Guidance    Off-label uses for downsides: You blunder upon them or you go hunting for them with salvage in mind. Everything you learn can be recycled if you remember it in time. The longer you live and the more you suffer, the more salvage is in your bin. Your history is a marked map, is your textbook, your gift to others who will listen, and your ammo clip, as well as pitfalls to bypass and shortcuts to cherish.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Sun

Eight of Wands – Page of Wands – Five of Pentacles

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

The chances of having Page of Wands and Five of Pentacles reappear in the same spot as they were yesterday are remote.

And look at these pairs:

*Sun is leaving home; Five of Pentacles is not having a home. Of course, leaving the home is for fun, and not having one is desperation.

*Eight of Wands is talk; so is Page of Wands. Page of Wands is a person (the clean-cut young fella) and Eight of Wands is just the lines, messages or words that were spoken.

*Page of Wands is a young man; Sun is a young boy (or child). Page of Wands is responsible, respectable, accountable; Sun is feckless.

*Page of Wands is proud; Five of Pentacles is ashamed. Page of Wands is in fine shape; Five of Pentacles is miserable and sick.

Five of Pentacles is the creep at the party: It makes its mark on the story. If you removed it, you would have a completely different read here. Mostly it is something to recover from or look back upon and be proud you are okay now; and mostly it means doing without, being miserable.

If Five of Pentacles shows up anytime soon, I may just remove it!

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Eight of Wands Talk, conversation, messages, said and tell; fast or quickly or sequentially one after the other; pluralities (many, all, a list of things) and increasingly (‘er, more and more), or sometimes decreasingly. This picture shows limbs airborne making lines. Yeah, not that much correlation.

Page of Wands A clean-cut young man speaking up. He is well dressed and his posture is ‘standing up straight.’ He aims to please if not to impress. He is nice-looking. The card means any kind of speaking (said, tell, make a speech, etc.) as well as that kind of tennis pro type person.

Five of Pentacles There’s no knot at the end of their rope. Mother and son are trudging in the snowy night, sick and injured in thin rags, and no doubt hungry. They trudge past free food, heat and lodging in the cathedral. Numb with despair, not seeing the solution.

Sun looks on the bright side, and may be blinded by the light. Baby astride a mean pony, having sneaked naked into the yard for sport. A reckless funloving feckless brat likely to get his comeuppance on the spot. Nevertheless this card is about fun, sunshine, cheer and the optimistic feeling than it is about the consequences of the boy’s carelessness.

  1. I like the directions you’ve provided at the top. Now I have a better idea how to focus. Thanks!

    • You’re welcome. I keep meaning to rewrite them, shorter, but have not had the inspiration. Someday they will be in a dropdown box so as not to stay there in the way. That information does make the content useful to its visitors.

      Thank you, Cheryl.

  2. Anna

Salvaging the camping trip by staying at a hotel/resort up north. Found a couple places that would work, now we just have to agree on which one. :/

    • There’s always other ways. Almost always. Enjoy the time together. Enjoy choosing.

oohhh??? …… oh! what power do we have to rid ourselves of the five pent.? Navigating proper and change in accordance, lets not throw the card away, ( impossable), maybe we can stear away….oh The joys of living.

    • I meant I’m not letting it show up a third time in a row: too much already! This is a public group reading, and too much bad stuff affects some young souls adversely.

  4. Sue

    The salvage has started… Thanks.
