Guidance    The interesting contrast of getting away with taking advantage of others … say, being the criminal who successfully makes off with the loot … and having good money and reputation. How being the victim of shysters can make you a heroic figure. How being well-dressed and presentable makes a criminal successful too. We explore the juxtaposition of these concepts, and we apply them to our real life.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Full instructions are at the bottom.

Guidance and the Tarot Readings are for you if you just want your daily look ahead. “Guidance” is the summary, followed by your word for word Tarot Readings from the four Rider Waite Tarot cards you see pictured here. Pick the sentences that you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them. Sentences contradict one another because negative cards, in this group reading with no question, can attach to any of the other three cards.

Five of Swords

Page of Wands – Seven of Swords – Two of Wands

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Tarot Readings: Beat or Outsmarted it (Seven of Swords)

It got the best of me, I beat it, and now I will always be clean.

I outsmarted the mooch and now have secured my own financial future.

It is to this wise alec’s financial advantage to be honest: We outsmart (them) that way.

Being taken financial advantage of and outsmarting them has made me who I am.

Will beat the bodily impairment.

Tarot Readings: Reputation as The Good Guy They Picked On (Page of Wands + Five of Swords)

Your reputation is established (the good guy, the solid citizen) when you are taken advantage of by sabotage.

Speak up for yourself confidently when you are right and someone is ‘out to get you’; those shysters will make you a powerful figure as the one who got the best of them.

Tarot Readings: Dress for Success in Crime (Page of Wands + Seven of Swords)

The well dressed banker gets away with thievery.

A well-dressed punk is very successful at crime. [Dapper Don]

Good-looking well-spoken handsome (human) will get away with taking advantage.

People who have a clean record and a thieving attitude are the security risks.

Being a wise-guy is self-destructive in business life so keep a clean image.

Tarot Readings: The Shyster, and Proud of It (Page of Wands + Five of Swords)

He declares himself openly to be out for himself at our expense, to get rich by taking advantage.

In the long run, cutthroat tactics will label (you) as one who rips people off.

He plans to take it and get away with it.

He is the very butch criminal type and he has such a clean and solid reputation.

He has always been such a nice guy, but I see by a smirk on his face that he is up to something.

Tarot Readings: Either Be Honest or Be a Sleaze (Page of Wands + Seven of Swords)

Young delinquent cleans up his act; the ruffian will be a solid citizen.

Be either a solid honest citizen or a sleazeball who rips people off.

Okay, fool around with the bad boy but end up permanently with a good man.

Such an honest person to plan to get even by stealing.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings

I have the guts for the risky mission: I am your man for sure.

It says right there that the plan is in place for intruders to be aggressively handled. [probably refers to a sign]

This tough guy is here in person to ensure the security of the place against theft.

When you are the type to have family money, thieves and con artists come around.

Five of Swords

Page of Wands – Seven of Swords – Two of Wands

Most people would just put these back in the deck and choose again, because Seven of Swords and Five of Swords together, even in a 14-card spread, are bad news. And this is a four-card spread.

And our other two cards are good citizens. So our first response here is ‘Hmmmm.’

A wise or experienced Tarot reader knows that ‘bad’ cards can cancel one another out. My favorite example is ‘not dead’ takes two negative cards.

So let’s jump in. Five of Swords is the bully, the rip-off or thief, the person who takes advantage … and it means to beat someone or something.

Seven of Swords is getting away with a crime or a dangerous mission. It is the double-crossing sleazeball, the cheater, too. (Stealing the sleeping enemy’s weapons.) Hotfooting it out of there because you took their stuff.

On the other hand, Page of Wands is having a good reputation, being the good guy, being well-dressed and presentable. It stands for who a person is: identity.

Two of Wands is the solid citizen, the rich landowner or banker … associated with owning real estate and things global. Good reputation again, here. It also refers to a plan, to things financial.

All of which immediately suggests a successful criminal with a good reputation. Lucky Luciano, in his book, said to be the best criminal, one should go to law school.

Page of Wands Is identity, reputation, what a person stands for. It can mean a name. It can mean an image like a photograph. It is the good-looking tennis pro. It is the young son you are proud of, and who is proud of himself for who he is. It means to speak, talk, speak up, to stand for. You can see the proud young fella standing straight and looking dandy there.

Seven of Swords The thrill of getting away with something, of pulling off a risky mission, even shoplifting … the rush of the risk … gambling, taking a chance, a dare: To some of us, we live for it. To be a Marine or Navy Seal type person. To live on the wrong side of the law, whether secretly or with a swagger. To steal the weapons from the sleeping enemy’s camp is what we see on Seven of Swords’ illustration.

Two of Wands I own this town. I’ve got it made. I plan to be more profitable from my real estate holdings next year. Oh, I’ve got global plans. I’m above it all, and this is the overview. Two of Wands is about a good solid future, planning, financial subjects, real estate and banking.

Five of Swords See him smirk. This is the punk, whether a street criminal or politician or your abusive mooching roommate. This is particularly a thief, a rip-off. The story is: He was sword-fighting with his buddies, and after he won, he claimed it was a real fight, and took their swords (which is taking their estates in Middle Ages custom).

I N S T R U C T I O N S & Explanations

(Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  This is the meaning of each separate card.  This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

My mom, brother and I were going to go to an italian restaurant today for lunch. My mom wanted to invite my aunt. My brother and I said “no” it was just to be the three of us. Today my mom announces she’s not going. So, my brother and I leave and go to eat at the restaurant without her. That fits the cards for today I think.

    • Sounds like Aunt is one of those controllers. Amazing how that works. Never ceases to amaze me. I am the denouement of those folks. I walk in the room, they walk out. I smell bad to them.

Hope you and Bro enjoyed lunch. Aunt probably ordered Mama to not go. Ah, Family.

Have been reading the book “Self Discipline in 10 days.” It’s really good. It’s about working around your fears. In a way, certain fears are like these criminals who rob us of life. So today I tangled with some of them and past memories. “It got the best of me, I beat it, and now I will always be clean.” Is really encouraging. Thanks.

Yesterday and today don’t seem to be for me as much as somebody else, but I still file these thoughts away just in case something comes up…
