Our Daily Spread May 29, 2012 Tuesday©

Guidance We all are going to be ‘mad as hell and I won’t take it anymore’ and we all are going to have to deal with someone who is feeling that way. Change often precipitates this scene; and this scene often precipitates change. Being aware that turning points come wrapped in this sort of tension allows us to ease into the change rather than butt heads with it – whichever side we are playing this time around.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Knight of Cups – Judgment – Magician

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT CARDS READING
Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Making Himself be a Boyfriend (Knight of Cups + Seven of Wands)

He says he loves you and then acts like you made him do it.

Suddenly realizes he does love (him/her/it) and will have to deal with that.

Being a Boyfriend is a change of consciousness, a new identity, for him, but he is getting himself to do it anyway.

He resists being your guy, announces that he acts on his own.

I told him ever so clearly: Guys make the first move.

‘Come hell or high water’ he will be saying sweet things.

He says before God and everybody that he is her guy: This is something he feels forced to do.

He says he loves you in spite of himself.

He comes back like a gentleman, but you are going to have to defend yourself from him.

Trying hard to get your attention by doing you favors.

Boyfriend comes back on his own, beating your door down.

Forcing Himself/Myself to Change (Magician + Seven of Wands)

Being considerate is a life change he is just going to have to go through.

He is the one to start being civilized again, after raising all that hell.

The easygoing compliant guy forces himself to change.

He goes back to being himself after his tirade.

He is pushing himself to go back to being his good self.

Your guy friend can force himself to change.

Going back to being polite to that person is the last thing I want to do.

Surprise: The nice-guy can defend himself forcefully.

The hellraiser offers to come back peacefully.

Trying to get myself not to do what I am doing, but I am going back to being too nice.

It’s his initiative this time: he is under pressure, forced to take initiative.

Accepts the news, it’s the last thing he wants to do.

Express Opposition (Judgment + Seven of Wands)

Honks off at the nice guy to start a fight.

Tell him nicely you are not doing this voluntarily.

Tell him nicely what he is going to have to do, like it or not.

Starts a fight when you say something nice.

Just announce politely that that is against your best interest.

He is starting something when he says that, getting in over his head

He only just started to help, and he is under verbal attack already.

Be nice about it but do it despite opposition, and say so.

I object, nicely but loudly, to what you are doing.

Defending Actions (Magician + Seven of Wands)

Verdict is given that he acted in self-defense.

Defend your actions with a courteous announcement.

Comes back to make amends but is defending his actions.

Comes to the defense of his friend once more.

A New and Nicer Phase (Knight of Cups + Judgment)

A new phase of being relaxed for him after he pushes himself so hard.

He comes back being his good self, and you are just going to have to deal with that

Comes back to help, and he is going to pitch in and do the challenging part.

He does what gets you all riled up and then acts sweet again.

Miscellaneous

I am getting in over my head, starting something I can’t finish, when I offer to do that.

He talks sweet; he is high pressure about it, though.

Oh, does this nice guy deliberately get in your way.

Oh, the obstacles to getting that done! You will be asking for help.

 Seven of Wands

Knight of Cups – Judgment – Magician

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Seven of Wands is our star card: being forceful, defending, being pushy, pressure, raising hell, indignation, having to deal with something onerous, a fight. It is a guy card.

Three male cards make this mostly about ‘him.’ Knight of Cups is the Boyfriend, the nice or good guy, a courteous or polite person or exchange. Magician specifically refers to male gender, and usually means to act or take initiative.

Judgment is just about any word that means announce, speak, say, talk, etc. It also means a change, to go back, to do again, a new phase or new life.

Our story is mostly about dealing with challenges, especially challenges arising from a guy who is either disturbing others or making himself change – usually change from the hellraiser to the diplomat.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Knight of Cups is Johnny-on-the-spot when it comes to easing a conversation or tension. He is the polished civilized diplomatic affectionate friend or boyfriend we all like to see coming – and, yes, he is the one to take the initiative, to offer to shake hands first. The illustration is done in pastels with curved lines. His horse is a horsey.

Judgment’s meanings are held together by the illustration of the Christian concept of Judgment Day. The angel with the trumpet is an announcement. The people rising from the dead are returning to a former state, are having a new phase of life, and are undergoing change.

Magician is the male principle and the concept of initiating action – of doing, acting, making something happen, starting something. The illustration shows a magician in the act of making something happen, with the tools of his trade.

Seven of Wands is in your face or is the ‘You can’t do that to me’ feeling: aggression from either perspective. Odds are against him seven to one but he is defending his home so he will likely win against those odds. This is pressure, pushing/pushy, forcing yourself or forcing others.
