Tarot Readings for You for April 23, 2014 Wednesday(c)

Guidance    A RECIPE FOR YOUR REALITY:  Think of the events in your situation as pills or food items: You don’t have to take them!   You can make the best use of them! You can choose what use to make of them.  Sometimes, they are spoiled or too old, expired, and you can throw them out!  They are ingredients, but your life is your recipe, and you are in the kitchen assembling the meal with those ingredients sitting on the counter.  You decide how you are going to use and handle them, what flavorings to use and when to use them.  The worst, most tragic and humiliating experiences do not have to be taken full strength or even taken at all: By our attitude, our discipline and our optimistic faith we diminish the effect, we avoid or prevent the experience or its consequences, or we even slip into ‘duh’ mode and don’t get it until it’s way past.   Some of my most brilliant moves have been blunders.   It’s marvelous when we can be that stupid: been there myself a lot!  Sometimes ‘not getting it’ is a splendid defense and a splendid strategy !

Tarot Readings: Inborn Spirituality (Ace of Cups and Fool)

God is in my subconscious now so I am getting over the worst of it.

A healthy subconscious will steer us out of disasters.

I am coming into my natural spirituality as I live through my downtimes.

Unconsciously channeling the presence of God, I distance myself from crashing.

A subconscious link to the divine puts you on a path out of failures.

Tarot Readings: Physical Health by Faith and Optimism (Ace of Cups and Fool)

Yes, you are on your way to good health free of pain and suffering.

It’s so healthy to just get over the bad part and not think about it

Optimistic about being in great health once the pain is over.

I am healthy, I am no victim anymore.

Damn the torpedoes, I’m going ahead intact.

Tarot Readings: Feeling No Pain (Fool and Ten of Swords

Assume the best and get out of the worst.

Just let me be in love and I will feel no pain.

Am in love without even thinking about it now that the fiasco is over.

I just know you love me because you avoid hurting me.

Tarot Readings: It Doesn’t Hurt Anymore (Six of Swords and Ten of Swords)

It doesn’t hurt any more – am free to be in love

Forget about hurting and go on with the part that feels good

Ignore feeling sorry for yourself, it will pass as you become well

Forget about suffering for love, and go on with a new phase

It hurts when love leaves you but you do forget and be happy

Don’t dwell on feeling sorry, and after awhile it fades away and you’re perfectly fine.

The departed is healed of the tragedy, is unaffected, and forgets.

Assume the worst is over when you are feeling good.

Wasn’t aware I was screwed until I was out of there in good shape.

You forget the pain as healing progresses.

Just skip the victimization and go directly to bliss.

The easy way is to not think about it as a humiliation until it’s over.

I lost, I failed? Oh well, I’m on to something really good these days.

His suffering is over, he has left to be with God.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings

I just love you, that’s all; I am devastated when you are gone.

Ignore and avoid a love that is painful.

You can leave for no reason but that kind of love makes you feel bad.

Don’t worry about failing, just head into the easy part first.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL SIX 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Ten of Swords

Six of Swords – Ace of Cups – Fool

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Six of Swords and Fool      Both Six of Swords and Fool refer to good times ahead (optimism) in different ways: Six of Swords is putting some bad times behind and the future is better because the past is terrible; Fool is simply free of taking the physical realm too seriously. Together, they say ‘Don’t dwell on feeling sorry for yourself.’

Six of Swords and Fool Six of Swords and Fool are also both free of (Fool) or getting free of (Six of Swords). They both can refer to a new phase, with Six of Swords phasing out of one thing and into another, and Fool starting something new.

And besides those two, Fool feels no pain, and Six of Swords is getting over it.

Ace of Cups and Fool       refer to spirituality. Ace of Cups is specifically God-oriented, and Fool is about having a spiritual mindset whilst in the body, and having an open mind. Ace of Cups’ illustration in Rider Waite, and therefore its meaning in Tarot Verbatim™, includes channeling the presence of God or Holy Spirit. Ace of Cups means good health and anything being in good shape. Fool is faith, optimism, assumption (and that open mind). Fool can mean not being present, even. Fool can refer, easily, to a maverick sort of person – quirky, eccentric, disregarding self-interest and good sense, a free spirit. Freedom. Fool ignores and disregards, as well … damn those torpedoes. Fool is no loser, though!

Ten of Swords is a disaster card in such good company today we are spared the brunt of his full effect. The self-pity and personal suffering Ten of Swords represents is countered here in these ways:

Fool and Ten of Swords      Fool avoids, dismisses, ignores and is oblivious to Ten of Swords’ disaster, humiliation and devastation. Fool forgets the pain. Fool’s optimism is very counter to Ten of Swords despair.

Six of Swords and Ten of Swords       Six of Swords is also avoiding Ten of Swords’ suffering. It is getting over it, steering away from it, living through and surviving it, and is making a path out of the failure. Getting over the worst of it, these two cards clearly say.

Ace of Cups and Ten of Swords       Ace of Cups simply counters Ten of Sword’s effect with its healing, its health, and its being in such good shape.

Six of Swords       Time to move on to a better place, a better life. This one is used up. Phasing out of this and into something better, like ‘Just let me be in love and the pain will be over.’ Relocating to where we can succeed is the kind of moving Six of Swords in Rider Waite Tarot speaks of. Illustrated by a woman and child in a crude open rowboat on a gray day leaving, moving on out, with no possessions.

