Guidance   Our story is true to our current theme that difficulties are raw material for progress. There is a strong suggestion here to not take what seems a big setback at face value, that there are gems in this trash. If we are going to quit being edgy when things blow over, why not just quit being edgy now? I’m not going to leave this place until I quit hating it. And if I had not made that blunder back there, I would not be where I am now.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Four of Cups

Moon – King of Wands – Six of Swords

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Don’t Miss Out on This Trouble! (Moon + Six of Swords, Four of Cups)

Yeah, it was an impulsive mistake, but I would not be where I am now if I had avoided it.

Workingman’s lot is difficult, but I wouldn’t give it up for the world.

It’s a problem that won’t go away until you finally get mad enough at it.

You can’t get away from problems, but you can get away from reactions to them.

He is putting the vice of bad temper behind him by just refusing to let it come through.

Not going to let myself get frustrated at problems anymore … hell with it.

Don’t be afraid to get angry, you will get over it.

Don’t be angry just because there’s no way out of a bad situation.

Getting over the addiction without being snarly and edgy.

He would not give up being a working man, for all its downsides.

A real man doesn’t leave when things get tough. His fears keep him from giving up.

I am not moving away until I don’t hate the place anymore.

Being or Having a Husband (King of Wands)

When things get bad, Husband will not abandon you.

He hates being married but isn’t going to leave.

Hates having a husband but isn’t leaving.

He is not going to be a old-married-man; he hates that, he avoids it.

The marriage is difficult but he isn’t giving up on it.

Some of his difficulties don’t happen, he got of of them by being married.

He avoided the worst part by not letting himself be married to it. She avoided the downside by not letting herself be married to it.

You didn’t marry him this time, so you avoided the worst part. He left before he was a husband, so he passed up the worst of it.

Crazy Man (Moon + King of Wands)

Your nutcase dude isn’t going anywhere.

Isn’t leaving this impossible curmudgeon.

Not giving up on this crazy-ass uninhibited dude.

Get out of there before the angry man goes completely mad.

Trouble Blows Over (Moon + Six of Swords)

He isn’t going to let himself die just because he has a chronic ailment.

Things aren’t so bad anymore, so I’m not so mad anymore.

You can quit being edgy now, what you feared did not happen.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Four of Cups

Moon – King of Wands – Six of Swords

King of Wands is often the curmudgeon, and is the main husband card in Tarot Verbatim ™. Moon accentuates the downside of whatever card it associates with, and it means just about any bad stuff you can think of.

Luckily, our other two table-mates (and notice that Four of Cups did not leave yesterday; he is still here) both are headed away and don’t want any. Six of Swords is leaving a sorry scene behind for one that has to be better than this. Four of Cups refuses input, doesn’t want any, and says “No.” emphatically.

The worst is over and you are leaving in Six of Swords; and Moon is the worst.

Our story is true to our current theme that difficulties are raw material for progress. There is a strong suggestion here to not take what seems a big setback at face value, that there are gems in the trash.

Moon The path to perdition, road to hell, Left-hand Path, the chaos of a lobster going on a land journey and a coyote and dog being pals. The space we make mistakes in, the place our closeted fear leaks out. Pockets of perdition are to be expected, ladies and gentlemen.
King of Wands The Natural Man, in Christian parlance. The common uninhibited and unimproved male human specimen, and the husband. He is the working-class plainspoken beer-drinking fellow at the car races, stereotypically. He could be a stockbroker or a president too, of course; we are talking about a mentality and a lifestyle. He is pictured as a redhead with a board in one hand sitting tensely, a salamander and a pattern of salamanders before and behind him to denote his fiery nature .
Six of Swords Had enough of this, I’m outa here. Let’s just put it behind us and move on. The worst is over, the future is better, we are headed out. A mother and child huddle in a rowboat on an overcast day, leaving with no provisions or possessions.
Four of Cups Such a simple Rider Waite Tarot card in the Tarot Verbatim ™ system: A person’s legs are crossed, arms are crossed, head is averted, as yet another cup of something is offered. We know what we don’t want, and we’re not having any, and that’s that.

Hi Emily. It’s strange. I’m getting flooded with impressions and memories today. Playing the piano and following the progression of key signatures reminded me of the Tarot book you asked me to read. The one with the progression of cards in the major arcana. They’re both sort of story journeys about transformation and coming back home.

I think I’m going to use the downtime to get prepare for certification test, study grammar, and play the piano. It feels like the right thing to do. Also want to study anatomy. I’ve to fix the jaw tension problem before working live. This day’s spread is spot on! Way to go.

    • Interesting. Memories have come to see me too.

You are really suited for Tarot. Studying that along with the other might dovetail.

If you want to get your Merit Certification, doing it when you are still in the student stage is a good idea. As a professional, you may develop some things that trip you up. I had a habit of eliminating ‘and’ that I had to break.

Re jaw tension. For daytime, if you make yourself put the tip of your tongue between your front teeth, it will not distort your facial appearance and will keep you from chomping, seeing as how Mr. Tongue would give the alert.

Good reminder. Today I’m making gems out of the trash. Actually happier than when everything was technically “going great.” I feel freedom and possibility after a loss, like the world is opening up.

Every significant loss in my life made way for something wonderful. Like how we met you!

    • Well, THAT’S a good feeling.

Repeating patterns in one’s life usually hold true. So something wonderful is ahead. If you are looking for a job, Linked-In has several groups about court reporting and transcribing, and there are companies posting jobs there.
