Tarot Readings for You for November 28, 2014 Friday©

Nov 27, 2014 by

GUIDANCE      Our sense of humor is acting up today – is twitchy as we look at fellow humans and ask ourselves questions like ‘Whatever happened to these people’s steering wheels?’ and remind ourselves that ‘We all can question ourselves about what we are accomplishing.’ There are grownups who take charge of the nursery, we suggest, but then ‘Maybe the people who are your problem have control of you?’ From a perspective of detachment from the insanity surrounding us, we muse about whether it pays to be that grownup.

.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the three cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Tarot Readings: Why Am I the Responsible One? (Chariot and Seven of Pentacles)

Why am I the responsible one in this messed-up scene?

Asking myself if I want to be the one in charge of this miasma.

We all can question ourselves about what we are accomplishing.

Did I really choose to be in this sick situation?

I did my part, and I can only wonder about them doing theirs.

We ask ourselves if we can straighten us out.

Whatever happened to these people’s steering wheels?

When you arrive at success, you will wonder where all the relatives came from.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: So Am I the Misfit? (Ten of Pentacles and Seven of Pentacles)

To be the solution, or to be the problem: That is the question.

It seems the inmates are in charge at the asylum.

Maybe I’ll decide to be dysfunctional.

Why achieve great things in a petty world?

Maybe the people who are your problem have control of you?

Am I the only sane one in this pandemonium?

Wondering what to do about other people’s problems.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: I Think I Got It, By Golly (Chariot and Seven of Pentacles)

I get control of myself by figuring out the mess I’m in.

I am skilled at analyzing social dilemmas.

I think I can handle anything after being in this family.

I think I succeed because of my ghetto background.

As screwed-up as I am, I think I have a strategy.

I figure I can get ahead right here in the ghetto.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Questionable Achievements (Chariot and Seven of Pentacles)

Having a family is a questionable achievement.

Can I handle working with a company culture like this?

How can these people succeed?

How do you get politicians to be responsible?

He chooses to be on the road because his home life is iffy.

You are in a bus with a whole bunch of strange people.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Chariot – Ten of Pentacles – Seven of Pentacles

.

……………….……………………          In the middle here are the dysfunctionals, represented by the scene of family politics, Ten of Pentacles. To its left is being in responsible control, Chariot. To its right is wondering about all this, Seven of Pentacles. These three cards say ‘Did I really choose to be part of this miasma/mess?’ These three also say ‘It seems the inmates have taken over the asylum.’ They also say ‘Can I really handle these (fill in a pejorative insult of your choice)?’

………………………..           Chariot is the responsible person, the director of the enterprise, the one who straightens things out so the project succeeds. This is the grownup, in today’s story. Chariot’s emphasis usually is about strategy and accomplishing the goal. Today, the goal is not recognized by other people present in his scene.

………………………..            Ten of Pentacles in Tarot Verbatim™ reliably shows up for neurotic social settings, and for dysfunctional relationships or families – in the same way that Queen of Swords shows up for the bitch, but Queen of Swords has other applications and Ten of Pentacles is reserved for games people play in relationships, politics, gangs, various bad neighborhoods and sick scenes. Miasma is a good word for Ten of Pentacles (Look it up – lovely vocabulary word.) and so is ‘screwed-up.’ In the illustration, a controlling old man is head of the family, and he has decreed something son is making his wife accept against her interests. Problems with other people is Ten of Pentacles’ theme: People who are problems, and people who have problems.

………………………..           Seven of Pentacles is one of the simple cards once you know he is leaning on his shovel after his labors, wondering whether the effort will have been worth it, because the cucumbers he planted must have both genders of plant in order to bear fruit, and you don’t know that until they bloom … or don’t. So Seven of Pentacles is wondering about something you have no control over. This is one of the ‘Duh’ cards and is one of the cards that puts its sentence into question form. Today he speculates about the divide between things being in orderly control (Chariot) and things being in disarray (Ten of Pentacles). Seven of Pentacles supplies the humor in our spread today.

