Tarot Readings for You for July 24, 2013 Wednesday(c)

Jul 23, 2013 by

Guidance     Our story is about wising up before it’s too late. It mainly says ‘Wise up and get on with it before it’s too late.’ How important it is to determine your priority and act upon it! The main emphasis is on leaving the kind of life that is going in all directions behind for what is important to you in your private meditation – and to have that private meditation. Avoid out-of-control people and aggressive people because they foster the spin pattern, and because you could get hit. In the same breath, we talk about avoiding the craziness of sex with a lot of women.

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day. ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages to everyone. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. THEN, the family of commenters here would love for you to join in.

High Priestess

Seven of Cups – Six of Swords – Ace of Wands

Seven of Cups is about out-of-control, and Ace of Wands is about exerting control or being in control. Ace of Wands is also about sex (especially re male gender) so these two cards also mean crazy sex or sexual life being out of control.

Seven of Cups is confusion, and High Priestess is knowing and wisdom. Seven of Cups is everything falling to pieces, and distractions, and High Priestess is being in peace and quiet alone.

Both these cards can refer to spiritual or esoteric (occult) knowledge and practice. In the Sorcerer’s Apprentice story, the expert (High Priestess) takes control (Ace of Wands) of the spirits that caused the chaos (Seven of Cups) and the problems are over (Six of Swords).

Seven of Cups is being confronted with a situation beyond your control, and Six of Swords is escaping or avoiding that sort of thing. These two cards also say ‘Avoid the crazies.’

High Priestess is a woman, and Ace of Wands is threat or force, or threatened force. This suggests a woman being hit. Six of Swords added to these two suggest she leave the scene; Seven of Cups here adds ‘before things get that far out of control’ or ‘when things get out of control.’  Of course, the story could be about a woman hitting someone or something, or a woman being dominant because Ace of Wands is all about threat, intimidation and domination and there are ladies who indulge in that.

Since Ace of Wands is a sex card (especially male gender) and High Priestess is a female, these two cards are about sex with a woman. (Seven of Cups makes it many woman and/or out of control sex or crazy sex.)  Since High Priestess is ‘the other woman,’ we also could be talking about sex with another woman or the other woman.

Obviously, our story is about wising up before it’s too late! We apply it to knowing the lay of the land around you; we apply it to spiritual life; we apply it to avoiding dangerous people; we even apply it to avoiding being sex-crazy.

Seven of Cups is seriously out of hand, out of control – chaos and confusion confront. Its story is Pandora’s Box or the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. A terrible shock, and nothing you can do about it, no warning probably. The black figure is the magician who made a mistake and conjured up bad stuff he can’t put back in the bottle or box. We have all done this and know how it feels when the crazies are loose in our life.

Six of Swords is getting out while the getting is good, in the Tarot Verbatim ™ system. Leaving with help. Putting the chaos behind and quietly getting out like a refugee to avoid a worse situation. It suggests the future will be better than the past they are escaping, but better because almost anything would be an improvement. Illustration in Rider Waite shows a woman and child escaping at twilight on a gray day in a shallow boat, a friend operating the humble craft.

Ace of Wands impels, compels, forces, is assertive and aggressive, is Number One, the most important, vital. It can be macho aggression, since the illustration in Rider Waite is reminiscent of both a penis and a club. It often simply means ‘the most important’ as in the most important factor or vitally important to do.

High Priestess is the wise woman, is spiritual, knowing, to wise up, being in the background, sitting or sedentary, knowing and not acting, waiting, being alone, a woman alone, being a secretary or bookkeeper, occult knowledge, or anything to do with study because of the book in her lap. She appears as ‘the other woman’ too. The illustration shows a seated woman with the equal-armed cross on her chest and symbols of the Kabbalah behind and around her.

EXPLANATIONS: [Use the arrow at lower right to skip this and go to Comments.]

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ card because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question which provides at least half the information! In an individual’s reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.

  1. Lori

Very interesting, I do need to get on with making myself healthy and happy and move on from the distractions.

    • Don’t we all. I enjoy the bluntness of today’s messages. The advice to meditate to determine what is important to us, and then focus activity and energy narrowly on that, is very specific. And you can’t argue with it.

  2. Anna

I like the new two cards side by side and their explanations, or how they read together, below them.

    • I will be doing this, and do more of it if comments like yours appreciate the effort. I think it perfects the site here. Thank you for expressing your preference for it.
Anyone else want to speak up about this?
