Tarot Readings for You for May 14, 2013 Tuesday(c)

May 13, 2013 by

Guidance      Today we talk about love and money … oh, that. The role money plays in a marriage and the role money plays in whether to marry. We have a possessive woman paired up with a studly manipulative man. We have a wife who is a business backer or partner. We have a guy who does exactly as he pleases and a caretaking woman who may or may not be the marrying kind. We have another day of love in Tarotland.

Instructions:

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

.Answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

This is an intriguing layout. Three court cards are mainly three people, and all three of them are take-charge skilled and/or powerful folks.

We clearly have a story about a married couple (or marrying couple) without any of the marriage cards. Why? Well, in the center is Queen of Wands, the wife or married woman. She also means the manager of home and/or business, the woman who runs an orderly home or enterprise. That’s the meanings we employ of hers today.

On either side of her are the Queen and King of Pentacles, clearly a couple, and more than likely a married couple. Both of them refer to money, influence and/or power. Queen of Pentacles can be possessive, and King of Pentacles can be manipulative – the studmuffin stereotype.

Above them all is the negative-making Two of Swords. It doesn’t get in the way as much today as it usually does. Several times it translates as ‘not just a’ instead of ‘not a.’

Queen of Pentacles Among symbols of fertility, she sits in Spring with money in her hands. This is the matriarch. She fusses over her man, she owns her man, she manages the money of the family, she may be possessive of her man, may baby him in that superior way women have sometimes. She is a bookkeeper or financial backer. She is a loyal and emotional woman who is very much about family.

Queen of Wands She is indoors with that watchful look about her as she sits on her throne with a flower in one hand and a stick in the other. She is a dominant but reasonable domestic and married woman who is skilled at running an orderly business and/or household. She is the plain sensible no-nonsense woman, The Mama.

King of Pentacles Here’s the flashy influential fellow with the Italianesque grapes upon his robes, looking smug and smirky, the Italian Stallion or studmuffin, the powerful politician or money man, the mobster … or the proud fella who inhabits the pool hall as his turf. He is about the studly sexy charismatic influential fella with money (or the smell of it) who is manipulative, does as he pleases, and expects service.

Two of Swords No way. It stops here. You can’t do that. It isn’t happening. Roadblock. Stymied. NO! (Similar meanings to Four of Cups.) She is blindfolded, sitting on a plain small bench by water in her nightdress or underwear, and her crossed arms bear two heavy swords that counterbalance one another.

EXPLANATIONS: SKIP THIS (AND THE TAGS) TO GO TO COMMENTS, BELOW. (Use the arrow on the right lower screen.)

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)
Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.
