suddenly bogs down when there’s a separation from the girl he loves.

Divorce has roots in the past like a heavy train moving fast.

Hard work divorcing and going back to the old girl friend.

Trust is slowly eroded and suddenly destroyed. Lover you trust suddenly breaks up with you after all that time.

A child prolongs the divorce but he is out of there suddenlly.

When it takes too long to change, romance reaches the ‘yuk point.’

Overwhelming when a romance ends suddenly.

When it gets too romantic, he suddenly splits.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Say hello back!  Comment!  Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it.  Read others’ comments.

 Six of Cups

Knight of Swords – Tower – Ten of Wands

Knight of Swords is to bolt out of a situation; Tower is a sudden eruption, a split or divorce, a breakthrough, confrontation or tantrum.

Ten of Wands means things like extreme, long time, eventually, difficult and slow, weighty and overwhelming, as well as the kind of depression that slows you down.

Six of Cups is orphaned here as the good sweet life of people who trust one another and love one another – the good old days. It also means children.

One theme is a return to the sweet life, the good times, after a trauma of some sort. Another theme is childhood and children and one’s childhood home. Otherwise, the dominant theme is confrontation and splitting up of a relationship or home.

Knight of Swords Speed and movement. Next to a divorce card, he mainly refers to getting out or a sudden divorce, but he also means to come back and to go back and forth. Annoying as it is that is the way he works in Tarot Verbatim ™. The context tells you which. You see breakneck speed in the illustration.

Tower ‘Break’ is in a lot of its meanings: Breaking up or divorce, breakthrough, breaking into pieces as in storm destruction. Erupting as in temper tantrums or broken pipes. Explosions or sudden releases of pressure. Illustration is the Tower of Babel story.

Ten of Wands Bent down under the weight of all those limbs, moving slowly … but moving. Overwhelming, too much, gradual, depression, too long, backbreaking, eventually.

Six of Cups What’s a nice card like you doing in a place like this? This is romance, love, affection, trust, the good old days, children and childhood, home, sweetness. Illustration shows a well dressed little boy giving a little girl some flowers. Behind them is an estate home or an apartment building.

Sounds like Dr. Man and Mrs. Dr.
    This is taking 4EVR . . .

    • Doctors are more inclined to keep things as they are than the rest of us. I guess that’s how they persisted through the punishment of medical school?

Today’s spread is applicable in a way. There have been previous eras in my life, and lately I’ve been going back to activities from “back then”. It’s nostalgic. In school, I used to write out an author’s thoughts by hand. It’s a different feel from typing and steno. More intimate and detailed. I’ve gone back to doing that to understand things better. Lately I’ve been in a rut. Life is comfortable, but I can’t seem to find the right direction to take. Dreams have been coming, feel on the verge of a breakthrough somehow. Thanks.

    • Mystics used to be called at age 38. Now it’s much earlier. You have those ‘symptoms.’ State supporting your health in order to optimize the process.

There’s a break, an immediate and total return to the sweet life, that wholly changes everything.
Just wait; all of a sudden there’s a breakthrough, and life is good.

That is what I could really use right about now!

  4. Me

The cards are right on today!

    • Good to know the Tarot system is accurate. Hope all is as well as it can be: You sound a little ominous there

  5. win

    I’m still breathing.

    • Me

      • Sounds, as I said, a little ominous with you guys today. Tomorrow’s messages go up at 9 p.m. Mountain Time, and yes, I typed them already. During the eclipse. Someone who called pointed out the eclipse was the cause of my not relating the material into sentences right then.

So I am busy at work for the 23rd. Tomorrow is my deceased husband’s birthday.

    • Looking that up as a symptom in the medical dictionary, it said it is a sign of life. Continue the exercise until further notice.

Yep, a slightly traumatic weekend has ended peacefully with a Sunday dinner with my dear sweet friends 🙂
