Tarot Readings for You for March 28, 2013 Thursday(c)

Mar 27, 2013 by

Guidance    Several very different (miscellaneous, even) situations appear here about things that do not happen or that aren’t discussed. This could be pointing us to look under the leaves for undiscovered treats. Here are some examples of what I’m talking about here: “He will marry just when he says that won’t happen. Not telling the family about his good fortune. I turn down an opportunity to be a member of a wealthy family. No one at the Company told him about his big promotion. News isn’t getting out about the Company’s windfall. Don’t tell them it was just luck. I didn’t listen when they told me how to get rich. Everyone said it couldn’t happen. A miracle that no one is told about.” That’s a lot of free-floating possibilities for one day! Look for yours!

Instructions:

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

These answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute.

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

Tarot Readings: Family Fortunes (Four of Wands and Wheel of Fortune)

Tarot Readings: Opportunity at the Company (Four of Wands and Wheel of Fortune)

Tarot Readings: Luck (Wheel of Fortune)

Tarot Readings: Marrying a (Cute) Guy (Page of Wands and Four of Wands)

He is such a ‘catch’ but he isn’t the marrying kind.

He will marry just when he says that won’t happen.

No chance of me marrying a cute guy like him.

He isn’t married: This is my big chance!

Tarot Readings: Family Fortunes (Four of Wands and Wheel of Fortune)

Not telling the family about his good fortune.

He is on his own – his family isn’t about to ‘make him.’

Doesn’t have a family – made it on his own.

His big break did not come just because of his family name.

I don’t want to hear about what a fortunate family we are.

I don’t want to hear about what a wonderful family I have.

I turn down an opportunity to be a member of a wealthy family.

Tarot Readings: Opportunity at the Company (Four of Wands and Wheel of Fortune)

This Company isn’t any kind of opportunity for a young person.

No one at the Company told him about his big promotion.

News isn’t getting out about the Company’s windfall.

Not letting the company know about your moneymaking idea.

No opportunity for a person like (you) in that Company.

Tarot Readings: Luck (Wheel of Fortune)

His party won, but he did not.

Luckily, you’re not home.

Don’t tell them it was just luck.

I would not gamble unless I were the house.

Great things like that don’t happen to people like me.

Tarot Readings: Talking and Listening (Page of Wands)

People don’t listen to my wonderful ideas.

I didn’t listen when they told me how to get rich.

I turned down a chance to be a member.

It isn’t coincidence that he told everybody.

Don’t have to tell me this house is worth a fortune.

Everyone said it couldn’t happen.

A miracle that no one is told about.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

This is an odd one. Luck (Wheel of Fortune) and what people say (Page of Wands) are featured. There’s an underlying theme that contrasts making it on your own (Page of Wands standing up for himself) and being a member – of family or company – (Four of Wands) when it comes to the big opportunity (Wheel of Fortune).

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Page of Wands Here we have the stand-up guy, the well-spoken, well-dressed fine looking young man who is every mother’s dream son and every gal’s dream date. He is on the metrosexual side, which used to be called foppish. He is the apprentice who is ready to fit in wherever will adopt him. This card means to talk and to speak up, even ‘verbal’ sometimes.

Four of Cups No. I am not accepting, not listening, I want no part of that. No way. Not this time either. Refusal. Four of Cups is one of the simple ones. He crosses his legs and his arms, averts his head even, as yet another one is offered to him. Something isn’t going to happen, you know?

Four of Wands Just as Three of Pentacles blends commerce and social or romantic relationship, Four of Wands blends family and company as well as community and political agencies and organizations. It about membership in your pod, all the way from your marriage to your national affiliations (or professional. Or racial. Whatever.) Aptly illustrated via a VIP wedding, which is a community affair and the way new VIPs are made, yes?

Wheel of Fortune The big windfall, the lucky break, destiny, karma, ‘making it,’ the miracle, opportunity or chance … the happening, or ‘It happens.’ Gambling, too. Coincidence and randomness are expressed here as parts of the great steering wheel in the sky, a steering wheel or roulette wheel or even a compass with the Hebrew ‘Name of God’ which is associated with magic, and the esoteric word ‘rota’ in a circle, which of course spells ‘taro’ too. Not to mention funky mythical critters with books outside all that.

EXPLANATIONS: (Skip this and the gray tags to get to Comments.)

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

Hmmmmm…. interesting, seems as though the tarot was written for your recipe, with the marriage of the butter and coconut oil… smiles* Well, looks very tasty anyhow,. I must admit though it sounds like this could indeed
be an exciting day, I only hope the wheel of fortune is in my corner when making a move, although I could always spin a bankrupt…. wink* I suppose only time will tell… Another masterpiece from the great Emily… Bravo my sweet bravo…

Don’t know what this is about yet. I’ll report back if/when I get an inkling

    • Card pictures are not up. Will call my tech man.

Yes, today is a puzzle. Was a puzzle when I typed it. Suspect it will grab someone.

Meanwhile here’s another Emily’s Easy Eats recipe. Put 1/2 stick butter and a glob of coconut oil in a saucepan you cook rice in, and chop 2 heads of garlic into it. On law heat, let these two get married, then put in 1 and a quarter to 1 and a half cups Basmati (very long grain, often from India) rice DRY. NO WATER. Move the rice around in the grease until there’s no more grease, on low heat. Can take 20 minutes, but you don’t have to be there – just pop in.

Add the proper amount of water for the rice you put in, preferably boiling water. Kick the heat up to medium for a while. Do not salt. You can add garbanzo beans, some ginger, marjoram, oregano, some frozen chicken breasts or stir-fried vegetables, after the rice expands some. It’s better plain, actually. Eat this at least very other day for around two or three weeks, and you will get over what ails ya. It’s a cure for the whatever. But it’s delicious, so you don’t need a complaint. I have neighbors who want some whenever I make it.
