Guidance    An easygoing fellow gets along with her without really intending to, just going along with a woman who attends to his needs.” Today we examine dovetailing of self-interest. People who have compatible self-interest safely trust one another and profit together whether socially or monetarily. A person whose self-interest is incompatible with yours will operate as a secret enemy even if they don’t feel that way about you. ‘Birds of a feather should nest together.’

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Three of Cups

King of Cups – Queen of Pentacles – Six of Wands

Two of our guest Rider Waite Tarot cards are about influencing or affecting other people; the two others are about getting along with people.

Queen of Pentacles supports, backs, cares for, and has a financial interest in someone, usually her man. Six of Wands is the self-interested influencer – the betrayer, the cheater, the con artist, the sleazy merchant, the friend who misleads, as well as a person who is simply on his or her best behavior. It means also a situation is not what it seems, which of course includes fooling ourselves. This is the star card today: It is in every headline, and it is influencing the other cards more than they are influencing it … which, of course, that is what Six of Wands does for a living.

King of Cups is an amiable diplomatic quiet fellow who may drink a lot. He is her honey too. He is the emotional man, which sometimes means the weak or sniveling type man. So he gets along. Three of Cups is getting along famously as a team, being with likeminded people whose company you enjoy in an unguarded way.

Queen of Pentacles and Three of Cups are about money. Queen of Pentacles is having it and giving it to someone you believe in. Three of Cups is sharing money and good times with people – often, with people like yourself.

Three of Cups is trusting; Six of Wands is mistrust.

King of Cups is emotional; Three of Cups are thoroughly enjoying the moment and one another.

Six of Wands can pick up the sniveling side of King of Cups and be, say, Mr. Nixon.

King of Cups can be Marcus Welby (a saccharine M. D. on a very dated TV show) or as Richard Milhous Nixon. He can be a serious drinker too. Emotional unstable he is, with water surrounding his seat. He is calm and easygoing in his behavior, though, not outwardly jittery.

Queen of Pentacles has resources and uses them to benefit a person, usually her man, whom she backs, cares for or supports. This is the caretaker, caregiver. She stands by her man. She is generous. She can be the bookkeeper. She is able, talented, and capable.

Six of Wands is the smiling banker who assures you the title is clear. It’s the sleazy lover on the prowl behind your back, it’s anything that is taking advantage of or using another person, that is acting out of adverse self-interest in a deceitful way. The story in the picture is the betrayal of King Richard III to the Arabs by someone who sat on his throne as the proxy for him.

Three of Cups we are together in this endeavor and we share equally, we enjoy one another’s company and it’s a great day we are celebrating together, a fine harvest for all concerned. These are parties who can trust one another. It means to party, to celebrate, to enjoy, to enjoy one another’s company.

Many, many sentences that pertain. Specifically and in detail.

    • Well, it’s always nice if you identify it a little. You don’t have to, of course. Thank you for the feedback – lots.

  2. Mary

Aaaak. This applies really well to a friend of mine’s relationship. A lot of the spreads have been applying to her. I don’t like that guy and guys like that in general.

Sensitive is okay, but guys gotta be kind, brave, honest, and smart too. When there’s danger you can fight together.

    • When the Tarot stories follow someone in your circle, that story may have some application or meaning to yours. Keep following them.

There’s a distinction between ‘sensitive’ and ‘thin-skinned’ or touchy. If you mean he’s one of those fellows who whines … I used to beat up little sister for whining. Hope that’s not it!

      • Mary

Her guy fits this so well. He only has female friends. Weak and sniveling, just like the spread says, he reminds me of Georgie porgy in the nursery rhyme. You’re right. It does apply to my daughters father. It’s just disgusting when a guy acts catty. I don’t like it in girls, but in a straight guy it’s repulsive.

The guy I like gets triggered easily, but he brings what bothers him to the surface in an open challenge. He’s sweet afterwards if he thinks he’s wrong. It’s sexy. I even like him when he’s mad at me for the wrong reason.

  3. Anna

Yep, three of us girls will be having dinner tomorrow night with one guy who’s a sensitive fellow.
