Guidance When you’re up you’re up, and when you’re down you’re down, a children’s song says. Memories are going to make the bad times sweet, and you can feel sorry for your misery all the way through the best of times. You can feel poor all the way to the bank, and realize how good times were when you lose what you had. Change is coming whether things are awful or wonderful. Waiting for the change, because change is always coming: Our message is that that is the sure thing.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Full instructions are at the bottom.

Guidance and the Tarot Readings are for you if you just want your daily look ahead. “Guidance” is the summary, followed by your word for word Tarot Readings from the four Rider Waite Tarot cards you see pictured here. Pick the sentences that you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them. Sentences contradict one another because negative cards, in this group reading with no question, can attach to any of the other three cards.

After hard times, the good old days are coming back.

Life is sweet and money is coming in again after being unemployed.

I miss the romance; I am going to have it again.

There’s a revival of the old sweet spirit after suffering.

Surprise! Things are looking good for you and your honey who have been through so much.

Will be getting over that miserable childhood

Suffering is over, there comes a revival of the old sweet spirit.

Is lonely and looks forward to hearing ‘I love you’ again.

A change is coming to the old way of feeling sorry for myself.

You get the money you need to make the change that’s coming.

Will be telling stories about the bad old days.

Miss the old loving we used to have, things are going to be different

Old lover will be on the way back when lonely enough.

Tarot Readings: Feeling sorry for Myself While A New Day is Dawning (Five of Pentacles + Judgment)

Going to turn over a new leaf and give to the poor.

You can feel sorry for yourself about the miserable past even as a new day is dawning.

Whenever it looks like things are going to be good again, I can afford to feel sorry for myself for the past.

If the good old days were to come back, you would still be sorry for yourself.

Life is going to be good again in spite of your mopey outlook.

Living in the past numbly when you are told about a future new life.

Child victim is going to testify.

Tarot Readings: Renovating an Old Home (Six of Cups + Judgment)

Make steady money again after all you lost on that house.

We are going to be ‘house poor’ renovating our old home.

After the old decrepit house, a new home is ahead.

Go from rags to riches renovating old houses.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings

A friend in need will have his say.

Are you going back to the old boy/girl friend who drained you dry?

He is lost without her but she will be coming back.

She is lost without him but he will be coming back.

Will still love you if we are going back to poor times.

Even Doomsday will be the good old days.

Trust will be restored when you hit bottom.

Things are always changing, whether life is sweet or miserable.

Tarot Readings: Sick Days (Five of Pentacles)

The depression you have had so long will be lifted suddenly: new life.

An ailment of the past keeps coming back.

The person you love is going to be sick again.

Giving money to a friend who is broke or sick makes a difference.

Tarot Readings: Kids Come Home (Six of Cups + Judgment)

Kids are going to come back home broke.

Sick baby is going to recover.

Childhood spent in the ghetto, you make money to get out.

You will miss being a kid when you are going through the change.

Being young involves some painful experiences, but you do get over it.

To be young again would be just as miserable the second time around.

Five of Pentacles – Six of Cups – Three of Wands

Poor times (Five of Pentacles), the good old days (Six of Cups), good times are coming (Three of Wands), a change or new phase (Judgment). There ya go. That’s our story.

Judgment also means a return, so you have either the poor times (Five of Pentacles, the ‘bums’ on the street) coming back, or the good old days (Six of Cups) coming back.

Six of Cups also means children or childhood, and Five of Pentacles also means illness or misery, so you have a sick child or a miserable childhood – with a change, a new life, coming in Judgment.

Both Three of Wands and Judgment refer to the future. Six of Cups refers to the past. Both Three of Wands and Judgment speak of good things coming. Six of Cups is the good things that were.

This is the link to the video:  TESTING to see whether it works here.

Five of Pentacles Dark night of the soul – raggedy sick folk on the freezing street – is about not seeing that the situation has improved because you are so used to the misery. It’s a phase of spirituality in theology, especially Roman Catholic. It also speaks of deficit, doing without, hitting bottom, and advice to look for the hopeful in your bad scenes.

Six of Cups The good times, the sweet love, the good old days, trust, childhood and good kids: What’s not to like in Six of Cups? It speaks of love gifts and tender times too. And, it’s about the past – the good memories, nostalgia.

Three of Wands Your ships are coming in. Money is coming in. Steady income. Just hang in there and wait. A businessman eyeballs the harbor, recognizes the ships that bring him new stock and his profits.

Judgment The Day is dawning. Time for a new phase, a new life, a big change. Recovery, revival, restored and rejuvenated. Big news. A return to a former state – almost always about a good thing there. Sudden, and sudden change. A surprise. All these meanings arise from Judgment Day, when the angel’s horn awakes the dead, which would be from Jewish theology because Christians figure they are in heaven when they die, right? Jews ‘sleep with their fathers.’

I N S T R U C T I O N S & Explanations (Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  This is the meaning of each separate card.  This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

Having a garage sale tomorrow, working myself hard today to get ready for it. Does Tarot have anything to say about how it will go? Will we sell alot?

    • Tower
Five of Wands – Sun – Three of Wands

A lot of activity (working up a sweat) (Five of Wands) that’s fun (maybe some kids running around) (Sun) and money coming in (Three of Wands) -also suggests stead activity. Then the Tower suggests something pushed over, dropped, broken, or some kind of ‘oops.’

      • Anna

This is totally what happened, lots of steady buyers all day then at the end of the day a table fell over all by itself and broke a few glasses!

        • Well! Darn! I’m impressed. Such a good description in advance about a simple physical event. That’s good, and I thank you for the verification. How strange that knowing about it, you still could not prevent it.

  2. Lori

Very good! Really speaks to me about good times coming…could be about the man or the estranged daughter…either way, good things are coming!
    Love you!

    • There’s a band of optimism we are picking up lately in readings that are about ordinary life.

Have you noticed we are out of that philosophy groove we were in for a while?

  3. Jules

It is good. Timely and helpful. Been having a blue day.
    Thank you Emily.
