Our Daily Spread August 8, 2012 Wednesday©

Guidance We could get together for mutual benefit and great reward, whether in business or love, but one of us (or both) may not want to. Arbitrary preferences override our best interests at times. ‘Yeah, that’s the job I want and they will pay me a lot more, but ain’t nothin’ gonna get me to move to (wherever).’ That’s the territory our Tarot readings analyze today, in some variety.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Guidance (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Guidance is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT CARDS READING

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Tarot Readings: Wants a Real Relationship (Three of Pentacles + Nine of Cups)

We are still talking about what we both want; we have not left off the serious part, but are still having fun.

I am not having a fling; I want to have a relationship that is mutual, in which I do my part to your satisfaction.

Not just a fun – but a satisfying – relationship.

Not just playing around, this is the relationship of our dreams.

It will not be he who leaves; this is the relationship he wants.

Their relationship ends as you want it to: with him leaving happily.

In this relationship, his little-boy charm does not get him everything he could ever want.

You are not free because you really want this relationship. Does not want to leave, wants to have this relationship.

Not leaving a stifling place, home, situation or environment because its benefits keep (you) doing (your) part.

Wants to have a baby without a relationship.

Want out of the house and not associate with (you).

We are happy with what we are doing together even though it’s not exactly what we each want.

Want no children in the relationship.

Not free to have the uninhibited relationship we want.

Tarot Readings: I Want to Be Alone (Nine of Cups + Sun)

It’s liberating and satisfying not to be in a relationship.

Is not part of anyone’s deal; wants to be and is totally free.

I don’t want to deal with you, I am free of you.

Won’t deal with it, just wants to be happy.

So happy to have exactly what (you) want and not deal with (them).

Totally free, nobody to see.

What we want most: to get out of a bad situation and not have to deal with it.

Is free and does not want to be in a relationship.

Tarot Readings: Business Dealings (Three of Pentacles)

He leaves, not letting a deal that you want go through.

Not too young to enjoy the benefits of the contract settlement.

A business you make lots of money in without leaving your house.

In the end, the negotiation goes the way you want it to, and you are happy with the deal.

I’m in the business I want to be in, I am not leaving.

I am not going to be meeting with (them), I got out of there like I wanted to.

So relieved there isn’t going to be any legal proceeding and I get what I want.

People get together and do business for the profit of it, not because it’s fun.

Totally happy to not be in business.

Be out of reach when the meeting happens: You do not want to be at that meeting.

I really want to do the deal but am not free to.

Wants to get out in the sunshine, so won’t be at the meetings.

Tarot Readings: The Kid (Sun)

Get the kid out of there (the way you want) so he isn’t going to be with the bunch he shares his life with now.

It’s no fun to do what they want you to do, to get what you want.

He isn’t a kid anymore; he wants to do his part now.

Wants to be rich without doing business, just wants to play.

Tarot Readings: Legal Proceeding (Three of Pentacles)

Legal proceeding goes as (you) wish; it’s over and (you) are free and happy as a kid.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Two of Swords is a negator. Negators create contradictory meanings, and there’s no way around it because we are working without a question that would eliminate some of them. That is one factor that makes for a lot of sentences that bump into one another.

Another factor that creates more spectrum than we would choose in our daily Tarot readings is that Nine of Cups is wanting (and usually getting) it, and Sun is being free of it, happy to be out of there.

Of course, all of this refers to the meeting, relationship, negotiating and association with others, the famous Three of Pentacles.

So we have lots of variations to our story about getting together to mutual satisfaction … or not …. Today, you have choosing to do, more than may be comfortable for you … sorry.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Two of Swords clearly is saying ‘No way.’ The main meaning of this Rider Waite Tarot card in the Tarot Verbatim ™ system functions as a negator. No, never, not, can’t won’t, etc. You see a blindfolded woman in a slip sitting on a stone bench with two heavy swords in crossed arms counterbalancing one another.
Three of Pentacles The art of the deal is alive and well in human affairs, love and business and every other possible category. We get together to mutual benefit, and hopefully all do our part and all share as agreed. Today we are making the point that some of us opt out. The illustration shows an architect demonstrating the cathedral job is finished satisfactorily to his clients, with the blueprint. He collects the last draw, the largest payment, when he accomplishes that demonstration.
Nine of Cups Sometimes we get exactly what we dream of, and that is soo satisfying we pig out on it, don’t we? Nine of Cups is about this moment, this experience. ‘I can’t believe I ate and drank the whole thing.’
Sun Whee! I snuck out of the place, I broke all the rules, and I’m having fun. I might crash, but, by damn, I’m having fun. I am free of it all, I’m outa there. What a relief! You see the cute kid on the mean pony, nude and bareback in the sunshine, carrying a huge furling banner that may soften his mighty fall.

Now that I have read the guidence part… My answer is ‘no’… Thanks anyway

  2. karen

This rather confused me because my question was if he misses me and I didnt know whether to pick the good or the bad sentences.
It has been over a month now since I last spoke to him and I miss him terribly…but things are complicated

    • Well, first of all you’re on the 8th when today is the 11th.

Next, the information is for the day (and thereabouts), not for a specific question to be the answer of – although visitors have concerns they come here with.

You called me, and we did a reding regarding his attitudes about you in full.

  3. This is an invitation to all visitors to post a question in comments here, and I will answer it (for all to see, yes) with the usual four-card spread, identifying the cards. Can’t post the pictures of the cards here, though.

    • FCP

What is D thinking about me/our relationship lately?

      • Gotta know gender and whether this is romance, business, friendship, family or litigation, you know. I till assume it’s romance, since that’s the most common question, further assume D is a Dude.
        Ten of Swords
Ten of Wands – Six of Cups – Justice

This is one of those, ‘Oh, no, it’s gone THIS far, it’s the real thing, I’m in love and I lost, I am doing what I should.’ Now, when a dude says the ‘I’m doing what I should,’ he often means he is feeling that way, not that he is doing it, yet.
At this point in a romance, one of two things is coming up: he disappears, or he commits. Or both – disappears and then commits.
At this point, usually the best thing for a dudess to do is to act like it ain’t no big deal, so as not to get Dude even more anxious.

        • FCP

Yep. I’m a female and D is a dude…. and you are right on with the reading! He’s finally (after a few years) saying the “L” word, and as long as I am cool and aloof about it, we’re good. Thanks as always Emily!

          • Feedback is so refreshing. Am grateful. After years of talking on the phone with people, there are certain phases situations fall into, and this is one, a common one, so I find it easy to recognize. The rest of what I told you is the advice that usually comes after Tarot identifies the situation’s phase. Again, Thank You, FCP.

  4. Me

May whole Family is mad at me, and I’m trying to b nice.

    • ‘Trying to’ is a self-defeating phrase; just say ‘I’m being nice.’
Whether that is a good strategy depends on why they are mad at you.

  5. Lori

This speaks to me today, as I want my new “friend” to pursue me in a romantic way!

  6. Anna

Yes these are exactly the right cards: I left a relationship, but leaving it brought me no satisfaction (the blues actually).
