Tarot Readings for You for August 27, 2014 Wednesday(c)

Aug 26, 2014 by

Guidance    A web-work of loyalties spins us into conflicts of interest … especially our own individual interest as the things we belong to program us and metastasize. It’s similar to the web-work of treaties nations make with one another, that lead to world wars. The beginning of choosing to belong is often casual and easy, but easier to get into than to get out of – like marriage, the king of conflicts of interest. Today’s word picture has a point along the lines of ‘To thine own self be true’ because a large part of what we are talking about here is values.

.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observing, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the three cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Tarot Readings: People Who Make You Uneasy (Nine of Wands and Four of Wands)

You don’t want to be around these people; they make you uneasy.

We don’t want anything to do with that company, it is a threat.

You are not intimidated by those very important people.

Have nothing to do with people who give you bad vibes.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Resisting Social Pressure (Nine of Wands and Four of Wands)

I’m one of those people you don’t intimidate.

You don’t like it when I defend my position from your kind.

Be one of those people who just says no and stands your ground.

You don’t have to defend yourself for being one of those people.

Say no and resist the pressure you feel to get married.

The atmosphere at home is tense because I keep saying ‘no.’

Don’t be one of those high-strung people.

They don’t scare me none.

Don’t let your spouse pester you.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Don’t Want to Live Here (Four of Cups and Four of Wands)

It’s not a good neighborhood, you have to be on guard.

I don’t want this house, it has bad vibes that get to me.

That nerve-wracking country is not where I want to live.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Not a Member of the Tribe (Four of Cups and Four of Wands)

Being with the family is being on the defensive, and I am refusing to.

No, my heritage just annoys the heck out of me.

I get the feeling I don’t belong to this tribe.

I am not defending my anything.

Hey, I am not guarding the fort.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Four of Cups – Nine of Wands – Four of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……….………………….. Four of Wands is the star card the others are reacting to today.  Four of Wands is marriage, family, any group, and all sorts of affiliations.  Four of Cups wants no part of any of this. Nine of Wands is standing his ground as he is expecting another assault upon it. We have loyalty stories galore.

…………….………….. Four of Cups is in the Tarot primer book. A glance tells you what Four of Cups means, and how to apply it. He ain’t interested, he is refusing every time it comes up. Arms crossed, legs crossed, head averted. “No.”

…………….………….. Nine of Wands is holding out and resisting too, but it’s no mere offer he stands up against: It is overt force that has wounded him and is out there somewhere, coming back. He is being intimidated and is refusing to be intimidated: a standoff here.

…………….…………..   Four of Wands is the package we are born into or choose to identify with, the package that has ahold of us and isn’t letting go so easily. Loyalty’s alligator jaws. It begins with marriage and family and escalates from there.

.……………….……….   Four of Cups and Nine of Wands are both about refusing to give in. Four of Cups is simply refusing an offer every time they knock on his door. Nine of Wands, on the other hand, has already been wounded for defending what is his, and there’s more to come. Nine of Wands is hanging in there, is guarding the fort, is defending his position.

Social pressure comes from individuals and from the flock – all kinds of flock, too. We hate to admit it, but we are guilty of it as well. The power of ‘ought.’ The ‘ought’ police need no subpoenas and no sidearms; they just are – even when they aren’t present. Blessed are people who have a tin ear to the ought police, but they pay the price over and over for not fitting in and not getting the word. (These mavericks tell me ‘the price’ is worth it, by the way.) You have to be shameless to be free; and you are exactly as free as you are shameless. People resent you for being shameless and free because many of us wish we were like that. We talk about not being a member of the tribe (marriage, family neighborhood, company, affiliations and nations). We talk about not wanting to live in a given house with bad vibes, or the neighborhood that’s no longer comfortable. We talk about being pestered and intimidated, and we say you don’t have to defend yourself on the one hand, and how ‘they don’t like it’ when you do stand your ground, on the other. Is this social pressure why birds of a feather flocked together in the first place, and started the whole affiliation gambit rolling?

Yes Emily this fits really well with my relationship with the tribe we’ve been talking about . . . I definitely don’t fit PTL.

    • Thank you for commenting! Where is everybody?
