Guidance The part that attitudes and awarenesses play in ‘how things happen,’ including in the public arena is our rather subtle commentary today. Sometimes ignoring even a threat makes it not so. Sometimes being oblivious forces the hand of rulers, too. (Mr. Machiavelli is over there winking.) Marriage is an institution as much as business is, or moreso. We are motivated, once married, to be loyal to marriage irrespective of the person we married. People collectively are public life but the institutions (and the people who occupy them) affect us whether we know it or not, whether we like it or not.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT CARDS READING

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Marriage and Family, Home Life (Four of Wands)

There are opportunities that married people must not even think about.

Absolutely has to start a new wonderful family.

Forced to assume the marriage is wonderful.

Regardless of all the challenges that threaten it, our marriage, our home life, will be wonderful.

Just trusted in luck and got the marriage the way it should be.

Just be One of the Crowd (Fool + Four of Wands)

.

Acting as if you aren’t feeling threatened is the best way to be one of the normal folks.

You’re not one of those in-crowd folks; make the best of it.

You must forget how wonderful you assume other people are.

Must be one of those people who are open to whatever happens.

Lucky People (Wheel of Fortune + Four of Wands)

You must act as if you are not one of the lucky ones.

They must not know how lucky you are to be one of them!

You luck out when you have no idea in the world they are out to get you.

I can assume I was lucky to win against those people.

The dominant people just lucked out, I assume.

If you’re one of those lucky people, winning is just irrelevant.

Just trusted in luck and got the marriage the way it should be.

People who just don’t understand when they are threatened luck out.

Never know when you get lucky and the good people (our side) win.

Of course I’ll win: I’m one of the lucky ones.

Luck is with the Establishment folks; here we are mindlessly following orders.

Business Opportunity (Wheel of Fortune + Four of Wands)

There are opportunities that married people must not even think about.

Prevail in the business when I am open to whatever destiny brings.

No one knows who in the winning company is making these events happen.

The winning team ignores orders.

People forget what they had to do to ‘make it.’

You have to be young to make it big in that industry.

No way should you ignore an opportunity with the company.

Cut Yourself Free (Fool + Ace of Swords)

Cut yourself loose from your group’s destiny or karma.

Cut myself free of the events in public life.

Freedom is the most important item in a nation’s destiny.

Cut yourself free of what is happening with other people.

Ignores threats of a group that really can make them happen.

The windfall is not that important to us anymore.

People Power (Four of Wands + Ace of Swords)

Have to keep an open mind that the good people are destined to win.

People are unaware of their power to make things happen.

Nothing else matters but I have to be one of the people who makes things happen.

People who have faith in their destiny win.

People who are oblivious to the most important issue make things happen. (Mavericks)

A person who dominates people subconsciously triggers events.

People make freedom happen.

Assume they are dominant and it happens.

Doesn’t matter if I get killed, I’m one of the people that made that happen.

You are an ultimatum to everybody just by your attitude: It works!

Got to Win (Wheel of Fortune + Ace of Swords)

.

Got to be young and frisky to be a winner in that crowd.

Assume you will be the big winner and defeat all those people.

Doesn’t know why, he just must win for the team.

Of course I’ll win: I’m one of the lucky ones.

No One Knows (Fool + Four of Wands)

No one must know what is happening to these people.

People must not know what is happening.

You never know what’s going to happen when you threaten an organization.

Unaware of what is happening in enforcement agencies.

A blanket denial from everybody about what happened.

Public life affects you whether you know it or not, whether you like it or not.

People who don’t pay attention just may force events on the ruling class.

These four relate to one another in many ways – even more than the many I have presented here. Both Ace of Swords and Four of Wands are about being number ones: Ace of Swords is winning, victory, being dominant, being ‘Number One’; Four of Wands is the people who are the leading clans.

Both Wheel of Fortune and Ace of Swords are about making something happen, something big. Ace of Swords is, yes, making it happen whether it wants to or not; Wheel of Fortune is coincidence, destiny or luck making it happen in a big (and good) way.

We have the contrast in Fool’s ‘just let things happen’ and Ace of Swords’ use of force.

Both Fool and World involve realities ‘out there,’ or (as the occults and New Agers say) in higher planes. Fool is living that ‘different drummer’ reality there on the edge of a cliff, and Wheel of Fortune actually pictures the denizens of the other planes or realities.

The only one of the four that identifies the parties in the story is Four of Wands, which makes these concepts apply to a group – family, any level of community leaders, people generally, and any level or kind of organization – hence, business too.

The juxtaposition of people (Four of Wands), force (Ace of Swords), events or happenings – along with coincidence and destiny (Wheel of Fortune), and ignoring or just letting (Fool) could be the story of either people or rulers dominating the other, and also the story of how it doesn’t really matter (Fool) who wins (Ace of Swords).

Our story is a comment on the process of how public events happen, how they are shaped by people’s approaches, actions and attitudes.

Fool doesn’t even mind his own business. This is paying attention to something else other than the business at hand. This is ignoring so thoroughly one isn’t aware one is ignoring it – which is the best way to ignore a pest. Fool, like World, centers attention on out-there realities rather than ‘real physical world’ ones. That is why he is prancing so close to the edge of a cliff with his doggie, and why he has not packed much to go on a journey.
Wheel of Fortune What happens in ‘the real physical world’ is affected by all those ‘out there’ critters pictured on the World card. God of course is ‘out there,’ so there his Name is (in Hebrew letters) in the center of what looks like a roulette wheel. Other mythical critters, some reading books, are around the circle too.
Four of Wands A society wedding makes Four of Wands about both marriage (as an institution) and leading families (all levels of politics) and even people in the sense of ‘the people.’ We are not using its other applications today.
Ace of Swords Winning usually involves the defeat of something, unless you have one of those genius deal-makers we could use more of around. It speaks of force as well as overcoming, and often means ‘make’ as in ‘make it happen’ along with Wheel of Fortune.

  1. I don’t know how we are back to landing on the ‘Home’ page like the geeks always insist on doing. Maybe the oDesk dude took it upon himself to ‘improve’ it. This is the fourth time I have had to beat up a geek over this! Sorry! You should land on this page when you put in ‘tarotverbatim.com’ or ‘TarotVerbatim.com.’

    Thank you for the reading.
    The 18th sounds scary.

    • I left out the really scary stuff, figuring none of you are into, say, conspiracies with the police, or doing drug deals, or involved in a murder. If you feel these daily readings have some validity, though, being careful that day is a good idea. Interesting to see what is on the news, too.

And if you are around any of those situations, give me a call for further information if you wish.

  3. Heads up warning on the 18th, a week from now. I would say Be careful of what is around you, and don’t go into bad places.

There comes a time when you gotta put your foot down and deal with a dark-side issue. Your own vice. Being taken advantage of. A messed-up sex life. An environment gone awry. A dark-side issue that is festering is a spiritual battle. When you must straighten something out, including yourself, it’s shoulder-to-the-wheel time. Spiritual muscle is an important part of our anatomy.

  4. Anna

A couple of sentences I know are “mine” but have to do with someone I know. Sometimes no sentence stands out but not today!

    • It is amazing to me how often the daily visitors’ concerns are addressed here. I suspect that the more people visit the more attention their issues and events are addressed by Tarot.