………..…………..           Chariot and Ten of Pentacles Chariot and Ten of Pentacles contrast a person being in control of his environment, and people whose self-interests put their situation out of control: order versus chaos. The story of Chariot and Ten of Pentacles is handling a neurotic scene as part of it, being the sane one in the asylum, being the responsible person in a family of nogoodniks. Chariot, of course, is the person who is in control of his environment; Chariot represents order; Chariot is the sane responsible one. Ten of Pentacles is people whose self-interests put their situation out of control, is chaos, is being a part of a neurotic scene, is being in the asylum, and is a family (or any group) of nogoodniks. x..

………..…………...           Chariot and Seven of Pentacles Chariot and Seven of Pentacles ask ‘Do I really want to be in charge of this?’ or ‘Do I have self-control?’ or even ‘Where’s the steering wheel?’ Together, they question the value of success or succeeding at some particular endeavor, and even question the advisability of being a leader, being a responsible and successful person. It’s Seven of Pentacles of course questioning things, and it’s Chariot being in control of the vehicle, hands firmly planted on its steering wheel, being the responsible leader, the sane one creating order, and succeeding. x..

……………………           Ten of Pentacles and Seven of Pentacles Ten of Pentacles and Seven of Pentacles describe ruminating and pondering the state of dysfunctional society and neurotic associates. These two cards set the tone of today’s humorous slant on our troubles with other people. ‘Am I really one of these (fill in the blank of a pejorative word)? Seven of Pentacles speculates about the effect of his background, or his family, upon him. With Chariot at his side, he wonders whether this family makes him ready to handle the world, for instance. x..

Take a good look around you, and you will find people who are still in the dysfunctional state you used to be in, since you too were born a human animal. You ponder how you are going to handle the scene, how you can best deal with the myopic self-interest of your fellows in that very scene. Our spread suggests having a sense of humor about the miasma that passes for normal – and always has – in the human scene. We point out that being the only grownup in the nursery may not be the position you want to be in … or it may.

Chariot ……… Chariot is one of those people who has it together, and is a personable enough, and strong enough, leader to get a project or endeavor accomplished no matter what obstacles to it there are. Chariot has his magic wands to make those pesky sphinxes, each with his own idea about direction, go where he needs them to go. Chariot outsmarts his environment as a master strategist. Today he is merely a responsible sane grownup in the nutty nursery, so his real character is not showing through.

.

Ten of Pentacles …………. Ten of Pentacles is the nutty nursery of fellow ‘Looking Out for Number One’ opinionated and touchy individuals who are part of the same scene. The slogan to keep in your head for the Tarot Verbatim™ perspective on Ten of Pentacles (which is unique to itself, by the way) is ‘People who are a problem or who have a problem’ – trouble or the troublemakers. This is the card for the bad neighbors, for the hard-to-get-along-with relatives, for the underclass of any type, for politicians or mobs or gangs, for crooks and petty criminals of any sort. Petty is another word for the folks this card describes. Note that Ten of Pentacles is the dysfunctional marriage card – that is, until the two ‘good marriage’ cards have appeared, which promotes Ten of Pentacles to just meaning ‘marriage.’ (The other two cards are Ten of Cups and Four of Wands, both of whom have community and group meanings as well.)

.

Seven of Pentacles ………. Seven of Pentacles ‘Huh?’ ‘Duh.’ ‘Hmm.’ That is what Seven of Pentacles says. He wonders, he ponders, he asks, he speculates, he questions. Seven of Pentacles is when you have done your part, and you wonder whether other people (or entities) will do theirs, so your effort or your labor will have paid off. The official slogan for Seven of Pentacles is ‘Doubt about the outcome.’

We are just relaxing at home today. Outside, all I see is white fog. Inside, it is warm and cozy. My daughter asked for mystery food. There wasn’t much food at home, so I looked online for a recipe to use what we had.

    http://allrecipes.com/recipe/simple-scones/

We substituted yogurt for the sour cream and white chocolate chips for the raisins. I added a few handfuls of flour to help the dough hold its shape, and they turned out like milky clouds. The whole house smells nice. My daughter and cat are happy and by my side. The world can take care of itself for today. Rather blissful.

The only problem I had so far was a Rubik’s cube, and it was fun. My daughter and cat are curled around each other now. Mama is happy.
