Tarot Readings for You for April 15, 2013 Monday(c)

Apr 14, 2013 by

Guidance     Keep your eye on your own internal life, on how you think and feel about what has happened in the past and who you were in the past: Here is where your luck is hatched. This is where events are forged. When you are feeling sorry for yourself, hide out: You want to be seen as the right person for the next opportunity. Don’t admit to your inadequacies, don’t identify with your failures, and leave the door ajar for Lady Luck that way.

Instructions:

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

These answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute.

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

Tarot Readings: Making the Best of Financial Losses (Wheel of Fortune and Four of Pentacles)

I have this opportunity because I did without in the past.

Holding onto what little is left after this loss, and looking like the person who gets the big break.

You can make your miracle happen when you hold onto what money you’ve got.

Figure out how to turn this deeply felt loss into your best opportunity.

Not admitting to myself this loss was the best thing that ever happened to me.

It’s losing my butt that gave me the million-dollar idea.

Failing at what I’m not good enough at made me realize my real opportunity.

He knows the secret of how to lose money and take the loss profitably.

Tarot Readings: Keep Regrets to Yourself (Five of Cups and Four of Pentacles)

You look wonderful. Just don’t admit the things you failed at.

Your mentality or attitude makes your fortune, so keep to yourself when you are down.

I realize it was just chance, and I’m not admitting how bad I feel about it.

Keeping it quiet what a failure I was in the past (That was due to chance.), I feel lucky now.

He feels he lost his big chance, and is in hiding.

Be sad in private, but look like a winner.

He won’t admit he is sorry, but he will do something great and unexpected.

Be the miracle, and keep regrets to yourself.

Keep an eye on how you feel about who you were in the past: That is where your luck is.

Tarot Readings: Make the Best of Losses (Wheel of Fortune and Five of Cups)

Make the best of your losses by learning from them but keeping your thoughts to yourself.

Believe that what you feel as terrible things are happening for the best.

While I have lost something precious to me, my idea is to capitalize on it.

When you feel drained to the core, look for your big chance.

Not admitting to myself this loss was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I think things happen for the best when you don’t talk about the past.

Tarot Readings: Knowing How to Make It Happen or Knowing It Was Going to Happen (Wheel of Fortune and Page of Pentacles)

You can know how to work miracles and still feel inadequate about failing.

I know how things happen, so I have few regrets.

Hurting deep down inside, but I know how to make things happen.

Although I am sorry about my inadequacies, at least I know how to stage a great scene.

I knew that was going to happen and I didn’t say anything. I’m sorry.

Tarot Readings: Sorry About My Shortcomings (Five of Cups and Page of Pentacles)

Sorry about my shortcomings in the miracle-working department.

Someone who makes great things happen feels inferior like a loser.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings

Deep down, this big opportunity makes me feel I am losing my identity.

I’m a lucky person who is just haunted by not having enough in the past.

When you’re broke, your ideas about gambling are also losses.

This is another of our ‘make the best of your losses and failures’ days. Both Five of Cups and Four of Pentacles are about loss situations. Five of Cups is mourning a loss, feeling ashamed or bad, regret, the past (particularly the sad past). Past losses. Four of Pentacles is more about money (being short of money, being frugal or thrifty or cheap, holding onto money, etc.) and about keeping things private, keeping quiet. It is about feeling inadequate, about precious things you hold onto, too. These two cards are sad together.

Then we have being the lucky fella, the million-dollar idea, the winning-the-lottery mentality … in Wheel of Fortune and Page of Pentacles. Wheel of Fortune is obviously about hitting the jackpot, a miracle, a wonderful happening, being lucky and so on. Page of Pentacles is an individual and his/her idea(s).

In the middle, we have Page of Pentacles as ‘who you are and how you think.’ To the left of you is the very best that could happen; to the right is a deep loss that saddens you. The message here is: How you think affects your fortune, whether it’s a very good situation you are in or a regrettable one. The remaining card, Four of Pentacles, is a reminder that our internal life is a factor in our fate.

Wheel of Fortune A stylized and esoteric illustration here tells us that divine and infernal entities affect our fate, and suggests the process is random, that it’s about Lady Luck after all. The roulette wheel in the center has the four letters of the Hebrew Name of God as four points of what looks like a compass, and those letters are interspersed with an esoteric word (ROTA) that I’m going to look up someday that you see in ‘Rotarian’ and maybe in ‘Tarot.’ The infernal entities are represented by the critters on the outer corners who are looking at books, and the ones clinging to the outer wheel – sphinxes and a red lizard. Wheel of Fortune translates hitting the jackpot, a miracle, a wonderful happening, being lucky, the best or optimal outcome, an event as in ‘it happens’ and infers making it happen or making a miracle happen.

Page of Pentacles is a person and is thinking and feeling, or an opinion. The way he gazes at his pentacle before his face suggests a student, so it can mean that. It represents identity too … who I am, who you are, who we are, the name. The individual is likely to be young, likely to be male, and likely to be respectable.

Five of Cups A black-robed figure whose head is bent, suggesting grief, contemplates the wine that is spilled and has its back to the full cups. Five of Cups is mourning a loss, feeling ashamed or bad, regret, the past (particularly the sad past). Past losses.

Four of Pentacles He sits in the road outside of town, clinging to his money and staring straight ahead, all alone. Some decks label this card The Miser. It has many categories of meanings, seldom uses all at any one time. Four of Pentacles is more about money (being short of money, being frugal or thrifty or cheap, holding onto money, etc.) and about keeping things private, keeping quiet. It is about feeling inadequate, about precious things you hold onto, too. It means ‘internal’ in any sense, and deep-down-inside or suppressed thought and feeling.

EXPLANATIONS:

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.
