Tarot Readings for You for May 13, 2013 Monday(c)

May 12, 2013 by

Guidance      We are still on the love train today – this makes a full week. We have the passionate man and we have lovers. We have the kind considerate devoted man who cares for, who looks out for. We emphasize all this with ‘This is who he is,’ this is his identity, and he is loving you consciously and on purpose, and is doing thoughtful things. Yay!

Instructions:

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

.Answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

Tarot Readings: Loves You, Looking to Be Your Husband (Lovers)

I see this lover as a devoted husband.

Impulsive passionate man loves you and pictures himself devoted to you.

So you’re looking at loving either a snarly wild man or a kind and considerate monogamous one.

Husband is true to you and thinks of loving only you.

The working man connects with you, feels he has something to learn from you.

Being the lover of a low-class man means you being very patient, you see?

I am looking for a passionate man to be my true love.

He is seeking you out to be your love partner and husband.

My partner is this macho man, so I am watching where he goes.

I sense the connection when my husband comes from a higher plane to be with me.

I know he is married, and is coming to be with me at night.

He is annoyed with himself that he is in love, that he is the one who seeks her out.

His loving partner can see that the bastard has mellowed.

I’m patient with the impulsive macho dude because I love him.

Husband watches out for the one he loves.

The impulsive uninhibited guy is consciously being real and being honest as your partner (He knows who he is.).

My lover was a passionate guy, and now he’s a monk.

He loves you but his ardor (passion) cools now that he is old.

Seeking a monogamous married man as a lover, are you?

The doctor is a married man looking for love.

I see my husband for what he is, and I love him anyway.

Tarot Readings: To See Oneself, to Be Seen As, To See Him As (Hermit and Page of Pentacles)

Old man sees what a hothead the young man is even when he is with him.

He sees himself as rude, and joins a friend in sobering up.

We are buddies, and I see myself when I observe his rough edges.

We are looking at this together, and I can see it makes you mad and I am just objective about it.

His partner can see that the bastard has mellowed.

There’s a connection of friendship between them, but he sees his friend as ‘common’ or low class.

The ill-tempered loutish fellow sobers up and you see him as someone you want to be around.

The old man sees his younger self as the hothead with his lovers.

He understands what a hothead he is, and seeks to connect with ‘a higher power.’

Tarot Readings: Guy with the Bad Temper (King of Wands)

He is the one who can calm the enraged man down when they are together.

The angry impulsive man has a partner who is very thoughtful and patient with him .

The excitable edgy man helps by coming here, being with me, and watching over the place.

The edgy wild man knows ‘someone up there’ is looking out for him.

The quick-tempered fellow is a patient workingman when paired with the apprentice.

An investigator is considering what connection the guy with such a bad temper has with this.

King of Wands

Lovers – Hermit – Page of Pentacles

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Hermit and Page of Pentacles are observing, looking at, seeing, knowing, and may represent someone’s view or opinion. Hermit is objective and is looking or investigating, understanding; Page of Pentacles is subjective, may even be thinking of ‘Who am I?’ or considering his own position on something. (Lovers also has an element of ‘looking out for’ with the angel overseeing the couple. That makes three out of four cards share this theme!)

Hermit’s other meanings are helping someone; being on the road, a trip; searching or looking for (a person, or whatever); being honest and sincere; being kind and considerate, even deferential or devoted; a friend; coming to (a person or place); sobriety; monogamy or celibacy; being the wise counselor or guide, being calm, mellow and patient; being an old man or person; healing or being a healer or doctor. As a monk, he also brings religion to some stories, or spirituality. Clustered with other ‘Roman Catholic culture’ Rider Waite Tarot cards, yes, he speaks of that church or individuals who hold positions in it.

Page of Pentacles other meanings are identity (being the person who; thinking of yourself or myself as), being young, being an apprentice; being an acceptable ‘nice guy’ sort of person; having any characteristic or trait that makes a ‘he is’ phrase; seeing yourself or another for what you are or what he is; thinking about it (as opposed to acting upon it); consciously, being aware in ‘the real world’ of something (as opposed to, say, Hanged Man’s unconscious or telepathic or paranormal awareness); sensing or feeling something. Page of Pentacles is a person who is in good shape.

That leaves Lovers and King of Wands. Well, that is a husband who loves you, as ‘regulars’ here know. It’s also the passionate man who loves you or is your lover. Lovers also means partner or a pair of people or buddies/friends who are connected, so these two cards in Rider Waite and Tarot Verbatim(TM) mean things like ‘my wild and crazy partner.’

Lovers is a complex card. Its main trunk means a connection. Besides the obvious meaning of ‘lovers’ in any form, it’s people (a pair) who are connected in any way, as in ‘They were both there.’

The angel looking out for Adam and Eve represents God, God’s protection, angelic protection, someone watching out or watching over (which Hermit also means, by the way). It means to pair up or join with another person, or sometimes to associate yourself with or even be around another person.

King of Wands is the common man, maybe the low class fella (see Merle Haggard’s songs), macho man (maybe redneck), the impulsive or uninhibited man, the angry, irritable, edgy fella, even the bastard. He is the husband card (via Queen of Wands being the ‘housewife,’ the woman who runs the house in an orderly way). But, wait, that’s not all: He is the passionate man, the wild and crazy fella with the lampshade on his head at the party, the one who puts his hands on and actually does the work – the workingman.

Lovers There’s Adam and Eve – you can identify them by their trees – with the volcano behind and between them, the angel watching them from above, and the sun.

Hermit There’s the monk out looking for people to help, with his lantern at night on the trail. Main meanings are observing, looking at, seeing, knowing, and it may represent someone’s view or opinion. Hermit is objective and is looking or investigating, understanding. Hermit is also searching or looking for (a person, or whatever); being honest and sincere; being kind and considerate, even deferential or devoted; a friend; coming to (a person or place); sobriety; monogamy or celibacy; being the wise counselor or guide, being calm, mellow and patient; being an old man or person; healing or being a healer or doctor. As a monk, he also brings religion to some stories, or spirituality. Clustered with other ‘Roman Catholic culture’ Rider Waite Tarot cards, yes, he speaks of that church or individuals who hold positions in it.

Page of Pentacles A young man contemplates his Pentacle soberly. He is well-dressed, clean-cut. He is observing, looking at, seeing, knowing, and may represent someone’s view or opinion. Page of Pentacles is subjective, may even be thinking of ‘Who am I?’ or considering his own position on something. He is very much about identity (being the person who; thinking of yourself or myself as), being young, being an apprentice; being an acceptable ‘nice guy’ sort of person; having any characteristic or trait that makes a ‘he is’ phrase; seeing yourself or another for what you are or what he is; thinking about it (as opposed to acting upon it); consciously, being aware in ‘the real world’ of something (as opposed to, say, Hanged Man’s unconscious or telepathic or paranormal awareness); sensing or feeling something. EXPLANATIONS: SKIP THIS (AND THE TAGS) TO GO TO COMMENTS, BELOW. (Use the arrow on the right lower screen.)

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)
Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

Yes, a week of LOVE. Maybe it’s momentum… don’t see him yet.

    • Jules

P.S. I want the kind and considerate, monogamous one.

    • F. Y. I. I have started a Pinterest Page ‘Meet the People in Tarotland’ or maybe it was ‘meet the folks.’ Anyway, I am putting the day’s cards with links there, hoping to entice some new visitors. But you guys can go there to look up cards for your own spreads.
