Tarot Readings for You for April 29, 2013 Monday(c)

Apr 28, 2013 by

Guidance It’s a simple theme we’ve got going today: There’s The Real Thing kind of love affair, and then there’s the more recreational, or even deceitful, love affair. We have the Prince Charming Mr. Right, we have love and marriage, we have a lighthearted ambiance, and then we have the shadow side represented.

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

.Answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

Ten of Cups

Fool – Knight of Cups – Two of Cups

Tarot Readings: Love and Marriage (Knight of Cups and Ten of Cups)

Leaving it open whether I am just a boyfriend in a love affair or whether there’s more of a family scenario going on between us.

He feels instinctively he is going to marry this one, it’s that kind of a warm attraction.

We’ve got good lust and we’ve got good love, we may as well marry.

When you feel both warm and fuzzy, and hot and bothered, you can assume you two are in the family way.

Feeling optimistic these days, having a grand love affair with a sweet guy I would just as soon be married to.

Never thought of him ‘that way,’ but it’s happily ever after with this sweet guy.

Free of a cheating partner, he is in love now to be happy together.

I didn’t know I was in love until I asked her to marry me

Tarot Readings: What you Don’t Know About Your Lover (Fool and Two of Cups)

This is a fellow you just have an affair with, he isn’t living in my house.

I don’t care if boyfriends have other partners or are married.

He is married with children, looking for a casual fling, that’s all.

I did not know my spouse was having an affair with my friend.

Had no idea the good guy of the family is such a crook.

Boyfriend has children from a marriage, and I don’t want to be party to that.

It’s not really love of my life, but he’s sweet enough to hook up with.

I don’t remember every guy I have sex with.

You don’t know who he’s been with, it could be everybody.

Happy to be free of the boyfriend who cheated.

Tarot Readings: Buddies of Unknown Repute (Knight of Cups and Two of Cups)

My friends are all good people; I don’t associate with people I don’t know about.

I assume I am being taken advantage of by one of those buddies.

We all act like the con artist in our midst is a good person.

I don’t remember which one of the people offered me the contraband.

He gets all us friends involved in something shady that we have no idea about.

He’s just one of the people in my circle, a nice enough guy, but a cheater.

We are all helpful to one another, even if we get taken advantage of.

We all assumed he was somebody else’s buddy.

Sweet charming con artist everybody knows and nobody knows.

Today we have yet another example of the party pooper card – Two of Cups this time. Why, in Rider Waite, and thus in Tarot Verbatim(TM) is it such a rain-on-your-parade card? (Well a lot of readers don’t think so, by the way.) Because of the caduceus, the funky winged lion’s head with the intertwined snakes. It is a symbol of interference from the dark side, from malefic spirits – an ancient symbol of that. It is the spell spirits, for instance, and Two of Cups can talk about that, in a given question.

The main meaning of Two of Cups is the participation of an undeclared party – so it’s a natural one for cheating, especially when it also means sexual desire, sexual hookup, sexual attraction. It can be ‘good lust’ or ‘bad lust,’ for example.

Of course, it also refers to misrepresentation, deceit, using another person, and financial or any other kind of violation of trust. You see it in the scheming that goes on regarding an estate, for instance.

So there. The rest of the Tarot folks at our table of four are talking about a beautiful love affair, a lighthearted (Fool) or even casual fling, an affectionate dreamboat of a guy (Knight of Cups, the ‘warm puppy’) … and the Ten of Cups’ love and marriage happily-ever-after Tarot card. The family card. The community or circle of good people card.

It’s a simple theme we’ve got going today: There’s The Real Thing kind of love affair, and then there’s the more recreational, or even deceitful, love affair. We have the Prince Charming Mr. Right, we have love and marriage, we have a lighthearted ambiance, and then we have the shadow side represented.

Fool This is a free-spirited lighthearted person or situation. It’s not paying attention, and not having to pay attention. The deeper meaning is that a person who is spiritual is ‘untouchable’ and doesn’t have to look over his/her shoulder, but just enjoy whatever comes by. Fool is one of the Tarot cards that has a good feeling associated with it.

Knight of Cups Here he is, Mr. Right, Prince Charming, the agreeable fellow who gets people together, the social man. He takes the initiative, he suggests, he invites, he makes the first move in love, he is The Good Guy ‘most all women are looking for.

Two of Cups In Tarot Verbatim, the focus on this card is the undeclared third party meaning arising from the caduceus (the winged lions head above intertwined snakes) which is an ancient symbol of malefic spirits’ involvement. This card’s best meaning is sexual affair, sexual attraction (‘good lust’). But it denotes cheating of any kind, including the con artist who has undeclared motives to take advantage.

Ten of Cups A group of people who ‘love one another,’ a family or community, or circle of friends – doesn’t matter, they are well-adjusted well-meaning productive folks who have some common interest. This is the happily-ever-after Rider Waite Tarot card, and it also means happiness.

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)
Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.
