.………..………. .……..…….. Well, in the middle we have worry. To the left is ‘all the time.’ To the right is ‘not at all.’ Nine of Swords is like a weed: It takes over the space it finds itself in, as it does today.

Eight of Pentacles does it routinely, and Fool doesn’t do it at all. Fool is the rescue card for Nine of Swords today. Fool turns the worry of Nine of Swords into a ‘What, me worry?’ statement. Note that Fool in itself is ‘not to worry,’ so that Nine of Pentacles just latches onto Fool harmlessly. Fool and Nine of Swords classically say ‘Don’t worry about it.’

Eight of Pentacles……. The picture shows a carpenter making one object after another. Fool………Fool is ‘water off a duck’s back.’ Fool is ‘I don’t know and I don’t care.’ Fool is being free … so free you don’t even think of it as freedom. You just are. It just is. Fool is to assume and to be oblivious.       There is a Tarot Muse place. When I was learning, I had these dreams of the Tarot Community. Queen of Pentacles was folding laundry with Page of Wands, who was her son, for instance.

    • I like the entire flow of the reading, right down to the deer, as a deer just walked through my yard before I looked at this. Because my life pace is more rapid than it has been in many years, I have come back to Tarot Verbatim regularity by scanning for what pops. I found it pulled me in better than trying to force careful scrutiny of each and every word. Subconsciously I was saying I didn’t have time and for a few weeks not looking at all. Missed it. Missed the people here. And the meanings. Now I take what I can and am rebuilding the connection. Yay!

      • Things are looking up for you. That’s great, and I’m glad for you, and your family. The picture is of my baby elk, and the stuff at the bottom is the back of their mama, who is standing between the person with the camera and her kids.

        Since the material is subconscious, and scanning must involve the subconscious, it makes sense that you would get a different experience than you would reading it very deliberately. Both methods have their uses.
        Any PC has that blue thingamajig at the lower left of the screen, that you click on to get the computer to read to you. Try that while you are doing something reflexive (washing dishes?).
        Let me know if you do, what that does for you.

        I am trying to decrease the number of words. The best way is to limit the number of sentences. Have been doing some paring.
