Guidance   Our message is that work is likely to be aggravating, just get paid enough to be worth that much grief. Likewise, life is aggravating to some extent, and it is up to us to find compensating pleasures to make a good life for us and our companions. It’s really that simple, we say, so dry your tears already.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

This is a great example of a spoiler card. Everyone is getting along (Three of Cups) and getting paid fairly (Six of Pentacles) at work (Eight of Pentacles) … except right in the middle is this something to worry about (Nine of Swords).

Nine of Swords here is like some of those people you should just take out and shoot because, whatever it is, they ruin it.

Our message comes through, nevertheless, that work is likely to be aggravating, just get paid enough to be worth that much grief. Likewise, life is aggravating to some extent, and it is up to us to find compensating pleasures to make a good life for us and our companions.

This theme is a continuing one in our group messages here. It is strengthening all of us, I feel.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Three of Cups Get together and enjoy life. Pool your talents and resources with people who will split the labor and share the profits with you, people you are compatible (and even have a camaraderie with). That is what the women are celebrating on our illustration.

Nine of Swords Oh, wah! This Tarot fellow is an expression of grief, aggravation, insomnia, tension, worry and bad dreams. It describes the feeling more than it predicts. Up nights crying is the feeling, and the illustration.

Six of Pentacles Fairness. To pay and to be paid a fair exchange. Justice dispensed (by courts or by life). Getting what you deserve, and giving them their just due. Our picture is of an employer weighing the coins, to be fair to the workers.

Eight of Pentacles Here’s a carpenter banging away in a workmanlike manner making one after another of those pentacle objects and hanging them up to dry. This Rider Waite Tarot citizen is about work, workplace, working-class, repetitive motions, and doing or getting done (whatever).

Hey I have a stressful job, but I like the work and it pays well. I never get out . . . Gotta pay for my daughters’ education . . .cars, gas, clothing, entertainment . . .but heck they’re only in their twenties . . .

Oh yes, a problem at work… it’s not too bad though. I trust the people I normally work with. The colors of this new guy will show in how he responds to this situation.

    • Wish you the best in the work situation. Enjoy Sunday. I just typed another one about trouble as raw material. I especially like the sentence there that said ‘I wouldn’t be where I am now if I hadn’t made that blunder back there.’

That has been a rumination of mine for a few months now: things that were small or commonplace then, that nudged me into where I am now, and what if I had done something else?

Leaving today to go up north with my friend, there is always some stress when getting ready to go on vacation.

    • Problems are not too bad. That is the steady drumbeat of the blog for quite some time now. Methinks the purpose might be to instill that approach into our life philosophies? Tarot intentionality, anyone?

      • Candy

Count me in! I believe that is how I’ve taken your daily spreads for awhile now. Great advise to some(myself) and reminders to the smarter ones. Sometimes it sounds like my story or of people I know. Your hard work is truley appreciated.. with much admiration.

        • Thank you, Candy. I learn from these readings too. They are just beginning to apply to me. Yes, it is hard work. I am working on streamlining the process – have reduced the last few down to four hours (interrupted).