Ace of Cups       Divine spirit infuses the senses and flows wherever it is going. The five streams flowing out of the fountain represent the senses, with the white dove putting the wafer into the flow. This is Roman Catholic symbols, probably from Ste. Teresa d’Avila’s Interior Castle, a dense book considered by some universities as the seminal work of Western mysticism. Back in the day Europeans were first discovering Tarot, the people needed to prove Tarot wasn’t unholy (just as some people need to now). Ace of Cups means good, good health or being well, a flow, spirituality and God, harmless, love, healing, being in good shape.

Fool       Being attuned to a higher consciousness insulates one from the concerns of the mundane physical world, this Rider Waite Tarot card suggests. Fool’s attuned to that ‘different drummer,’ for sure, and is, somehow, not going to go over the cliff. Fool is the state of being free, free-spirited, free-minded. You could say God protects Fools and drunks.

Ten of Swords      You always hope for a negative modifier with Ten of Swords. You don’t have to guess about its meaning either: a person pinned to the ground by ten swords in the back is suffering the worst pain, has endured fiasco, disaster, humiliation, pain and treachery. Bad outcome is putting it mildly. It means a martyred mood and a person who will stab you in the back in its milder applications.

10/8. Q. What can I do to help the world? A. 6 of Pentacles, 10 of Swords, & Page of Swords.

I tried to draw two cards, but the Page of Swords jumped out of the deck afterwards.
(6 of Pentacles) Share with (10 of Swords) the suffering and (Page of Swords)anxious?

But I don’t get it. What is the page of Swords doing here? What does he have to add that’s so important that he’d jump out of the deck? Aren’t the suffering already anxious? Looking at the pictures, the page of sword is holding his sword up. Is it to remove the swords from 10’s back? I don’t understand.

    • YOUR QUESTION WAS ANSWERED IN DETAIL BY HAVING GONE TO THIS PAST POST, WHICH CONTAINS ACE OF CUPS, WHICH MEANS TO HELP, TO CLEAN OR BE CLEAN. It also means God, presence of God, and channeling the presence of God via Holy Spirit, represented by the dove in the illustration.

THIS IS EVEN HIGHLIGHTED IN YELLOW IN THE POST:
Ten of Swords is a disaster card in such good company today we are spared the brunt of his full effect. The self-pity and personal suffering Ten of Swords represents is countered here in these ways:

Ace of Cups and Ten of Swords Ace of Cups simply counters Ten of Sword’s effect with its healing, its health, and its being in such good shape.

THESE SAY YOU CAN’T SINGLE-HANDEDLY HELP OR CLEAN UP THE WORLD:

Fool and Ten of Swords Fool avoids, dismisses, ignores and is oblivious to Ten of Swords’ disaster, humiliation and devastation. Fool forgets the pain. Fool’s optimism is very counter to Ten of Swords despair.

Six of Swords and Ten of Swords Six of Swords is also avoiding Ten of Swords’ suffering. It is getting over it, steering away from it, living through and surviving it, and is making a path out of the failure. Getting over the worst of it, these two cards clearly say.

WHY PAGE OF SWORDS LEAPED OUT: It changes “Your contribution or input (Six of Pentacles) fails in the mission (Ten of Swords).” Page of Swords leaps to make that say: “You are afraid or nervous about your contribution or input failing in the mission.”

Ace of Cups – appearing as if my magic in your spread since you landed on this day’s post, identifies the mission as CLEANING world, making it a safe and harmless place. (These are Ace of Cups’ main meaning.)

IMPLIED IS: Since this task is greater than your ability, you and God can partner up on the project. Main advice is to clean up your own territory.

      • Mary

Thank you. I would have never been able to put things together like this. Even with the cards and looking up the meanings one by one, the story and message doesn’t come through for me like it does for you. Clean up my own territory. I have to clean up the house and pay bills. It’s a mess I need to handle.

Be in good shape so I can handle things the world sends my way. That’s good advice.

I couldn’t fix the last challenge it sent me. I thought I was strong, but not stable enough to counter the crazy current. It’s gone on its way, but I didn’t clean up the mess. It was greater than my ability.

        • Mary

So now, you gave me a recipe to fix that.

          • That’s my job. (The widget put the answer to your above comment below this. Bad widget!

        • Well, I learned from the basement up beginning in 1980. I have been doing Rider Waite Tarot as Tarot Verbatim™ more than 12 hours a day since 1992.
The key to reading in depth and in detail is the combinations of cards: What they have in common is what they are saying, and certain phrases are more common for each individual card. Takes a while!

In a Celtic Cross spread, you have a question to limit the contexts, and you have timing built into the layout itself (past and present positions, outcomes), and you have cards that are paired (past-present, foundation-future), and you have also the positions’ meanings (self, others, crux or issue in the cross card, etc.) to contribute to the talk. None of that here, so here the talk is wide open, like overhearing things as you walk through an occupied bus.

  2. Kelly

This reads like pure genius to me.
I was in the ‘duh’ mode about some things that I now realize. This is a meditation on what to do with that info, where to “put” those past experiences, and to definitely forgive myself for what could appear to be a blunder!
    I decide.
So timely and useful, and nice choice of metaphor, btw.
    Thanks.
