Tarot Readings for You for May 2, 2013 Thursday(c)

May 1, 2013 by

Guidance Our discussion today is to take the initiative, to do what gets people together in agreement to act, to settle up, or to exchange with one another, in both personal and business settings. We say he will take initiative to make a relationship close.

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

.Answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

Three of Pentacles

Temperance – Magician – Ace of Swords

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Tarot Readings: Our intimate relationship (Temperance and Three of Pentacles)

The three of us have to get together so I can introduce you to my close friend.

He makes more friends, both one-on-one and in meetings, than anyone can.

Get yourself over there and you will meet up with a close friend. Do it!

There’s one thing he has to do for us to have a close relationship.

I’ve got to have an intimate relationship with that guy, he’s a doer.

This is the best close relationship I have ever had with a guy.

Tarot Readings: Good People for Us to Deal with (Temperance and Three of Pentacles)

Listen, we’ve got to do this between us and them; it’s such a good deal for all concerned.

We know him well enough that he is doing this very big thing for us.

Getting him to do this for us is imperative, and we will do our part, too.

We put our heads together, and, by golly, we DID it! – We have a deal.

We have ourselves the best possible deal by each doing his fair share.

We force him to settle up with us.

He has to involve his partner in the deal.

Dealing with a guy who rules … the angels are on his side.

With him on your side, you win the lawsuit.

A contract requires parties to perform.

We agree together on a drastic action.

Three of Pentacles

Temperance – Magician – Ace of Swords

Magician’s trunk meanings are simple: initiate, do, make, and male. Ace of Swords also lives at ‘do’ and ‘make’ and ‘initiate,’ and is also associated with male – and it is more associated with force, as in ‘must.’ They are applied differently of course, but you could call them relatives.

The other two Tarot folks at our conference table both mean relationship and dealing with or making a deal. In Temperance, it is one-on-one and direct, even intimate. In Three of Pentacles, the emphasis is on any kind of agreement, meeting, deal or arrangement, whether business or social, and among or between any number of people, although it is often three. (In investigations, when it appears, there are three people involved in whatever Tarot is speaking of.)

Because we have two pairs of cards meaning very similar things, we make far fewer sentences which have far less variety than usual.

Our discussion today is to take the initiative, to do what gets people together in agreement to act, to settle up, or to exchange with one another, in both personal and business settings. We say he will take initiative to make a relationship close.

Temperance Temperance was grafted onto the deck in the Middle Ages to deflect witchcraft criticism, which was fatal then. The illustration exemplifies the virtue of diluting wine with water so as to not feel too good. It should mean dilution and display of virtue … but in Tarot Verbatim, it doesn’t; it means close relationship, hand-to-hand deal, direct communication, partners, being together, being on the same side, a couple, a team, and of course a deal.

Magician He stands (action) at his table, one arm (with the magic wand) raised and one pointing groundward to bring down what he is fetching from above. This is the fellow who does, who makes, who starts or initiates or introduces. Conjugate ‘do’ and ‘make’ and that’s largely what he means, along with being the male (Male principle is his esoteric meaning.) and initiating.

Ace of Swords means absolute, and its illustration is overkill: Laurel leaves on the sword would be enough to say ‘winner’ and ‘champion,’ but we got a crown there too. Okay. We got it. Orders, imperative, you gotta, you must. An upraised sworn connotes a threat, war, the had way … no compromise to be had.

Three of Pentacles Here’s the builder showing his clients he followed the blueprint and is entitled to be paid his final, largest, draw. We get together, we get along, we have a fair exchange, a mutual relationship in which both or all parties do their part. It can be a settlement; and since it refers to a contract, can be legal proceedings as well.

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)
Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

  1. Jaclyn

This is a very encouraging reading . .. there is every indication that my man-friend is ready to take the initiative to be more than friends. Wouldn’t that be nice . . .

    • Would fit in with all the housekeeping you have done on your own self shelf these days, too.

  2. Anna

Yes I’ve met someone and he is doing his part

    • That is a victory, YAY, even if
he proves a stray. You deserve
this. The sizzle of victory, I
can hear and smell it from here.
