Tarot Readings for You for June 5, 2013 Wednesday(c)

Jun 4, 2013 by

Guidance     There comes a point when we get it that someone isn’t what he (or she) pretends to be. There comes a point when we know someone we are dealing with isn’t about to do his or her part. Tarot is always paralleling personal relationships with money transactions which of course are also relationships. There are powerful folks who downplay their influence, and there are pretenders to power and influence. And there is the point at which it becomes apparent which is which.

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are telling you about for today. ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages the cards are conveying to everyone who visits. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Tarot Readings: The Manipulative Cheapskate (Four of Pentacles and King of Pentacles)

He sees he can be master of the exchange by not reciprocating.

He knows he can get the upper hand by being cheap in this deal.

Knows how to get someone close, and latches onto men who show money.

I see what what’s going on between us here: He does not have the money he acts like he has.

He is acting like some bigshot because he doesn’t have the money to do this transaction, but (I) see through that.

I know the type I am dealing with. He is masterful at paying as little as possible.

I see he isn’t about to come up with his part in our relationship, the manipulative bastard.

Tarot Readings: Studmuffin Isn’t Responsive (Four of Pentacles and King of Pentacles)

Realizes this is a mutual intimate relationship and restrains his crafty side.

Senses he can manipulate a close companion by refusing to communicate.

A sexy guy who won’t be direct one-on-one is the kind of relationship that turns (her) on.

You know he is manipulating whenever he won’t express intimacy.

Won’t let myself be too close with this guy, I know he is such a studmuffin.

I do sense that an intimate relationship with Studmuffin is not forthcoming.

I know when to shut up in a close relationship with a flashy guy.

Not responding to those princely dudes. I know an equal partner when I see one.

Others see him as the studmuffin type and won’t have a relationship.

He drains me so dry with his manipulations but I see it coming now whenever I deal with him.

Tarot Readings: Dealing with Arrogant Bankers, Politicians, etc. (Temperance and King of Pentacles)

As soon as you realize he is being arrogant, don’t deal directly with him.

I knew he was being highhanded as soon as he wouldn’t admit he knows that person well.

I know how to deal with self-important dudes who feel inferior deep down.

The idea to hang onto my money when my buddy – the mover and shaker – is involved.

I get the idea: Deal with bankers as little as possible.

Deep down, the boss is insecure when he realizes I am his equal.

He is becoming aware that he isn’t masterful enough to manipulate me.

When I’m broke, I know I gotta see the banker.

I don’t have anything to do with politicians because I know how they deal with people.

A guy who is that full of himself is empty and he knows it when it comes time to reciprocate.

Tarot Readings: Dealing with the Powerful Man (Temperance and King of Pentacles)

I know I won’t be able to deal directly with the powerful man.

Powerful man realizes his partner is sulking.

Now that he is a recognized VIP, people won’t talk freely with him.

He is a master of telepathy, so I am not opening up to him.

I know it but I’m not letting on that my close buddy is influential.

If you are master of the art of the deal, you know when to shut up.

Not admitting I do have direct access to a powerful man I am on the same wave length with.

Not letting on that the VIP and I read one another’s minds.

It’s apparent he isn’t powerful enough to deal as an equal here.

He makes things happen and is very secretive about that, but I know who we are dealing with here.

Men who have money are so cheap. You realize that when you have any dealings with them.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Stories galore for today. Very descriptive language of types we all deal with, and maybe have been ourselves, or are being ourselves.

The very first scenario that leaps from this quatrain of Tarot citizens is: Four of Pentacles is short of money or cheap; King of Pentacles is the fella who flashes the cash and either is or acts influential – the manipulative type; Temperance is dealing with another person, the deal itself, or two people who are close; and Hanged Man knows, realizes and senses, including sensing what is in another’s mind.

Four of Pentacles refuses to communicate, is secretive, even stingy. Temperance is dealing openly and directly.

There comes a point when we get it that someone isn’t what he (or she) pretends to be.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Four of Pentacles Here is a picture of someone who is not part of the community (outside of town sitting in the road), who is hugging himself (not being responsive, emotionally blocked), who is holding onto his money for dear life (broke or cheap). Sometimes this card is advice to shut up about something, to restrain yourself about something, or to take time for yourself and not deal with … ‘it.’

.

Temperance The pouring back and forth of wine and water to blend them describes dealing with people in any way you deal with people: the reciprocating, the back-and-forth that is the cloth of life on earth. This Rider Waite card is about direct one-on-one relationships unless another card butts in and modifies its meaning.

.

Hanged Man Upside down with your head on fire describes that disoriented who’d-a-thunk-it feeling you get when the thought strikes you … that you knew all along and never quite put together – that ‘I coulda had a V8’ hindsight insight. When the subconscious, which knew all along, drops the bomb fact into your brain, and makes you dizzy there for a while. Hanged Man usually translates ‘realize’ or ‘recognize,’ and often means sense, know, ‘get it.’ It refers to psychic and paranormal communication, mindreading, and being on the same page as another.

.

King of Pentacles We stumble onto stereotypes with this Rider Waite fellow. He is all duded up in Italianesque trappings: His robe is full of grapes, for goodness’ sake. He is the attention-getting VIP sort. He can be the pretender to the throne of influence. He can be the manipulative studmuffin or manipulative bankster. Even a pool hall hustler. But he can also be the real deal, the powerful man, the man with money, the influential friend whom you value.

EXPLANATIONS: [Use the arrow at lower right to skip this and go to Comments.]

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ cards because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In an individual situation, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.

Yup, A little sad to have a romance end this way.

He is becoming aware that he isn’t masterful enough to manipulate me.

Perfectly sums up my performance evaluation I had yesterday.

    • How interesting that Tarot picked up on that – and that the boss expressed those things. Thank you for this contribution, Lori.
