Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings.  It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.

*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!

Wheel of Fortune – Knight of Swords – Nine of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….……………………  Nine of Wands is one of those cards that can haunt a spread, like it does today. It is about worry, dread, defending a difficult position, being accused, still fighting the battle after being wounded; it is about hanging in there in an unending struggle, in short. Today it creates a rescue theme because the other two cards mean a change and miraculous stroke of luck. Knight of Swords is a turnaround, and Wheel of Fortune is optimum result. This is Alamo with a happy ending.

………………………..   Wheel of Fortune is about coincidence operating as fate, influenced by nonphysical beings. Luck, in other words … usually good luck. Wheel of Fortune means ‘happen’ or ‘It happens.’ It looks like a roulette wheel for that reason, and the spirit-beings factor is clearly expressed by the four famous Hebrew characters that mean ‘Jehovah’ in English, interspersed with the four famous occult characters ‘Rota.’ There are representations of various spirit beings on Wheel of Fortune: winged ones with books, a turquoise sphinx and the evil red lizard.

In application, Wheel of Fortune is massive good luck, a stroke of luck, things turn out for the best, and ‘It happens’ – the miracle occurs. Coincidence, luck, karma, destiny, hitting the jackpot, a windfall, scoring, winning at a gamble.

………………………..   Knight of Swords today is a turnaround, and means suddenly, a change, pursue, and get out of there in a hurry. Its meaning is applied to a change of circumstances today, a switch from a dreadful hanging-in-there standoff to the payoff, the miracle turnaround … because one of Knight of Swords’ meanings is to turn around in a rush.

..……………………….  Nine of Wands is when you are so sick of a situation, and there’s nothing in it for you, but you hang in there for some reason … or for no reason. Nine of Wands is defending – defending a position, defending being accused, or just feeling defensive. Often, it is holding your ground because it’s your ground and it’s being besieged. This is the way it feels to be at the Alamo. The border guard here is wounded in the head and is back on duty dreading the return of his attackers.

……….…………   Wheel of Fortune and Knight of Swords Wheel of Fortune and Knight of Swords say a turnaround is about to happen. Wheel of Fortune is a miracle, destiny, a happening, lucking out, a jackpot or payoff. It is the machinery of luck, and the card, unmolested by other cards, means good luck. So with Knight of Swords, the miracle is here unannounced or the destiny is here without notice, because Knight of Swords means suddenly. Something good is up, the payoff is about to happen, the cavalry is on its way, there’s a sudden turn of events, and you luck out fast.

Wheel of Fortune and Knight of Swords are about a big chance or a grand opportunity (Wheel of Fortune) and a reversal or a getting out, or a pursuit of that grand opportunity. So you get these sentences and phrases: This is your chance to reverse it. Big chance to turn things around. Your big chance to get out. You are lucky you ducked out of there. Pursue the payoff.

Wheel of Fortune and Knight of Swords are definitely about a change for the better, a change that is on its way and coming fast. Here are the sentences and phrases for that: Even a wonderful change …. A grand opportunity to change everything. This is your opportunity to switch from _ and go into attack mode. One event is about to change everything. Something good, for a change. Imminent change. Reversal of fortune. Miracle is here unannounced. The destiny is here without notice. Something good is up.

Wheel of Fortune and Knight of Swords have a ‘not anymore’ energy to them, and Knight of Swords constantly bring forth the ‘not anymore’ phrase, with the word in between meaning getting out of a fix. So we have these sentences and phrases for these two Rider Waite Tarot cards: Not _ anymore: You win big. Your day has come: You are not __ anymore. You have nothing to _ anymore; it’s wonderful. A turning point in life: not _ anymore. A breakthrough, and you are not _ anymore.

Wheel of Fortune and Knight of Swords sometimes emphasize the suddenness of a turnaround, good change or miracle, because Wheel of Fortune is all of those, and because Knight of Swords is the suddenness. So we get these sentences and phrases: … until suddenly it happens. A turnaround is about to happen. The payoff is about to happen. The cavalry is on its way, and all will be well. You luck out, and it happens fast. A sudden turn of events . x..

……….…………  Wheel of Fortune and Nine of Wands    Wheel of Fortune and Nine of Wands Wheel of Fortune and Nine of Wands combine luck and being trapped, or defensive, or in a cramped situation you are putting up with. You luck out of being trapped, these two Rider Waite Tarot cards say in Tarot Verbatim™. So we get phrases and sentences like these: This is your opportunity to _ from defense …. Your big chance, in your cramped situation. A grand opportunity re everything you have been putting up with. At the mercy of others, your day has come. The worm gets lucky. This last one is my favorite.

