Tarot Readings for You for September 22, 2014 Monday(c)

Sep 22, 2014 by

Guidance     You don’t climb Mt. Everest by yourself; you know about the Sherpas. People brag about their climb, but the unsung Sherpas do various climbs over and over and expect no glory. If you aim to accomplish something impressive all by yourself, you will encounter situations that call for some skill you don’t possess. A leader or manager’s job is to get *the people who possess each skill the project requires* together, and to pay the rewards and make the compromises that keep each member motivated. We salute that vital skill today, and we also salute the Sherpas.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Five of Wands – Chariot – Three of Pentacles

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….……………………   We succeed in our effort, this Tarot card spread says. It also reads a leader in a group effort. It is also opposing a manager in a meeting, or a group of people opposing a leader. All three cards refer to getting something done, in a general way.

………………………..    Five of Wands is activity – action, the actual doing of something. Its illustration shows a group of guys.

………………………..    Chariot is a man in charge, a man who succeeds, a man who gets it done.

…………..………….   Three of Pentacles is a group of people who are together in getting something done, often as a team. Our story today: successful joint effort. Three of Pentacles’ other meanings blend well with the story here, which is why we have so many categories today. Three of Pentacles is getting together, a meeting, coming to agreement, negotiation, legal proceeding, a relationship, each party doing his/her share, and a contract

………………………..      Five of Wands is action in various ways: working up a sweat; being very involved; fighting, fighting for or acrimony; rivalry; sports; exercise; trying hard or effort; difficult to do; energy; being against; dispute or dissent; aggressively; and phrases like ‘throw themselves into it,’ ‘bust a gut,’ and ‘go all out for it.’

………..…………..     Five of Wands and Three of Pentacles    Five of Wands and Three of Pentacles, you can see now, apply to many things in many ways. People are in some kind of relationship or group, and their joint effort can be for or against or meeting to reach a compromise, negotiating.

………………………..    So you look to the other card here to limit this wide range of potential stories. Chariot is the leader, the manager, is getting it done, achievement, success, ambition, being the responsible person. He does not limit much of anything here, since he becomes part of the Three of Pentacles group of people who are getting something done, and since the energy of Five of Wands blends in with Chariot’s drive, ambition, and success.

……..……………   Chariot and Three of Pentacles   Chariot and Three of Pentacles are both about delivering the finished project. Chariot is responsible for victory in a battle; Three of Pentacles is an architect or general contractor delivering the finished building to its owners.

This is how we get all these applications today.

Few people accomplish something impressive all by themselves. Almost anything you dream of will involve the effort of other people in one way or the other. The skill to get people to do something together is therefore a vital one. Leaders and managers are called upon to do this. Today we salute those who do it well, and make others’ success as well as their own.

Five of Wands ………   We see five fellow whacking one another with lumber. Are they fighting? Is it some sport? A lot of energy is involved; it’s strenuous exercise, and they are trying hard, whatever it is. These are the core meanings of Five of Wands, and that is why.

.

Chariot  ………….    is a strategist, the project manager, the fellow responsible for delivering the finished victory. Charioteers were the Marines of their day; they were VIPs because often what they did was the key to winning a battle. So Chariot is the fellow who gets the job done, the manager, the leader, the go-to person, and represents that kind of willpower. Chariot mean success, achievement, and arriving. It also means a vehicle for obvious reasons. The rather complex illustration behind these meanings involve hitching sphinxes to your wagon and getting them to obey with your magic wand: a good depiction of managership, ya think?

.

Three of Pentacles  ……….   depicts an architect delivering his finished product, the cathedral, to the monk and nun who are his clients. Here is where he demonstrates he did the work (using the blueprint they are holding), and they settle up so that he gets his final largest payment. So Three of Pentacles means getting together, a team, a meeting, coming to agreement, negotiation, settling up, legal proceeding, a relationship, each party doing his/her share, and a contract.
