Tarot Readings for You for June 20, 2014 Friday(c)

Jun 20, 2014 by

Guidance      Making things happen for the best is often triggered by some hazard that presents itself, that we overcome. We tend to rise to the occasion when there is danger. We find our strength when someone is out to sabotage it … strength we get to keep when we have fixed the situation. We explore the little known fact that spiritually we do have the ability to make things happen for the best, to create miracles. The idea you create miracles takes some getting used to, doesn’t it? We do this, but we quickly tell ourselves we didn’t because it’s scary: We don’t trust ourselves with this ability. It’s a pity we don’t use this spiritual strength except when someone is breaking in on us. Tarot, today, delves into situations of this kind one by one.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

…..……………..….……………..           These three Rider Waite Tarot cards make very interesting bedmates, as they say. Both Wheel of Fortune and Seven of Swords involve ‘chance’ and gambling. Here are the different ways they do that:

……………………..   Wheel of Fortune represents coincidence, chance, good luck or good fortune, opportunity, probability, a happening, an optimum result, happening for the best, and a miracle.

……..…….………..   Seven of Swords   is about risky behavior, risky missions, pulling something off, having the guts or daring to accomplish a sneaky purpose, and risk itself, which also involves hazards.  Seven of Swords is back-alley ways of pulling something off, too – thievery, shoplifting and such.
His ungloved hands upon the naked blades tell us self-destructive behavior may be afoot.  So may treachery be afoot, although the illustration has him on a mission to the enemy.  He can be a spy or special ops person, male or female.  He can also just be hot-footing away from a situation, or making a getaway.

……..………………………… Wheel of Fortune and Seven of Swords With Wheel of Fortune and Seven of Swords in this spread, the laws that are being violated are the laws of chance (Laws of Random Distribution, for instance, or probability.)

….…..………………………. Wheel of Fortune and Strength So how are Laws of Random Distribution violated? Strength being the spiritual ability to make things happen, and Wheel of Fortune being a happening, a miracle, and happening for the best. So we are actually – putting it all together here – talking about the ability, spiritually, to create events – miracles.

….…..………………………. Wheel of Fortune and Strength both involve making something happen for the best. Both are about winning too. Wheel of Fortune is the happy coincidence (or miracle) and Strength is prevention of potential harm. Strength is also overcoming on a personal level, ‘working on ourselves.’

……..…………………………. Strength and Seven of Swords Strength is getting the best of opposition, an attacker, an intruder upon your space. Seven of Swords is the attacker or the intruder in the act.

The idea you create miracles takes some getting used to. You have probably pulled this off at least once in your life even if you are young. Most often, you have done it in times of danger … and Seven of Swords represents that danger. We do this, but we quickly tell ourselves we didn’t because it’s scary: We don’t trust ourselves with this ability. Mystics … that’s their job.

Wheel of Fortune ……….    The illustration says that spiritual influences affect our events through randomness. See all the critters? The four Hebrew characters interspersed with the letters T, A, R, O are the Name of God that Westerners pronounce ‘Jehovah.’ Wheel of Fortune translates a happening, a happening for the best – a miracle, even – a wonderful thing, a magic moment. Destiny, karma, coincidence. Chance, luck, good fortune. Winning, windfall, gambling and winning, pays off.

Strength ………….   is about overcoming both internal and external threats and intrusions upon your space or yourself. It is winning the battle. It is getting the best of the opposition, preventing harm. Strength is the spiritual ability to make things happen, make something happen for the best. Strength is overcoming on a personal level, what we call ‘working on myself.’ A woman with symbols of spirituality is petting a lion that attacked her. She is making him purr against his will by the strength of her character. This Rider Waite Tarot card in Tarot Verbatim™ also refers to touch or petting or stroking.

Seven of Swords……….   A fellow has taken the weapons of the enemy from their tents, and is holding them by the blades as he hotfoots it away. So this Rider Waite Tarot card is about risky behavior, risky missions, pulling something off, having the guts or daring to accomplish a sneaky purpose, and risk itself, which also involves hazards.

11/09 Earlier, I asked Tarot what my worst qualities were. It said, 7 of Swords and 10 of Swords. Later I asked how to change them and Tarot said, Strength and Wheel of Fortune.

    • Mary

This commentary explains that so well, thank you. It’s interesting how we go back in time to find the answers. The same reading that helps me now helped me face the day months ago. It helped Kelly too. This is really, really nice, Emily.

    • The best I can do with Seven of Swords (risk) and Ten of Swords (ruin) for you is taking risks of devastating failure – daring fate, so to speak. Court reporting training is just that: There’s about 1% chance of graduating, and then a 50% chance of working less than a year – at least back when I did it.

Therefore, being able to grab that by its throat (Strength) and making the miracle happen (Wheel of Fortune) counterbalances the daring risk.

What a great perspective on (my)trials and tribulations.
“… strength we get to keep when we have fixed the situation”. Goody!

“A moral victory that takes a lot of guts makes my day”.
    Thanks Emily.

  3. Mary

Thanks! You helped me get up and tackle the day.
