Guidance   So wonderful it’s scary. When you meet your soulmate, or your soul-job even, you dare not fail, and may even worry that you don’t deserve this wonderful fate, or worry that somehow you’re going to ‘get what you deserve and lose this wonderful opportunity.’ Our point today is that miracles are not comfortable events; miracles are stressful. The concept is delivered via the story of the perfect devoted loving couple who have found one another and worry about what might happen. Miracles are front-row, and it’s more comfortable to sit in the back of the bus.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Wheel of Fortune

Queen of Cups – Knight of Cups – Nine of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Hmmm. We have a nightmare and a miracle sitting next to one another, Nine of Swords and Wheel of Fortune respectively. And we have the perfect warm-fuzzy loving couple: Queen of Cups and Knight of Swords.

The first stories you see in these four are about ‘It’s-too-good-to-be-true’ fears: The wonderful loving couple have found one another … now what? The next is wonderful love that impinges on sleep time, what with Nine of Swords being up nights. The last category is comforting one another and being drawn together in a tragic situation: Nine of Swords is upset and grief, Knight of Cups is the helpful friend, Queen of Cups is understanding too.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Queen of Cups thinks kindly of you, is very emotional, usually the mother of babies, focuses on what others see as irrelevant that intrigues her: a dreamer. She loves and understands her man. She is pictured staring at a funky artifact as flood waters arise around her.
Knight of Cups Your friend, the boyfriend, the warmhearted extroverted good guy. He takes initiative, he is agreeable and conciliatory. He gets you to buy and do. He is loving, good-natured, helpful, relaxed and easygoing.
Nine of Swords Stress and fears get to us even when we are asleep. We are up nights crying because we have to be fearless in the daylight. But Nine of Swords is also about simply not getting enough sleep, and sometimes it is our love life that keeps us from sleeping in our beds.
Wheel of Fortune Randomness rules. Whoever has his finger on the trigger of coincidence is god. This concept is depicted by the four letters that make the (unspoken) Hebrew Name of God, interspersed with the four letters that spell ‘TARO’ and ‘ROTA’ in the center of what looks like a roulette wheel. Around the wheel are mythical creatures with books, and attached to the wheel are some creepy-looking critters.

  2. Michelle Meredith

Wow what a spread totally about my boyfriend and I right now about our worries for his health.

    • That is a ‘wow.’
Our blog, more than a year and a half, has proven that Tarot is a much better vehicle for group readings than astrology. See, you are living proof.

And thank you for telling. The feedback is the lifeblood of the blog I work so hard on.

  3. Mary

Interesting spread for tomorrow. Will report back.

    • Mary

Today’s spread came true in a really strange way, but it’s too personal to write about here. Thanks for writing the blog.

      • You’re welcome. Lots of comments are saying this ‘too personal’ thing. That means Tarot is really relating to its visitors here. Oh, to have lots of visitors to experience this!

  4. Anna

The love story must be referring to one of my friends and not me unfortunately
