Tarot Readings for You for September 26, 2014 Friday(c)

Sep 25, 2014 by

GUIDANCE     Some highways of opportunity are unmarked, and many routes to it are back alleys.  One ‘oops’ moment can make the difference between being a winner and being a loser, and that moment may pass unnoticed.  Some of your best moves were blunders, you know.  Sometimes bouncing back from some desperate hole is what puts you several rungs up on a ladder of success as desperation triggers creative thinking. Coincidence is destiny, and Lady Luck often guards the door to the storehouse.  If you had not kissed all those frogs back there, would you be with your Prince now?

.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the three cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Five of Pentacles – Eight of Cups – Wheel of Fortune

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….…………………… You get the story with barely a glance: Five of Pentacles is poverty; Eight of Cups is a shift or change; Wheel of Fortune is luck, hitting the jackpot, and also means ‘wonderful’ and ‘miracle.’

………………………..  Five of Pentacles is being used to circumstances that are a drain on you, being in a ghetto (longstanding financial, emotional, mental or spiritual depletion), and being numb with despair. Five of Pentacles is loss and being the loser. Illustration shows ‘bums on the street,’ you could say. A mother and son, in rags and shoeless, trudge right past a place (cathedral) where they could get a meal, clothes and some rest in a warm place, free of charge. They don’t see the solution to the problem, they are so embedded in it, so bought into it. The point of Five of Pentacles is that when you believe in your adversity you are stuck.

Another aspect of Five of Pentacles – and you need other cards to establish this – is the martyr complex, the over-the-top self-centered self-pity you see in people once in a while, the ‘poor me’ syndrome.

………………………..   Eight of Cups is a switchy-changy card. It applies so very many ways to so very many things. A pilgrim detours from where he is heading because mountains are in the way. The illustration contains a probability he will resume his course.

Eight of Cups is always a change. It is neutral: The change can be for the good or not. Today Wheel of Fortune pulls it that way, though. It most often means to derail, detour, quit, go missing or vanish (which can apply to objects), run off the road, drop out, that something is over with before it begins or is aborted – or something is not done, unfinished.

Eight of Cups also describes ‘could go either way’ type situations. Today it applies to that moment in gambling (Wheel of Fortune) when you don’t know whether you have won or not – which apparently is a huge part of a gambling addiction. Gamblers get a payoff-thrill from losing, researchers report. I tried to express that in this spread, but … not quite fits.

…………..…………..     Wheel of Fortune says there’s divine coincidence and there’s infernal coincidence, and they both affect your events. Think Lady Luck. In the center of the Wheel are the four consonants of the Hebrew Name of God, interspersed with four other letters which relate to fate. Stuck to the Wheel are some fairly infernal nasty spiritual critters, the red lizard and the sphinx with the sword. Outside the Wheel, in clouds, are winged creatures with books.

Coincidence – the gaming Wheel – is fate, destiny, karma, luck, miracle … is what happens. So Wheel of Fortune means ‘it happens’ a lot. Usually the happening it refers to is an optimum outcome, is the best, is lucky – and is unexpected or happens quickly.

……..……………     Eight of Cups and Wheel of Fortune     Both Eight of Cups and Wheel of Fortune are about change and events, and about an unexpected event: It happens ‘out of the blue.’ In Eight of Cups, the emphasis is on the change itself, and does not color it one way or the other. In Wheel of Fortune, it’s a wonderful and lucky event.

Eight of Cups and Wheel of Fortune both are unexpected, abrupt events. Together, they describe missing the opportunity, not taking the chance, not showing up for the payoff. You weren’t home when Dialing for Dollars called.

……….…………..     Five of Pentacles and Eight of Cups  Five of Pentacles and Eight of Cups both are pedestrians, and both can mean ‘missing the mark.’ Eight of Cups is deflected or is detoured from its path, and doesn’t get to the destination – runs off the road. Five of Pentacles passes right by a destination, not even knowing.

………..…………..          Five of Pentacles and Wheel of Fortune  Here is where hitting bottom turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to you. But together they say you missed the boat – ‘missed opportunity’ or lost your chance, or lost money.

Being in a funk can deflect some good things that would have happened, because some things you have to pick up on, and pull the string to make the bell ring. If you are not looking where you are going re the direction of your days, well, you won’t notice that green light at the end of the rainbow.

Five of Pentacles  ……... I’ve been down so long it looks like up to me: Dark Night of the Soul. Beaten. Whipped. “Nothing good is going to happen; it never does,” says Five of Pentacles. This card’s message is: That is a self-fulfilling prophesy. The desperate mother and son could duck into the church where a warm bed and a meal await travelers like them. They are in pain, numb with the cold, thinking only of the next step of their bare feet in the snow and ice. They have miles to go before they sleep, as it is … and it could be now.

.

Eight of Cups …………  A pilgrim detours from where he is heading because mountains are in the way. The illustration contains a probability he will resume his course. There’s a lot of ‘oops’ to Eight of Cups. Change is its main theme. It is about being deflected off your path, about running off the road and vanishing, about detouring or aborting course, about things that didn’t quite happen, about things unfinished and abandoned. It’s over with before it begins, or you walk out in the middle.

.

Wheel of Fortune………. The luck of the draw in our daily doings, and the luck that makes our fate, are the work of divine and internal coincidences, Wheel of Fortune says. The divine luck is there in the center as the four letters that make up God’s name; the infernal luck is all the various critters attached to, and in the clouds around, the Wheel of Fortune. Wheel of Fortune says ‘It happens for the best’ at least most of the time. Miracle and jackpot or windfall belong to Wheel of Fortune. So do fate, destiny, karma, and Lady Luck.

i’m so confused. ” What you really really need to have happen, does happen – a turning point.” and “It was wonderful but it didn’t last, and I miss it”, both of these can apply to me, but i don’t know which one does. It could go either way.

    • As I told you, you take what you intuitively feel may apply to you, and you decide whether to go with that, or prevent that. These messages are to whoever reads them, whoever visits. It started out as an experiment re whether Tarot is more suited to group readings than horoscopes are. That was a big ‘yes’ over and over. It also turns out that people who happen upon messages of even years ago find what is meaningful to them. I have email comments from past years, regularly, of people who are looking on those days.

Read the instructions … when all else fails? The instructions explain what we are doing here. Ya can’t give 500 people personal readings anonymously!

Today’s messages even say that mood affects path. Your hand is on the steering wheel of your life: That is a common Tarot concept.

Read Lori’s comment. Lori’s been coming here for quite a while, and she’s got it, by golly.

Times are bad and the break hasn’t happened yet.
Things open up for you the minute you get out of the dumps.
What you really really need to have happen, does happen – a turning point
Being in a funk can deflect your good luck.
Looking and feeling like a loser closes the door opportunity comes through.

So for me, I read this as, even though I’m stressed about my upcoming move and the current state of employment there, I need to shake it off, and put on some make up, and go on with it.
Good things are coming, but the waiting is taxing.

    • You got it. The point of this missive is that we overlook routes and opportunities by being discouraged – that a down mood predisposes us to a down path by default.
As usual, it gives us snapshots of scenes regarding the process – different choices, different moods, different routes. I liked the back-all roads to success, myself. That got my attention. That is what this site is.

  3. Hi Emily, Well I’ve had my share of blunders lately. Happy to hear that they should send me on a new and more fantastic journey . l l

    • That they do. Blunders and wonders, today’s story. You have also kissed your share of frogs … haven’t we all?
Come to think of it, a guy dressed as a frog on Halloween could ask all the gals for kisses, yes? “I mean, after all, it isn’t something you haven’t done before.”
