Tarot Readings for You for June 16, 2013 Sunday(c)

Jun 15, 2013 by

Guidance     Things that we are not paying much attention to change, and we wonder. We wonder whether we should leave, whether it’s over, whether we should still be paying, or will be paid what we are worth if we move away. We wonder where something went, and that ‘something’ might be the mind we are wondering that with. [It’s Sunday; take a nap.]

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day. ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages to everyone. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. THEN, the family of commenters here would love for you to join in.

Tarot Readings: Is this Getting what Is Deserved? (Page of Cups and Six of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: Seems Not the Way It Used to Be (Page of Cups and Six of Swords)

.

Tarot Readings: Is It Really Over? (Six of Swords and Page of Cups)

Has (he) really left me behind, or will I be getting attention?

I see myself withdrawing; why should I be paying any attention?

I get the point: You are wondering if I put you behind.

I’m wondering if my hard times are over and I’m gonna get paid now.

Tarot Readings: Is this Getting what Is Deserved? (Page of Cups and Six of Pentacles)

I think someone got out of there before (he) got what (he) deserves.

I think I had better leave before I give them what they deserve.

I thought I was going to be given the forwarding address. wherever you moved to.

Do you get what’s coming to you if you leave before it’s delivered?

I thought I got over that, why am I getting another dose?

Tarot Readings: Wondering About Money (Page of Cups and Six of Pentacles)

What are we paying him? – he doesn’t seem to be the same person he was.

Wonder how much money I will get when you depart this world ….

There must be some way out of me getting paid.

I think I would be paid more if I went overseas.

Is it a good idea to pay the debts, or should we just quit?

I am not going to be this dumb about spending money from now on.

From now on, I will be asking the price.

What was I thinking? – once the money is spent, it’s gone.

They left as soon as they got the money, and now I think I know why.

I have in mind to move away, but question whether I can afford it.

I no longer even ask whether I will be paid what I am worth.

Tarot Readings: Seems Not the Way It Used to Be (Page of Cups and Six of Swords)

He seems to be treating people with respect now – not the way he used to be.

It looks like the worst is over and things are all right.

Now that he has paid his dues, he thinks he will put his smudgy past behind him.

I see myself not here anymore, I don’t get any respect, like I’m stupid or something.

Tarot Readings: Where Did My Mind Go? (Page of Pentacles and Six of Swords)

My mind wanders; I don’t seem to pay much attention.

I no longer wonder whether I’m doing the right thing anymore.

Where did my mind go, and will I get it back?

What does it say about me when they pay me to leave?

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

When half your spread is self-centered thinking and feeling, and one of those two cards means ‘a dummy’ and calls for a question mark, you’re in for some strange rumination.

Page of Pentacles is looking at oneself, one’s image, thinking in a self-centered way, pondering. Page of Cups is feeling awkward, wondering, looking silly, and instructs us to put this sentence into question form.

Six of Swords is leaving, putting something behind, getting over something, avoiding or getting out of something, and the worst is over.

Six of Pentacles is getting or giving or an exchange. You pay, you are being paid, you get or give attention. It is also about doing the right thing, being treated fairly, and doing the same to others.

Things that we are not paying much attention to change, and we wonder. We wonder whether we should leave, whether it’s over, whether we should still be paying, or will be paid what we are worth if we move away. We wonder where something went, and that ‘something’ might be the mind we are wondering that with. [It’s Sunday; take a nap.]

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Page of Pentacles     Pages are about identity, a lot. Page of Pentacles is living the examined life, he is: He ponders how he looks, who he is. He is a thinker, and he is an observer. He is pictured pondering his pentacle.

Six of Swords     Leaving the bad times, the bad scene, the bad people behind and heading off to what has to be better: a sweet-and-sour blend of relief and regret. Beginning over with nothing has its unique glories and pleasures. Closing a chapter is sometimes worth washing your hands of its contents. That is what the mother and child are doing on this gray evening in an open boat.

Page of Cups    Huh? Say what? Who, me? I dunno. This fellow looks the part of a defective human unit. That’s you when you don’t know what – don’t know what to do, don’t know who to be, feel awkward and don’t fit in. He carries a fish in a cup, has that slow look on his face, and is dressed inappropriately.

Six of Pentacles     I know what is fair and I am doing it. I am being paid what my labor is worth. I get delivery, I get attention – and I give and get what’s appropriate, what’s fair. We see an employer carefullly weigh coins he pays the help because back then coins had actual value and lost it as they wore down.

EXPLANATIONS: [Use the arrow at lower right to skip this and go to Comments.]

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ card because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question which provides at least half the information! In an individual’s reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.

This reading captures my intense contemplation and self examination today “I thought I got over that, why am I getting another dose?” I just found out about an individual in my workplace denigrating the work of my Team . . .”I know what is fair and I am doing it.” I think the message is to deal with it swiftly and fiercely.

Will need to call you to clarify a specific strategy . . .

      • Tarot seems to be following you around, as I have said before. Wait ’til you see tomorrow’s, the 18th’s. It delves into some of the things you have mentioned.

It is one of those spreads with three cards that all mean very very similar things. Difficult to do, and impressive (to me anyway) when I finished and posted it just now.

Where are the comments, people? I’m gonna get a day job.
