Tarot Readings for You for May 4, 2013 Saturday(c)

May 3, 2013 by

Guidance     All of a sudden, I’m in love; you got me wanting to marry you.”Today is about influences on people, including influences that lurk beneath our radar. We talk about the good and positive community of people who channel the divine influence and therefore change the course of a person who was headed in the opposite direction. In the same breath, we also speak of being misled and getting the heck out of a bunch of people who are only pretending to be the Good Guys. A happy ending is to be had in all this today.

Instructions:

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’swhat’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

.Answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

Tarot Readings: Love and Marriage (Ace of Cups and Ten of Cups)

Going back to the spouse I love, after some betrayal.

A love relationship is turning into a marriage behind my back.

We pretend we are happy together, when we are anything but loving to one another.

I don’t love you anymore but I am here in my role as your partner.

All of a sudden it’s true love and you’re about to get married in spite of yourself.

Lovers get back together and are happy in any way we can be.

Tarot Readings: People Who Get Along (Ace of Cups and Ten of Cups)

Slipping back into the role of getting along affectionately with everyone and fitting in.

The family comes around to accepting the black sheep.

All of a sudden, I am led into cooperating with people I am really compatible with.

Consider it a rush to get this home happy, loving and prosperous by any means possible.

Am in a hurry to, by any means possible, get a group of likeminded people to cooperate together.

We all love one another, we come back when we stray.

He gets himself in the good graces of everybody all of a sudden.

The family gets out of double-crossing one another and cooperates as a team.

The influence of all these positive people is for your own good, to change you around.

Tarot Readings: Heading the Other Way (Knight of Swords)

The easy way is counterproductive; get back to old-fashioned values.

When it seems easy, and everybody is doing it, head the other way.

Whatever everybody accepts is a trap: Head in the opposite direction.

People who head in the opposite direction of being really good people have their excuses ready.

These folks only act like they are good: quite the opposite.

You think you are one of them, and they are good people, and then you are out of there.

Quit bullshitting one another and cooperate, already!

Tricks people you know to go in the opposite direction of what is good for them.

It only seems like good times – Let’s go back to the real thing.

It only seems like the return of good times for us.

Tarot Readings: Good Health (Ace of Cups)

Alternative community is the one that restores good health.

The good health of the community is unexpectedly undermined.

Reverse or undo what is undermining your health, and you will be perfectly normal.

All of a sudden everybody he is deceiving makes peace.

Tarot Readings: God’s People/Good People (Ace of Cups and Ten of Cups)

God changes my direction just as I was fooling everybody.

I am running away from God but acting like one of the good people.

God’s people are phonies, I am outa here.

That crook changes his ways and loves everybody.

People who are genuinely good seduce the rest of us into changing our ways.

The influence of God’s people changes things in hidden ways.

Tarot Readings: Pretending, Not Really One of Them (Six of Wands)

I am misled, again, by a group of likeminded folks with warm fuzzy vibes.

I go along with the b.s., but I am not one of these people.

I head off counter to the loyalties of the tribe I belong to and love.

Suddenly it’s so easy to exit the lifestyle that had me sucked in.

I only pretend to belong; it’s easy to get out.

It’s no longer to my benefit to be one of you; I’m outa here.

Leaves because it is no longer beneficial to him to pretend to be one of us.

Hmmm. The smoldering smell of drama smoke (before the flames, you know) is in our air here. Oh yeah, Six of Wands is baaack!, he of the pretense, b.s., sabotage or undermining. (Sigh.) Sometimes he is just a subtle influence in the background if he is aspected the way he is today.

But, as pervasive as his influence is, by golly, today, he is in such good company his influence may be countermanded. What is this pervasive positive influence?

Well, gee, looka here: Ace of Cups and Ten of Cups. Ace of Cups is cooperation, love, God, health, serendipitous flow of good feelings. Ten of Cups is that same warm fuzzy vibe spread among a group of likeminded … warm fuzzy likeminded … people, a community of good people. Ten of Cups is a majority, hence, a community. The two of them together are God’s people or the ‘salt of the earth’ type people. Ten of Cups makes the dominant sentence for this spread “All of a sudden, I’m in love; you got me wanting to marry you.”

Our remaining card creates excitement, drama! In our scenario or our story today. Knight of Swords is suddenly, going in the opposite direction, a change, to switch, to go back, and the opposite of ….

Today is about influences on people, including background influences. We talk about the good and positive community of people who channel the divine influence and therefore change the course of a person who was headed opposite direction. In the same breath (Tarot being the equal-opportunity messenger that it is, you know) we also speak of being misled and getting the heck out of a bunch of people who are only pretending to be the Good Guys.

See, Six of Wands is phoniness, pretense, and Knight of Swords is to change or switch. Two cards that both mean ‘It’s all good’ complete the picture. So the stories in our today book go all over the place. Their main point is, therefore, the influence that does change things, and that that influence may lurk beneath the radar.

Ace of Cups This illustration is taken from Roman Catholic culture: The holy dove, the holy wafer, the five flows, the fountain. It depicts a human channeling God’s presence. Ace of Cups’ main application is true (unconditional) love, cooperation, no harm, benefit and beneficial, ease (and easy), health, good as in ‘It’s all good,’ and flow of water or other liquid (including a leak or hemorrhage). ‘Go with the flow’ is an Ace of Cups bumper sticker.

Knight of Swords is moving, and moving fast. He makes words like: rush, hurry, speeding, fast, fly by. He is usually pursuing, but can be fleeing or leaving: Look at the rest of the story to determine that. He is about switching, changing, going in another direction, or turning around, and going back or coming back. He also means ‘the opposite’ or alternative choice.

Six of Wands Appearances are deceiving. The illustration in Rider Waite of this Tarot card is the story of the betrayal of King Richard III of England. In a battle against Arabs, he won, but was captured, which was a plot by the next in line to the throne, who made sure Richard never got home. Pyrrhic victory: ‘Yeah, I won, I got the job, but ….’ That is why, in Tarot Verbatim, this is a fairly ominous card. Today its meanings about pretending to belong and to be a Good Guy, about a sneaky influence, being misled, and general hypocrisy are featured because the good people are the subject of the spread, so the major betrayal and scheming is, well, beneath the radar today.

Ten of Cups Happily Ever After would be the title that had this Rider Waite illustration as its cover. Ten of Cups extends the idea of a happy marriage to a community of happy people who get along with one another, have things in common, and are prosperous. Being normal, being a team, positive thinking, old-fashioned values, lifestyle, being likeminded, belonging or fitting in or being well-adjusted, and having something in common, the tribe, a group such a coworkers. The Moral Majority – remember them?

EXPLANATIONS: SKIP THIS (AND THE TAGS) TO GO TO COMMENTS, BELOW.

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)
Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.
