Guidance     Our story is: We figured out what the problem was; we applied the solution to prevent some harm, and applied it in a non-confrontational, even kindly, way; and we put that behind us, went on from there. The end.

Tarot Readings: Figuring Out the Solution and Applying It (Queen of Cups and Strength)

The solution you thought of settles it; now go on from there.

A lady who has been ‘too nice’ figures out how to be assertive enough to get the respect she deserves, and she is on her way.

You know how to hush up the people who are getting in the way, to get them out of the way of what is right.

Sweet-natured woman has the idea of what is right; she won’t let the harm they are doing go any farther.

She is such a decent person but she puts her foot down: Do right, or leave.

I now have such strong ideas of what is right that I cause people who would get in my way to get out of my way.

Am thinking the right thing to do here is to avoid solving other people’s problems myself.

Don’t just take the thoughts that you have been given: Apply them your way.

You head off in another direction when you use your own influence on ideas you have accepted.

I don’t think that way anymore; I am straightening myself out through what I’m getting now.

Sweet li’l gal gets him to straighten out his ways.

She gets the right idea about him and makes herself leave that scene.

Now that she has taken charge, she can see things are going to be fair.

Tarot Readings: Inspiring and Influencing (Queen of Cups and Strength)

She is just the one to get him on the right track to a better future.

My faith in you (I know you’re a good guy) is just the right thing to influence you to get past the recent past.

Tarot Readings: Headed in the Right Direction, A New Phase (Six of Pentacles and Six of Swords)

Now that she has overcome her vice, she figures she is out of that phase and is now to be treated with respect.

I put behind my naïve way of looking at things behind, and now expect people to treat me right.

I am forced to see life in terms of fair exchanges from now on.

Now that she is not on salary anymore, she contemplates being independent.

Some correct input has straightened (us) out; (we) don’t think that way anymore.

Tarot Readings: Money, Payment, Salary, Etc. (Six of Pentacles)

Thinking it out, the solution is to not make the payments anymore.

She knows how to get him to pay the bills: just head on out.

Miscellaneous Tarot Reading

She gets attention by being blond and avoiding solving her own problems.

Both Six of Pentacles and Strength mean doing the right thing. They also are in the category of correcting or justice, in a general way.

Six of Pentacles is a fair exchange, giving and getting respect, attention and money. It is also paying out and receiving – input. The phrase ‘putting my two cents in’ is reminiscent of this application of Six of Pentacles. Getting what one deserves is very much Six of Pentacles’ territory, what with the scales of justice weighing the coins the laborers are receiving.

Strength is getting another to do right, do no harm – is straightening him, her or self out – and that includes overcoming a personal flaw or situation – solving an interaction problem. Strength is about being a deterrent, about directly influencing one’s environment to prevent trouble or problems. “People don’t mess with that person.” So Strength is the solution, applies the solution – and does it deftly through personal ‘vibes,’ without confrontation. (Other cards can add a confrontation if there is one.)

Six of Swords, in this present company, simply says the problem goes away, things are going to be better now, you can put the experience of overcoming behind and go on with life.

This is a very good spread for the last stages of overcoming, say, drugs or alcohol or some other vice – putting the finishing touches on the victory and going on from there.

Queen of Cups is sitting over there as the idea, the thought, the thinking behind the process in our story. She is also putting in her usual appearance as the sweet-natured, maybe naïve lady, the person whose faith in us inspires us to do better (so as not to let her down).

Our story is: We figured out what the problem was; we applied the solution to prevent some harm, and applied it in a non-confrontational, even kindly, way; and we put that behind us, went on from there. The end.

Queen of Cups She sits over there thinking, this sweet-natured blond lady with all the good intentions. Today she stands for the thought behind improving someone by inspiring him, having faith in him. In another part of our stories, it’s herself she thinks of, her own thoughts she is operating on. The water around her chair symbolizes her emotional nature as she dreamily gazes at some doodad she holds.

Six of Swords When you have lived and learned, that feeling you get of “Okay. That’s over with.” Better times are ahead even if you have an ever-so-bad taste in your mouth and a heavy heart. Life goes on and so do you. A mother leaves some bad scene on a gray day, with her child, in an open boat with just the clothes on her back.

EXPLANATIONS: [Use the arrow at lower right to skip this and go to Comments.]

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ card because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question which provides at least half the information! In an individual’s reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.

This is very important advice for me today. Need ot move forward with positive action plans at work-place. Not dredge up miseries of the past.. Thanks Emily. .. .

If you only knew how well this fit the trouble in paradise over here… Winning people over, opposition turned friendly, lies and deception, and being at peace with it all.

    • You are a master of that operation, so, yes, your report goes down easy. I find that, when people realize you don’t care what their motives are, and, no, they are not central to your scheme of things, well, they behave because you’re no fun to misbehave with.