Sometimes the emphasis, in Wheel of Fortune and Nine of Wands, is on the sweating out while the person is apprehensive. Then, you get sentences and phrases like these: Sweating out my big chance. This is your chance to _ a threatening situation. Hang in there, something’s about to happen. Hold your position – the payoff …. Something good for you who have stood your ground for so long. A breakthrough when you are worried. What you have been waiting for so patiently happens. A turn of events when you are under the eight-ball. Hang in there, all will be well. You are so tense … and it happens. Imminent _ while you (tensely) wait. Threatened, but you win big.

Sometimes the emphasis, in Wheel of Fortune and Nine of Wands, is on waiting for the miracle to come, is on the big chance you are waiting for. Then the sentences and phrases come out like this: A long-awaited miracle. The destiny you have been waiting for. The payoff you have waited for all this time. x..

……..…………   Knight of Swords and Nine of Wands   Knight of Swords and Nine of Wands combine waiting (waiting apprehensively) with a change or a sudden change. Since Knight of Swords is, like, going in the opposite direction, and Nine of Wands is fearful, these two cards in Tarot Verbatim™ presage or suggest the change is a good one, which of course is what Wheel of Fortune means. So these two cards can mean the whole sentence without Wheel of Fortune, largely. Here are the sentences in which the emphasis is on the waiting: The long awaited _ is here unannounced. What you have been waiting for so patiently … and you are on your way. A change, for you who have stood your ground for so long. A change, while you tensely wait. What you have been waiting for is here without notice. Something is about to change everything you worry about. Hold your position; a change is on its way. Pursue what you have waited for all this time.

Here are the sentences in which the emphasis in Knight of Swords and Nine of Wands is on the turnaround, the change from one to another state: The worm turns. Sweating out … to turn things around. Hang in there, a turnaround …. A turning point in life: I’m not nervous anymore. A sudden turn gets you out from under the eight-ball. To change everything you have been putting up with. To reverse a threatening situation. To switch from defense mode and go into attack mode.

Knight of Swords and Nine of Wands express a relief from an oppressive situation, usually a sudden or abrupt relief. This is often expressed with the ‘not anymore’ phrase, with a word in the middle that describes getting out of the bad situation. Here are the sentences in which a person isn’t trapped, cramped, under pressure, intimidated and in dread anymore: The pressure is off. You’re not going to be under the weather anymore. You are so tense until suddenly …. To get out of a cramped situation. Not trapped anymore.   … out of being trapped, and it happens fast. Not being threatened anymore. You are not at the mercy of others anymore. I can’t be intimidated anymore. You have nothing to dread anymore. You duck out of a standoff. Change makes us nervous. x..

You are waiting for the miracle to come … and here it comes. You can smell a shift in the air when destiny is changing gears, and then the jolt of overdrive is here and you are on your way and out of there with the momentum of that shift. This spread is about that moment of the smell. Inhale right now!

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Wheel of Fortune………. Wheel of Fortune is a word picture if you know what you are looking at – like a lot of Tarot cards. Wheel of Fortune is coincidence being influenced by unseen nonphysical elements. The idea is beautifully depicted by a roulette-wheel looking thing that has a circle with the four letters of God’s name in Hebrew and four letters that come from a myth that occultists have adopted to mean, roughly, destiny. (Apollo is involved there.) In actual operation, you want to see Wheel of Fortune in your spread because it is almost like the Nine of Cups your-wish-is-granted influence: It means things happen for the best – but Wheel of Fortune says due to a stroke of fortune intervening in the situation … a miracle, in other words. Leonard Cohen has a song that says ‘waiting for the miracle to come,’ and Wheel of Fortune – especially flanked by Nine of Wands as it is here – means exactly that.

.

Knight of Swords…………. Knight of Swords shows an armed man in full regalia in hot pursuit, blade raised and horse scooting as fast as it can go. Speed is of the essence in Knight of Swords. You have to look for whether he is pursuing (as the picture shows), or fleeing (as it sometimes applies, for no particular reason), or turning around in a hurry, switching back … which can translate ‘turnaround.’ Turnaround is what we have with Knight of Swords today because there’s a miracle in front of him and a dreadful situation behind him, in the spread.

.

Nine of Wands …………. Nine of Wands is when you’re stuck, it hurts, but you’re still standing, still staying. You are holding a position, defending what’s yours, or maybe have no clear escape until something happens to release you. The card itself does not assume relief is coming, but today the spread affords that. Nine of Wands is defending, guarding, or defensive. It is also being wounded by your situation: hurt feelings or physical hurt. This is the wounded war veteran or the abused spouse.
