Tarot Readings for You for May 1, 2013 Wednesday(c)

Apr 30, 2013 by

Guidance     So what does it all have in common? Let’s see. There’s finding out what to change, and then there’s the hard work of making that change, whether we are talking about a change of consciousness, learning skills of a job, investigating conflicts among (or between) people, or looking for some new way. Finding a new way is half the battle; there’s work to be done after that. Discovery, then maintenance: That is the process.

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

.Answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

Five of Wands

Hermit – Judgment – Eight of Pentacles

Two common phrases are what jumps out in today’s conglomeration of cards.

Hermit and Judgment are looking until you find or discover, Hermit being looking and possibly finding, and Judgment meaning discovering, realizing and being surprised.

Eight of Pentacles and Five of Wands are very commonly ‘hard work,’ Eight of Pentacles being all things pertaining to work, workplace, labor and Five of Wands being great effort, fight, struggle, and competitive activity. It also means, again obviously, strife and competitive emotions among employees. It’s also a hard job, difficulty or resistance pertaining to your work.

Of course, that’s not all there is to our messages and advices today. No, not at all. We have seeking enlightenment in Hermit and Judgment, with Hermit obviously seeking (what with the flashlight there) and Judgment being the angel making an announcement and meaning discovery and surprise, not to mention a new life ….

Hermit and Judgment sitting together there are talking about a doctor’s advice, or what an instructor (a coach, say) observes or an investigator discovers.

So what does it all have in common?

Hermit An elderly monk who is in a service order is going out at night looking for travelers on the road, to help them. He is your devoted friend and a caretaker. Sincerity, truth and facts, being on the lookout (and hence investigating) are some of Hermit’s attributes. He is one of the many cards that in Tarot Verbatim(TM) is associated with knowing – in his case, associated even with wisdom and spiritual knowledge.

Judgment Here is one of the Rider Waite Tarot cards that has several trunks of meanings – arising of course from its illustration of the angel with the horn that awakes the dead. Here are some of its today phrases: new; a new way; be this new person; a view, as they arise; arise; raises his voice; big announcement; they tell me; telling me to; advice; boldly declaring; my big revelation; realize; new; new ways; ad; discover, discovering; change; recovery; ad. You can see the trunks there, yes?

Eight of Pentacles A carpenter knocks out one identical piece after another at his work bench. A simple scene about a simple guy in Tarot Verbatim(TM): Eight of Pentacles is a worker or employee; a workplace or work site; labor (in any sense); repetitive actions, regularly, steadily, routine, sustained or continual; activity, the doing of anything.

Five of Wands Five fellows whack at one another with huge logs in what may be a fight, sport, exercise but what certainly is a huge effort, a lot of exercise, and trying really hard. It is all about action, yielding such terms as embattled, competitive, conflicts, fight and sturggle and trying so hard. It is about going against, and even about violence (any flavor).

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)
Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.
