Guidance   The home life of elder men, especially the dictatorial type who has mellowed some with age and is a peacemaker … without admitting it … is our topic for today. We even say ‘Low class troublemakers have gotten old and mellow.’ Problems of romance with old dudes are one category.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Four of Pentacles

Ace of Cups – Emperor – Ten of Pentacles

Elder men’s family relations are more complicated than other people’s. Today we have an elder man (Emperor) and the family and relatives (Ten of Pentacles) featured with Ace of Cups, which means real love.

The other card (Four of Pentacles) means a secret, to keep quiet, to hold onto anything, and to suppress feelings. Emperor is a person who is very controlled: Repressing feelings is what he does. So Emperor and Four of Pentacles play into one another.

Ace of Cups is making peace, and Ten of Pentacles is a quarrelsome warring family.

Ace of Cups Being mellow, love and cooperation and peace is what Ace of Cups is doing today. Its meaning is not apparent from its illustration, like so many Rider Waite cards are. It is the Roman Catholic Eucharist wafer, the dove of the Holy Spirit, and either/or the five senses or body fluids (per the Middle Ages). It exemplifies the Holy Spirit flowing through a person’s consciousness. Hence, peace and love.
Emperor is the senior man, in both senses. He is an authority in the family, if not the actual head of the clan. He is a presence as if he held some political title; he is an authority. Emperor denotes a very controlled, even rigid, personality. See how stiffly he sits, staring so forward his beard is in the exact center of his chest?
Ten of Pentacles The family, relatives, even the neighborhood – as it really is, with its divisions and quarrels and troubles and problems. Ten of Pentacles is humankind’s lot of infighting. Pictured is a family quarrel with the controlling old man sitting on his throne, the couple ‘having a discussion’ in which the husband stares away as the wife earnestly speaks, and the kid squalls and pulls on her clothes.
Four of Pentacles mainly speaks of shortage (usually of money but not always) and keeping quiet about something. It also denotes deeply held feelings. Its illustration is a fellow outside of town holding onto his gold for dear life, staring into space and hugging himself.

My computer’s nanny is iYogi (877 276 1590). Three years of experts who are motivated (and well paid). A three-year contract for unllimited calls was $300. They are a lifesaver: They even explain things. I like to use the computer chat because it gets rid of the accents and ou have it in writing: Sometimes I cop what they said into a text file.

Think away. It’s an unusual one.
