Tarot Readings for You for March 22, 2013 Friday(c)

Mar 21, 2013 by

Guidance    We parallel workplace issues being worked out and coming to a spiritual realization through experiencing difficulties. We go back to our routine of peace and quiet after all hell breaks loose. We leave a job we hate, or we hate the process of leaving so much we stay on that job. The main theme today is that practical consistent action on whatever is wrong – on the problem, the disability, the difficulty – brings us back to inner peace, to a new level of it. We reach peace through conflict, a recurring theme here lately.

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

These answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute.

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

Eight of Pentacles – High Priestess – Judgment

Three out of four of our Tarot panelists refer to spiritual life, and the other to work. We have some paired cards that mean specific things, more than we usually do.

High Priestess refers to spiritual subjects. It means spiritual and the spiritual plane, and a woman who knows esoteric secrets. It also means a lady, sedentary, to remain in a place, peace and quiet. She knows all; she is an expert.

Judgment is a new life. It means awakening to spiritual awareness, a change (as in changing your ways, today), to recover or revive or rejuvenate. It also means an announcement or to say something, or even give your word. High Priestess, the expert, has her say, Judgment. High Priestess and Judgment also mean spiritual rebirth: That’s easy!

Devil also refers to spiritual life, although it means ‘physical’ and ‘wrong’ and even ‘evil.’ High Priestess and Devil make spirituality through suffering, because Devil means ‘suffering.’

Eight of Pentacles is repetitive action, work, professional, workplace, worker, and to keep doing something. Eight of Pentacles and Devil keep sinning or keep doing wrong, or are wrong every time – as well as being a disabled worker and a hostile workplace and occupational disease.

We parallel workplace issues being worked out and coming to a spiritual realization through experiencing difficulties.

Eight of Pentacles Here’s a carpenter efficiently making one object after another at his workbench. He stands for anything that is done that way, one object or one motion after another in succession, repetitively. He stands for work, workman, workplace, profession, labor … even being the one who does the hands-on part of anything.

High Priestess She just sits there quietly knowing all, passive and sedentary with symbols of Kabbalah around her, a sliver of a moon in her robe at her feet. The feminine principle. Mysterious womanhood. The one who has it figured out and isn’t letting on. She stands for expertise, especially spiritual or esoteric expertise.

Judgment The angel blows his horn and awakes the dead to new life. That is an announcement, a change, a new awareness, a spiritual rebirth. This is a return to the way things were (alive) and a healing (rejuvenation).

Devil The main branches of meaning to Devil in Tarot Verbatim(TM) are attachment, physical, wrong, mistake, problem, difficulty, evil, misdeeds, suffering, illness and disease. It refers to bad habits and addiction, and to perversions – perversions of anything, not just sex. You see the horned one, the devil of Middle Ages Christianity with the goat characteristics and the bat wings and the horns from an ancient sea creature. He squats on a pedestal, attached to which – by chains that are loose around their necks – are a male and female human. This card is deliberately patterned after the lovers card, in which Adam and Eve are beneath an angel.

EXPLANATIONS: (Skip this and the gray tags to get to Comments.)

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

Oddly enough I had many things in my personal professional life that came to a boil, and left me rather flummoxed, sure enough they all came together and seemed to work themselves out, finally offering me not only peace but also piece of mind…. Always a pleasure my sweet…….

    • All’s well that ends well. Glad everything settled into place after the stir-up, for you. Appreciate your telling me this day’s message applied to you.

  2. I contributed to that? Third-hand wisdom, huh?

  3. Jaclyn

    Hi Emily,
My Team is re-focusing on doing the job .. . instead of fighting about who’s turn it is to do what, and how hard it is, and threatening to quit if I don’t fix things for them. Amazing how peaceful things get when people just decide to do what it takes to ge the job done . .
Thanks for the insights . ..
