GUIDANCE    Often, you know when ‘something’s up.’ You know when your number’s up, they say. The winds of change are perceptible to the inner ear; the shift in fortune is perceived by the inner mind. Suddenly your psyche shifts into overdrive and you do something, or you say something, by instinct. Hindsight tells you that was an opportune moment, and you wish you could relish its each detail and replay the scene moment by moment.

Tarot Readings: Sensing Opportunity (Wheel of Fortune and Hanged Man)

I sense an opportunity and get going.

Somehow you feel it the moment your luck changes.

A feeling in your gut that this is your chance to turn things around.

I see my chance to get out of here.

Insight changes one’s luck.

An inspired idea sends you off in a different direction.

I am lucky I got out at the last minute: I realize that now.

Zooming out of here into the wild blue yonder by instinct.

When he left, I got the idea something wonderful was up.

Either way it goes, I will luck out: I have that feeling in my gut.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Happens so Fast (Wheel of Fortune and Knight of Swords)

You knew it would happen just before it did.

An open mind is subject to the winds of change.

His mind changed suddenly all by itself.

It happened too fast to think about it.

Something happens all of a sudden that changes my mind.

It happened as quickly as the thought struck – boom!

……….…………

Tarot Readings: A Sense of Urgency (Hanged Man and Knight of Swords)

Something happens that gives him the urge to go back there.

A coincidence made a big difference in your perspective.

You sense an influence of spirits and send them away.

A feeling in my bones that destiny is making a radical change.

There’s a sense of urgency to strike while the iron is hot.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Wheel of Fortune – Hanged Man – Knight of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….……………………   Wheel of Fortune and Knight of Swords are both a shift, a change, a turnaround that is near-instantaneous. Hanged Man is a sudden awareness, an instinctive urge, a psychic realization. So all three of our Rider Waite Tarot cards are ‘sudden’ ones, and two are about a change (for the better unless otherwise indicated). Wheel of Fortune is destiny and fate, so our story is about a life-changing realization, or a realization life is about to change and take us with it.

………………………..    Wheel of Fortune’s theme is that the spiritual world affects physical life. How does this illustration say that? – well, that’s God’s (Yahweh or Jehovah) name there in the center of the roulette-wheel-looking-thing, interspersed with another word. You see the creatures with books, who have wings? They are spiritual influencers for sure. The red lizard is a baddie and the blue sphinx is too. ‘Wheel of Fortune’ as its title tells you this card is about what happens in physical life. Therefore we are talking about coincidences interrupting and interfering with our lives for good or ill – mostly for good since Wheel of Fortune is one of the ‘It happens for the best’ cards in Rider Waite and in Tarot Verbatim™. Think of Wheel of Fortune as Lady Luck.

………………………..    Hanged Man is insight, instinct, subconscious awareness, psychic sensing, the urge, the eureka or deja vu realizations that originate in the subconscious and are dropped like firecrackers into the everyday mentality. The picture represents how you feel when a new level of awareness strikes you: You feel upside down, mind racing, disoriented like your head is on fire. See the energy field around the fellow’s head as his blood rushes into his brain, overwhelming the thought processes?

………………………..   Knight of Swords is in hot pursuit – energy and speed, an adrenalin moment. In full armor, he leans forward over the outstretched head of his steed, his clothes flying and his blade upright, ready to strike. The speed is the main source of meanings, usually. He can translate ‘leaving’ and ‘turning around’ or changing direction, as well as pursuing. (Look to the question and to the other Tarot cards, as usual.) Today, in the company of Wheel of Fortune, the change is accented. Today the change involves the mind, since Hanged Man has his hands on the wheel too.

………..…………..  Wheel of Fortune and Hanged Man   Wheel of Fortune and Hanged Man describe premonition about something happening – the kind of thing that you say “I KNEW it! I just knew that would happen!” It connects your mind with an event. A feeling in your gut that this is your chance to …. Wheel of Fortune and Hanged man describe a psychic seeing what will happen.

………..………….. Wheel of Fortune and Knight of Swords Your chance to turn things around. An opportunity gets you going, or pursue an opportunity. I am lucky I got out in time. These are typical things these two cards say in Tarot Verbatim™. ‘Either way, I luck out.’

……………………Hanged Man and Knight of Swords   Hanged Man and Knight of Swords exemplify a thought (Hanged Man) striking (Knight of Swords); a change (Knight of Swords) of mind (Hanged Man); and sensing (Hanged Man) a turnaround is in progress (Knight of Swords). Hanged Man is the urge and Knight of Swords is the urgency. These two cards subtly suggest that the mind (Hanged Man’s hair-on-fire) is the source of sudden revolutionary changes in the life (Knight of Swords’ hurtling forward).

. Wheel of Fortune and Hanged Man, Wheel of Fortune and Knight of Swords, Hanged Man and Knight of Swords

Wheel of Fortune……… Wheel of Fortune’s illustration is saying that our fate, our destiny, the events that happen to us, are influenced by spiritual forces. Its title suggests luck in events, and its illustration shows both divine and infernal beings on and around a roulette wheel. The four letters in Hebrew there translate Jehovah or Yahweh (the divine influence) and the lizard and sphinx stuck to the outside of the wheel are evil critters to represent the bad influence.

Wheel of Fortune frequently says ‘wonderful’ and ‘happens,’ as well as ‘opportunity’ or ‘chance.’ Other common words for this card in Rider Waite are: best, optimum, win, reward, it pays or payoff. You find it saying things like ‘magic moment’ too – things that describe a winning-the-lottery experience.

.

Hanged Man…………. Hanged Man ‘Realize’ and its forms are Hanged Man’s frequent calling cards. A thought strikes; insight; a new awareness; ‘gets it.’ Intense feeling, and getting a feeling belong to Hanged Man too. So does having an urge. This is the card for paranormal experience and extrasensory perception. It means enlightenment, and it means vision.

You are disoriented in your Hanged Man moments. The world is upside-down and your thoughts have raced so fast your head is hot. The picture here illustrates that feeling.

.

Knight of Swords ……….   Knight of Swords is hurtling forward in hot pursuit. The rush is his main point, but this card can mean pursuing, fleeing, or making a U-turn – combing back or going back. When Two of Pentacles joins him, a back and forth motion, or switching back and forth, are likely underway. Change is a common meaning for him too – like an about-face. The presence of Wheel of Fortune brings out Knight of Swords’ ‘change’ meanings today. Hanged Man makes it a change of mind.
