Tarot Readings for You for July 18, 2013 Thursday(c)

Jul 17, 2013 by

Guidance     Being a stereotype in the workplace is not such a bad thing after all. There’s the VIP boss who’s flamboyant and manipulative, and there’s the quiet lady who does the paperwork. But work is enjoyable. And after work, the playboy and the lady also enjoy what they are doing, and the quiet lady meets her studly man. We learn that a man can have a fun time working for the lady, too.

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day. ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages to everyone. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. THEN, the family of commenters here would love for you to join in.

King of Pentacles

Sun – Eight of Pentacles – High Priestess

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Headings [So you can choose which belongs to you]

Tarot Readings: Employment, His Story (Eight of Pentacles and King of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: Employment, Her Story (Eight of Pentacles and High Priestess)

Tarot Readings: She and the Sexy Boss (High Priestess and King of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: Employment, His Story (Eight of Pentacles and King of Pentacles)

He enjoys his work and feels masterful working for a woman.

It’s fun being a boss when you have experts working for you.

He knows the fun ‘tricks of the trade’ of this skilled job.

He knows the secrets of doing his skilled craft ‘not by the books.’

He is the master carpenter on the job; off the job, he is the playboy with women who can keep a secret.

Tarot Readings: Employment, Her Story (Eight of Pentacles and High Priestess)

She does paperwork and book work for Mr. VIP, and enjoys it.

She is on vacation from working for the bankster.

Working for the charismatic studly dude is fun for a quiet woman.

She works at home and is free of a boss’ rules.

She is not restricted to working for just one boss.

Tarot Readings: She and the Sexy Boss (High Priestess and King of Pentacles)

She leaves her job to be with him, he is the one with the money.

When she gets off work, she is home with her sexy guy.

The other woman just waits for Studmuffin to leave work.

He and his secretary work on their vacation(s).

He, the funloving manager, and she, the studious quiet type, are going steady.

King of Pentacles

Sun – Eight of Pentacles – High Priestess

Sun is a playboy, and King of Pentacles is a flamboyant sexy studmuffin dude. Together, they are a charismatic sexy fellow having fun, or fun with the charismatic sexy fellow.

There’s a weak connection re bookkeeping and finance with High Priestess and King of Pentacles. She is a sedentary sort of person – hence a secretary. He is a boss type. So there’s a fit there.

Four relatively unrelated cards. In the center is Eight of Pentacles, work or workplace. Its other meanings are not being used.

Behind Eight of Pentacles as employment, work or workplace is Sun, to be free and to leave. To be on vacation. To be a playboy. To enjoy. Other meanings are not touched today in this very focused spread.

To the right of Eight of Pentacles as work is the woman who is sedentary – a secretary or bookkeeper. Above them is King of Pentacles, the banker, bankster, finance man – and the studmuffin.

The easy connection is a secretary and a boss at work. Sun with the Eight of Pentacles is leaving work, or being on vacation from work.

Sun shows a freedom loving baby who leaves the house naked to recklessly play with a wicked pony in the back yard. The various meanings of Sun arise from the elements of the story in the illustration. Leaving, no restrictions or rules, being happy, playing or playboy, fun. We are not using the ‘reckless’ category of its meanings.

Eight of Pentacles is work, work place, workman, keep doing, carpenter. The illustration in Rider Waite shows a carpenter engrossed in making one identical product after another at his workbench.

High Priestess is a sedentary lady, a secretary or bookkeeper, she who waits, she who knows secrets. She who waits quietly as the other woman. A woman who stays in one place. Her illustration shows her sitting with a book in her lap, and symbols of occult knowledge behind her.

King of Pentacles is the VIP, the finance man or banker or bankster since he’s the manipulative dude. He is the flashy playboy too. In his illustration, he is all duded up Italianesque. Where’s the cigar?

EXPLANATIONS: [Use the arrow at lower right to skip this and go to Comments.]

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ card because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question which provides at least half the information! In an individual’s reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.
