Tarot Readings for You for June 9, 2013 Sunday(c)

Jun 9, 2013 by

Guidance     Today’s main focus is on getting yourself out of complications, mostly of other people’s agendas. We say things like “I got myself into this mess with them, and I think I am extracting myself out of it, but I got my eye on it just in case.” There’s advice like “Ponder acting tough enough to free yourself from some of the restrictions you live with.” And there’s stories like “Got myself into some unintended complications when I went and did something on the spur of the moment, and now I am wondering what the best way to present myself is.”

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day. ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages to everyone. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. THEN, the family of commenters here would love for you to join in.

Tarot Readings: Getting Out of a Fix (Six of Wands and Sun)

Ponder acting tough enough to free yourself from some of the restrictions you live with.

Most important thing, when you suspect somebody of cheating you, is to detach yourself from restricting his/her uninhibited behavior.

Got myself into some unintended complications when I went and did something on the spur of the moment, and now I am wondering what the best way to present myself is.

More than anything else, I want to get myself out of ‘looking out for number one’ somehow.

Looking for ways to get free of whatever the underlying condition or problem is.

All I want is to get free of the games somehow.

Try getting free of wondering about all the things that could go wrong by focusing on priorities.

There must be some way to avoid letting perfectly innocent things sabotage my concentration.

If I’ve got an autoimmune problem, I am going to figure out how to get over it.

I got myself into this mess with them, and I think I am extracting myself out of it, but I got my eye on it just in case.

Tarot Readings: Pretending to Be What (He) Isn’t (Six of Wands)

A ruffian (punk) who wonders about presenting himself as the charming guy he is not.

I aim to act like – to seem to be – this nice charming person, but wonder whether I can.

It’s all about this person pretending to be something he/she is not, and whether I should just have some fun with it.

Now that that’s over, I really wonder why I saw him that way when he seemed like such a nice person.

I think they got all the cancer out, but they are still watching it.

Tarot Readings: The Playboy, the Brat (Sun)

I think I should pay attention when someone acts this charming.

He’s a little playboy … got one thing on his mind … who he can take advantage of.

He left home young and ambitious wondering what game he was going to get himself into.

I think this guy with the muscles is really cute and ready to fool around.

Oh what a clever little boy he is, finding ways to get past the rules.

Being a brat seems like the best way to outsmart them.

Fun can distract us from our ambitions, huh?

Tarot Readings: Ponder, Ask, Figure Out How (Seven of Pentacles)

Pay attention to unintended consequences when you ponder cutting loose and breaking the rules.

The main thing when you ask questions of someone you mistrust is to be casual and spontaneous.

Somehow, he is going to get his little brat’s attention, any way he can.

Interesting mix. Seven of Pentacles is speculating about things, Knight of Pentacles is the focus upon those things, Six of Wands is any kind of subterfuge you can name, and there’s Sun being its irrepressible brat self, or becoming free of restrictions – free of the schemes and/or the speculation about them. Quite the story.

Sun with Six of Wands is getting out of games, or escaping something you are enmeshed in, but Sun with Six of Wands is also the charming sleazeball, the brat who callously screws us over. (I have come to the hypothesis at least – maybe not come to the conclusion – that these contradictory things we frequently get showered with represent a situation that we could express either way, depending on what we do with the raw material of it. That gives one pause ….)

The other pair of cards are strange bedfellows: One is concentrating on one thing and motivated to a priority (Knight of Pentacles, of course), and one is pondering, speculating, musing and wondering … just doesn’t know (Seven of Pentacles). Like “I know it’s vitally important, but, gee, I don’t know what it is.” Like forgetting where your car keys are.

Six of Wands The story is King Richard of England’s abortive victory over some Arabs in a battle in which he was kidnapped and held for life while the next heir to the throne gloried in his old job and paid the Arabs. It was an inside job, of course. So Six of Wands is all about intrigue, betrayal, pretense, false friends and people who have a use for you. Games People Play.

Sun You could call Sun the Great Escape. The child sneaks naked into a paddock and somehow gets on the back of a very short-tempered pony for some reckless horseplay that will be short lived, you can tell. Sun can be about the child; can be about the recklessness; can be about the callous ‘just wanna have fun’ playboy attitude; can be about getting out from under the rules or restrictive situations.

Seven of Pentacles “Duh.” Yes, one of the ‘duh’ cards. I don’t know, I wonder, maybe, what if, questions …. He leans on his shovel and wonders whether his labor over the cucumber plants will be rewarded with cucumbers.

Knight of Pentacles Got my eye on it. Got my priorities straight. One thing on my mind. Concentrate, focus, watch, obsess. A sturdy muscled fellow, very physical-looking, stares intently at his pentacle (coin).

EXPLANATIONS: [Use the arrow at lower right to skip this and go to Comments.]

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ card because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question which provides at least half the information! In an individual’s reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.

Yep. Just chatting with someone who referred to himself as a brat. And he does love the ladies, so I guess that could make him a playboy too.

    • Thanks for letting me know. Another example of how Tarot Verbatim(TM) picks up what people say.

  2. Anna

Yes I know who “the brat” is

    • If you know Brat’s email, forward the page here to him. I hope the ‘Add This’ share button I put on this site shows for everyone. It’s an orange box with a ‘+’ inside it.

You can also copy and paste it.

Totally insightful. I got myself into this mess with good-looking charming playboy. I’m almost out of it, but he wants back in. I know I’m still falling for the charm. I should know better. . . but I still want him (the charm) in my life. Do you think I could lay down the law and make him behave?

    • Well, you already have him in your sights lined up on the crosshairs; all you have to do is pull that trigger. Yeah, I think you can: Steady hand, there, Girl!
