GUIDANCE      A train wreck isn’t the end of the story, and when something breaks, it doesn’t always break into a million pieces. So you lost control and wrecked, or you are bankrupt: That isn’t fatal, so the story isn’t over. It isn’t even over when you are severely disabled or handicapped in some way. It’s not the end of the line, whatever it is, we are saying today.

.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

No, you are not a failure – you are confused about that.

Didn’t ruin your life when you ‘lost it.’

Nothing can humiliate me; I’m a mess, yes.

Bankruptcy ends the chaos.

Don’t let a nasty surprise get you down.

It wasn’t fatal, and you haven’t lost your mind.

.

Tarot Readings: Ten of Swords and Seven of Cups

.. ….

Being messed up is not the worst thing in the world, you know.

Confusion isn’t such a bad thing.

It broke, but not in a whole lot of pieces.

Your meltdowns do not hurt my feelings.

Clutter doesn’t make me feel bad anymore.

It’s broken but it did not disintegrate.

I’m broken up but certainly not defeated.

I’m defeated but certainly not broken up.

.

Tarot Readings: Two of Swords and Seven of Cups

. …..n

I didn’t fail – I’m amazed.

I lost control but did not wreck.

Everything falls apart but it isn’t such a bad time.

Losing my mind prevented the pain.

Don’t be shocked when you fail miserably at something, okay?

And don’t let the bullshit get you down.

The scandal does not devastate me.

Say ‘no’ to getting shot down by a crazy-ass.

You don’t lose control just because you are severely disabled.

No, brain-fog isn’t fatal.

Today is a lesson in Rescue Cards. Most rescue cards are negators (cards that negate or cancel out). Two of Swords and Four of Cups are very strong negators. Two of Swords means: No way! It is very emphatic. End of the line, it’s over, it’s not, ain’t gonna.

Our other two cards are disaster, betrayal and hurting, Ten of Swords; and losing control, chaos, insanity and confusion, Seven of Cups. So a disaster that could lose you your mind doesn’t happen. So losing control and wrecking isn’t the end, isn’t fatal.

Whenever you see one of the ‘bad cards’ in your spread, look for ones that counterbalance its effect, either by canceling it out (the usual thing) or by overcoming it – and there are a lot of overcoming cards too.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE

Ten of Swords      You see someone stabbed in the back lying in a desolate patch of ground, the weapons still in him or her. So, yes, Ten of Swords is failure, humiliation, being killed, pain, suffering, betrayal, ordeal, hitting bottom, devastated by heartache … just about any terrible thing. And the damage is done already. That is usually the application with Ten of Swords unless a negator card reframes the situation it speaks of, or unless Ten of Swords is in a future position in your spread.

Two of Swords   is one of the easiest cards to remember. It is ‘no way’ and ‘no’ and any negative, negating, word or phrase you can think of. It means ‘stop’ and ‘end’ or ‘end up’ too. To drive its meaning home so that you forever remember how to apply it, here are where it sits in each of today’s one-sentence readings, in the order in which it appears in them: no, you are not; don’t; nothing can; ends; don’t let; you haven’t; it wasn’t, and you haven’t; is not the; isn’t such a; but not; do not; doesn’t anymore; but it did not; but certainly not; but certainly not; didn’t; but did not; but it isn’t such a; prevented; don’t be; and don’t let; does not; say ‘no’ to; you don’t; no, _ isn’t.

Seven of Cups      Remember Fantasia, a children’s Disney movie about the Sorcerer’s Apprentice who loses control of mischievous spirits he conjured up in his amateurish way? He was not in control of them and they created havoc and chaos before the boss calmed the situation. Seven of Cups illustrates that. So Seven of Cups is losing control, is a situation that is out of control or is a mess – or a person that is out of control or is a mess, is a situation in which things have fallen apart and you have or someone has ‘blown it.’

Seven of Cups is confusion and nonsense. Seven of Cups is shock, scandal, being amazed, the poop hitting the fan, blarney.

And Seven of Cups also is debris, things jumbled together, disorder, the needle in the haystack, one chance in a million … and your messy home.

Let it be known that the cup with the veil over it, outlined in red, is the good spirit that was in Pandora’s box, that is released after the bad spirits. The good spirit is hope in that messy situation.

.

.

.

Our main idea today is that all is not lost when you’ve blown it and things have fallen apart. Just because things are a mess doesn’t mean you failed. Don’t let the insanity around you get to you, and even if you do go crazy all is not lost. Even if you are handicapped, you haven’t lost control of your days.

I read it it -but I’m bitter, depressed in pain and scared to death! It is never going to end. Till it does and that is truly what I want.

    • Nothing wrong with bitter, but meaning is a thing you make or unmake, so take the raw material and make the best possible use of it for the best possible ending. We can all do that if we will it.

A little apprehensive, scratch that, more than a little apprehensive on this spread for Monday. I don’t want to think too much because then it becomes a self-prophecy. I hoping the negative that happens, if at all, isn’t about Mr Bull and I. Just thinking positive thoughts and don’t initiate contact or flirting with Mr Bull and I should survive Monday and the rest of this week unscathed.

    • This is about the bad stuff not happening, Tina. But you can cross your fingers anyway.

      • Tina

Nothing negative happened between Mr Bull and I. In fact, he surprised me, albeit via a phone conversation, but surprise nonetheless.
He was ‘complaining/teasing’ me to help him with something and ‘do some work for a change’. He said, and I quote because I think it has a secret meaning ‘think of me first. take care of me’. So I said ‘i always take care of you and think of you when I wake up in the morning and when I go to bed at night’. And he responded in a joking way saying ‘yeah in your nightmares’ and i just chuckled and we hung up.

Don’t know if this relates to this spread but I guess the conversation could have went bad but so far today (4/5/16) he’s staring at me with a smile on his face.
